Known for his amazing work in the world of marine art, Robert Lyn Nelson is considered a pioneer of oceanic art. He is very well known for his work as an artist and has created many beautiful works that stand in famous galleries and private showcases across the country. Nelson’s style of art is a highly surreal – but still very realistic – approach to the oceanic world. Nelson was born and raised in Upland, California, and began working with charcoals and pencils at a very young age (reportedly as young as three years of age).
