You’ll like the Fujifilm FinePix S700’s crisp 7.1 Mega pixel resolution with 10x optical zoom capabilities. This camera powers than 2 seconds and the shutter responds quickly as expected. The camera is powered by four double-A alkaline batteries, which can support as many as 475 shots. Efficient, isn’t it? Plus, it’s got all the goodness of a functional camera - flash, capture modes, continuous shooting, among others.

Internet users are now looking for an alternative to the Internet Explorer. And Firefox is one of the favorites. Just recently Firefox 3 was released. The major improvement on this version is its anti-malware feature, which is an improvement of Firefox 2’s anti-phishing feature.A lot of people are switching browsers because they are aware that malware and spyware could probably reside in them. The browser with the best security feature is the most preferred. This is the main reason why browser makers are constantly improving and changing their codes to keep up with the times. And to be sure that users are protected from the new viruses that spreads like wildfire.

It comes with both a momentary tail switch for tactical demands, and a neck switch for everyday patrol use. This is one cool flashlight. I wonder if it is set up for use with a standard flashlight clamp for your tactical shotgun or rifle? I am putting this on my Christmas wish list, so if a friend, boss, employee, lover, or family member was looking for the perfect gift for me, put this at the top!

I find myself moving one pile to clear out an area to use something, and then moving it back in order to use something else.

My plan is to go to the new IKEA today and see if i can find some cheap solutions to my hoarding problem. Then again, maybe I should just throw some stuff away. No, I might need that stuff later. The first step to fixing your problem is admitting you have one, right?

You know those tickers at the bottom of all our favorite T.V. channels these days? Well, I love to hate them. I cannot give either the show or the tickers my full attention. Just when I see something interesting in the ticker, I have already missed something on the show.

Even worse than missing the content, I have usually missed the first part of the ticker, so all I know for sure is what happened, not usually who it happened to. Therefore I am forced to re-watch the entire ticker again to figure out who the info is about, inevitably separated by at least one commercial break. And what happens then? First, I don’t care, and second, I have missed more content on the show. Anyone else feel my pain?

We have just had a green car dealership open up here in town. They carry electric, hybrid and solar-powered cars in their inventory and sell both new and used cars and trucks. We spend a lot of time on this blog talking about advancements in technology, because that is what it is for, but I think it is important to stress that we have the ability to use our advanced understanding of the world to make it a better place, and this is one way to do it.

Here is a tidbit from their website:

“Ecomotion: Earth Friendly New and Pre-Owned Vehicles is a fresh and enterprising new green car emporium offering automotive buyers a fantastic opportunity to take greener steps toward a more sustainable future. An innovative contributor to the field of smart energy transportation, Ecomotion demonstrates that business can act as a catalyst for inspiration.”

Beyond being a total computer geek, I am also a former band geek as well. I was the Drum Major for both my High School and a local Drum Corps called the Spartans.

I have always been a huge fan of Drum Corps International, the governing body of the Drum Corps activity, but I have a little complaint about technology. Several years ago, DCI decided to allow some types of electronica into an activity that was, until then, exclusively horns, drums, and the occasional ensemble vocal sound. I thought nothing of it, and was only concerned that there would be the potential of using a keyboard or synthesizer to mimic things that should be done on the field.

Two weekends ago I took a trip down to Pasadena, Ca and more specifically, the Rose Bowl to see the DCI World Championships. Several of the groups used a microphone to describe things happening in their show, I hated it, but I understood the artistic license.

Now, there is one Corps, called the Cadets that have always been progressive in my opinion, but i think they have gone too far. During the entire show, they had corps members whine about not fitting in, or talk about there favorite parts of practice, or discuss what they could do better. I could NOT even hear the music or pay attention to the marching or colorguard at all while this talking was going on, full blast through a microphone. It was like watching a movie in front of someone who was using their cell phone to discuss the reasons their latest relationship just didn’t work out.

I call for a removal of all all technology-based electronica from a sport that was originally played on a stretched skin and an animal horn. NO MORE MICROPHONES DCI!

This is a quick run down on this very interesting technology:

Blade server basics:

Definition: blade servers are part of a computer configuration where power, cooling, storage and connectivity are largely provided by an outer housing or chassis. The chassis contains and services a number of specialised, stripped down motherboard units - the blade servers - each one a complete computer or service device containing only vital processing and storage elements.

