Big Brother is in full swing. Lord have mercy. This show is crazy. I watch every year and some years I can’t stand to watch but this one, man oh man. They are playing in cliques. Yeah, high school cliques. I HATED high school mainly because my school was full of cliques. But that a whole other post. Here’s what I think of the schemers and players…

Lydia is a snake.

Kevin needs to shut his mouth. Quit putting yourself in the middle of everything.

Natalie is like that little dog that follows around the bulldog in the sylvester cartoons. All she does is follow around Jessie and Russell.

Russell is the worst!!! He is like the house bully.

Ronnie needs to watch his step. He may be Head of Household this week but he needs to stop promising everything to both sides because he’s going to get caught, hopefully.

Well, can you tell which side I would be on, the underdogs. I do not like people who bully others. This is definitely like watching high school. Okay I had to speak my peace because the show is really starting to bug me.

I am exhausted so I figured bullets are easy.

• J is going to be 4 soon. His birthday plans are in full swing. I really need to get his invitations going.
• Yesterday we had a playdate with my bestest friend and her kiddos. My brother and his fiancee came out to talk to us about wedding plans and we spent the rest of the evening making lists and researching reception sites and I believe she may have picked some dates. YEAH!!! We had a good time.
• JT went out last night and didn’t get home until 2:30 am or so, L woke up at 2:00, JT once home rolled over and slapped me in the face while we were sleeping, that was around 5:00. It was a rough early morning sleep.
• I am SO excited about taking my brother’s engagement photos, can barely stand it. My friend S is walking me through exposure and answering my questions. The more I know the better
• I NOW HAVE PHOTOSHOP CS3. WOW, cannot wait to start playing with it. I wish S and I could sit and just play for hours but unfortunately we both have responsibilities (there called kids)
• We’re waiting to hear if our friends from KC are coming in for the weekend, they want to do STL touristy stuff which is always fun.
• On Monday I will be meeting with Holly McCaig for the first time to watch her work (squeal)

There that’s all the info I have, I have cute pictures of J today to post and my photo blog to get caught up. I may just lay on the couch and do nothing tonight.

Today was the first day of our produce delivery. It was so much fun, like a wonderful wonderland of veggies and fruits. More than we ever thought/expected an the extras were out of this world.

• 1 Watermelon
• 8 Granny Smith Apples
• 8 Bananas
• 3 bunches of asparagus
• 2 bunches of broccoli
• 5 red onions
• 5 tomatoes
• 7 peaches
• 5 ears of corn
• 4 heads of red leaf lettuce
• 1 bag of potatoes plus 5 extra

Everyone received the same items (except the strawberries and cherries) just different quantities by one or so. For instance if we ran out of tomatoes, someone may have gotten 4 instead of five but then they got an extra potato instead. The helpers (3 women that helped me sort – thank god) were given a choice of items that were left over, hence the extra lettuce in my bunch. So it all comes out even. The cost was $23. Awesome. Can’t wait to start using it tonight.

So very excited. Can barely stand it… Need to shout it from the rooftops. I am going to be an on-location photographer’s assistant and a wedding assistant. What an amazing experience this will be, I cannot wait to learn from someone this talented and learn more about the business. Plus the photographer that I will be working with is so cool. Yesterday I took the kids outside to play with my camera. I had so much fun and the kids of course dressed accordingly. Meaning they both dressed themselves. Here are some of my favorites.

Ah, we had great plans today. We were going to hang out at the pool with Heather and her kids. I was looking forward to sitting and talking with Heather while my kids were playing. Stupid rain. Here’s what I’m up against today…

usually I don’t let the rain get me down but when you have plans it can be disheartening. She invited us to come out and play and I should have said yes. Sure it’s far but good company would’ve been worth it. JT is home today, working from home and I could get the little grocery shopping done that I have left. But that doesn’t sound like much fun, that sounds more like responsibility. What I really want to do is take the kids to the zoo, it’s almost against the law that I live so close and haven’t been but twice this year and we haven’t even see the stingrays yet.

The dollar show is a good idea but why are there no more in STL. Why do I have to drive out to St. Charles just to see a bunch of kids flicks that have run their course in the regular theaters. Okay well I’m done complaining I’ll go figure out something to do. Sorry Heather, hope you guys have a good day.

Yep, L likes to walk around the house singing and dancing all day. I should get it on video but until I convince my hubby that I need a flip video (I’m working on it S) it’s probably not going to happen. Anyway, the lyrics that she walks around singing aren’t 5 year old appropriate. Here are some examples:

“I wanna take a ride on your disco stick” Thank god she does not know what this means

“I said shush girl, shut your lips, do the Helen Keller and talk with your hips” Now she has J singing the same thing

Not only is she singing all of the inapporpriate lyrics from the radio but she is also making up her own dances. When Right Round comes on (by Flo-rida) she sits in her carseat and spins her finger around and her head. It’s quite hilarious.

If the radio is on Radio Disney or something that I would not be caught dead listening too, she requests that I change the station immediately and put on my music. Lord!!!

A music snob at 5. I am sure there are more examples but I can’t remember them right now and thanks to Erika for the blogging material. She seems to be having some musical issues with her fam right now too.

I had to wait… then I wasn’t sure how to blog about something so wonderful. It felt like it would never happen. I thought my brother would be a bachelor FOREVER!

Then he met HER. She is so wonderful. Good with my kids, good to my brother, down to earth and beautiful. She’s tons of fun and bit shy. We are so very excited about their engagement, probably no one more than me. They were engaged on 7/6/09 but my mom and I are saying 7/8/09 because it’s a way cooler date

For all the family out there that reads my blog and is crazy for info, here it is: They are getting married next Spring (date to be determined), they are going away to have a private just the two of them wedding  (possibly Jamaica) and coming back to a full-on rager, reception, party. As soon as dates are picked and places oh and I get to take their engagement pictures, so once all of that is determined and done, I will update all of you.

CONGRATS to N8 and my future sis-in-law. Now of course I have pictures.

Aren’t they cute together. Do you see a common denominator in almost every one of my pictures of them together…. L!!! She is always in the middle of them or sitting on C’s lap. I’d say she might love C a little more than us not much though.

I am finally taking a class tonight. A photography class. I called a local photographer that has a big sign outside saying they were offering classes so I called today and tonight is the first class. It’s for 4 Tuesdays and only costs $100. WOOT! Plus he said that there will be several other D70 users. Yeah. Can’t wait to start learning.

I think he could possibly be the cutest baby ever.

Tonight we celebrated a special little girl’s 2nd birthday and finally got to meet the newest member of the family. He is the sweetest baby, I couldn’t keep my hands off of him.

My kids had so much fun they are planning a playover and sleepover or that’s how L put it. She is very excited to have them over to play and sleep. Okay by now you know I took a whole bunch of pictures… so here’s some more.

We went on a walk to the creek, this picture cracks me up. As someone put it, it resembles Abbey Road

She was so excited to sing Happy Birthday and to blow out her candle, so cute. In fact, her mom had to relight the candle because she blew it out before we could sing. Check out the determination in this picture

Well we had a blast and now I am going to bed because it was a busy weekend and we have a super busy day tomorrow. I can’t wait to show you our newest addition in the backyard. My mom and I went and picked it up today. So cool. Thanks to my mom for everything this past week and weekend.