Blade server technology was initially developed in the early millennium through a partnership between IBM and Intel. Later, a number of major companies, led by IBM, formed an “industry community” in February 2006, with a website base at blade.org. The mission of the community is to “accelerate the growth and adoption of [blade] technologies in the market.”

The Sony PlayStation 3 60GB has indeed built a reputation of its own as being the most expensive next-generation game console out in the market. But with the value I am receiving from my money, I am even more convinced that the PS3 is just about the best product I’ve ever invested in.

The PS3 comes with a Blu-ray disc drive, which lets me play high-definition Blu-ray movies, and not just the regular DVDs. Plus, with its 60GB hard drive, I can save virtually anything I want onto the system! And with Bluetooth support, I can then play whatever games with wireless controls easily! To top it all off, I can play online games for free as well! This is indeed the sweetest game console I have ever encountered!

Security issues such as bluejacking, bluebugging, and bluesnarfing are getting common. Most of the security breaches perpetrated using the Bluetooth technology lead to problems such as denial of service and mobile viruses, Trojans, and worms hosting. Another annoying problem Bluetooth users experience is called bluespamming. This one works very similar to email spamming.

In fact, I can swivel the screen so that it would be laid flat! In addition, this is not the only convenient feature about the Toshiba Satellite R15-S822!

By twisting the screen, I can then view my notebook the way I would a regular book, or even the way I watch television! Plus, the Intel Pentium M processor lets me use all sorts of applications at optimum speed! What’s more, Toshiba’s very own Shock Protection System gives ultimate protection from impacts and such, as well as reliability for my hardware components!

The Olympus Stylus 710 comes with 28 shooting modes, so I can experiment with the effects I would want on my photos. Plus, it has the Digital Image Stabilization Mode, which lets me take whatever image I want in picture perfect clarity. And with its Bright Capture Technology, I can then take high-end pictures in whatever condition and lighting. Even my friends are impressed with the pictures I just took of them last weekend!

The headphones also have a smarter and more attractive design to it, since it comes with a gold-plated plug. The pair’s volume control is also very easy to manipulate and is very hassle-free to use when I adjust the volume as I go about my daily routine. The technological advances of Panasonic are also exhibited through the frequency response at a range of 14 Hz to 24000 Hz. Buying this pair has given me no room for regrets at all.

I have been checking out the specs of the Denon S-301 for quite some time now. And I have decided that this is indeed the speaker system I want to have for my home theater. The built-in decoders alone are more than reason enough to get the speakers, and these include Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Digital, and DTS decoder.

The S-301 also boasts of the latest technology that gives you the superior sound quality I so want from my system. Connectivity and operation of the whole system is also made easier, especially when it comes to connecting my portable players! With Dolby Pro Logic II, sound enhancement is made possible from audio files, to MP3 files, and even to 5.1-channel DVDs! This is truly one of the most innovative speaker systems from Denon!

Running through the specs, I learned that this monitor has a resolution of 1600 x 1200, with TFT active matrix for its display technology. For color support, the monitor can actually support 16.7 million colors, at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.

I also like the front controls that come with the monitor. You can actually adjust a lot of aspects with the front controls easily, such as brightness, sharpness, contrast, gamma correction, color balance, and color temperature! Oh, and the sleek design of the monitor greatly helps as well! I am definitely getting me one of these!

One of the things I like about this printer is that it would let me print high-end photos fast. It is actually the print head and the 5-color ink system that is exclusive to Canon printer technology that enables this speedy printing process.

The printer also comes with two paper trays, to hold regular and photo paper easily. What’s more, I can print on both sides of the paper without having to flip the page over! Now this is indeed a very attractive feature! Learning about these features has certainly persuaded me to get this model printer from Canon.

Last month, AMD attempted at yet another skinny innovation of a desktop PC. This is a far cry from the iMac, which had conveniently found a way to totally do without the bulky computer chassis. However, AMD is doing its best to minimize the space required for computers, all for the benefit of middle-class computer users who can’t much afford the high-off-the-roof price of iMacs.AMD called their small and thin chassis the DXT form factor. It’s almost a third smaller than the regular ATX chassis and several inches more compact and thinner than the micro ATX. The box also includes locations for the computer’s major components, namely the motherboard, expansion slot, mounting holes, and input/output ports.

This game is really the life of the party, and it gets better when I’m playing it with my friends! Each and every move I make is enhanced by the Wii Remote.
