Setting goals is a very significant part of success and positive accomplishments. Put our written down goals where we will see them everyday. Look at them often and surely success will follow, as day follows night.'&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The above success principle has been praised by just about all those who have applied it. Those who do not apply it usually get left in the dust, goal-less. There are some who are able to bypass this principle and still enjoy great succcess, but they are few and far in between.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In my experience with goal setting, past and present, I find that in addition to writing them out, pictures of my goals and associated items, help me to visualize actually having them, just as if they are in a layaway catalogue, all I have to do is pay the price to pick them up. This allows me to think that it is just a matter of time until they arrive! This really helps to allay any negative vibes that may crop up during the adventure.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At the time, I was rarely successful at staying consistent and focusing steady on anything important. I mostly just played at life. I knew all the rules of success but was haphazard at applying them, no consistency. This does plague me from time to time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That is until I got serious . . . 1987. That year I quit smoking, quit drinking, and quit being lazy! I dropped 60 lbs. in 3 months, and worked up to running 5 miles a day. I experienced the power of Focus! I wrote an article about how I made that happen. I called it, Set Your Mind To Win and you can read it at: http://www.realgoalgetter.com/articles/smith/set-your-mind.html . In it I explained some of what I did to achieve those goals. This article actually follows up on that one, with a little more detail, and in a different way.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
That next year, 1988, I made a decision to take my wife to Hawaii. I remember it was a vacation trip though that I really wanted for my wife and I. It was her dream trip to Hawaii, she had never been there. So we planned two weeks in October that year. It all seems so long ago, actually it was. At the time of this writing it is 2004.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Back then, I didn't have any of the the resources that I needed to take this trip, and I didn't know how I was going to do it. I was flat broke. But I did know that I wanted it for my wife and I. This was a tremendous amount of cash for me to come up with in so short a time. For me this was nigh impossible! There were no past references in me to even think this was possible. I didn't even have a savings account at the time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Being in Sales and Supervision at the time, one of the procedures to make it easy for people to buy was to break down the necessary actions, payments etc. to the ridiculously simple, so they would believe it was not only possible but absolutely doable! I brainstormed all the things we wanted to have and do on our trip, all that it would cost, and totalled it up. I would need at least $8,000.00 in order to make it happen. I needed to break this down into timelines.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I pushed the negative self talk aside every time it came up. (And it came up often, believe me) I came up with ideas I needed to act on and I started to break them down into 5 smaller actions, and then into 5 smaller actions until I came up with a ridulously simple thing, that I could believe I could do and that I could do right there and then, and just waded into them one at a time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I booked the trip in May, without having all my ducks in a row, heh, heh. I booked the time off at work and having told all my colleagues what I had planned, I couldn't back out. Talk about a public commitment, and a commitment to my wife is not easily broken, so I pulled out all the stops to make this trip happen. I tightened my belt on a lot of things that I didn't need and also worked my tail off to earn extra income so I could save some for the trip. I lived and breathed that trip every day.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I surrounded myself in my car, house, and office, with post cards, pictures, magazine articles, travel books, videos, sun tan lotion, even a fake grass skirt that I picked up in a yard sale and hung around my bathroom mirror.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I made an audio recording and listened to my own voice on tape of how I was making things happen, and I visualized (imagined) how successful I was at taking each of the actions necessary. I set out my intention. (Positive Self Talk in my car) This was weird stuff, believe me I felt weird at the beginning.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I talked about it all the time. It served it's purpose though and kept my focus strong, and concentrated my power! I never let myself forget for a moment that I wanted this Hawaii trip badly, and that I was on the hook for this. I kept reminding myself in every way possible that this trip was important, I mean, almost life or death important.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Well, I made that trip happen just the way I wanted it, and my wife was ecstatic. One week on Oahu, and one week on Maui. We took 33 rolls of film in two weeks, a visual reminder of the fun and good times we had. My wife had her dream trip, and I had a real life reference that would change how I went after my goals forever.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Making this trip happen really made it clear to me that goal setting really works big time, as long as you keep your eye on the ball. Since then, I work on my goals regularly, always keeping them in mind. I have a dream collage of pictures framed on my wall, and I have a long list of 'wishes' that I have yet to take action on. I just have to pump up the volume from time to time.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I am not perfect by any stretch but I keep at it. After I met this challenge, I sure haven't got any excuse for not having or doing something.The best reward I got from that experience was the feeling that I could achieve basically anything providing I stoked my desire high enough, and managed my thoughts and focus.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When you have one gargantuan goal, that by going after it, you automatically achieve all of your others, this helps to keep your focus concentrated, and your energy does not get dissipated by going in a lot of different directions. Just like Napoleon Hill writes about how powerful a 'Magnificent Obsession' can be.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Please do not take this as 'bragging' as my intention is only to demonstrate that anyone can do, have, or be whatever they want as long as you pay the price asked. Who in their right mind would brag about a small amount like $8,000.00 anyway in this day and age?&lt;br /&gt;
Let's see some of the focus activities I used in doing this:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. Write down my goal and review it frequently. Immerse myself in it.&lt;br /&gt;
2. Surround myself with associate items, pictures, smells, feels, and/or tastes.&lt;br /&gt;
3. Think as if it's on layaway, it's in the bank, and confidently pay the price.&lt;br /&gt;
4. Create future references by visualizing you have received them already.&lt;br /&gt;
5. Talk about them all the time, and record my own enthusiastic voice to listen to.&lt;br /&gt;
6. Control my focus by crowding out the negative, overwhelming it with positive.&lt;br /&gt;
7. Break down my actions to the ridiculously simple, be specific.&lt;br /&gt;
8. Commited to myself, my wife, and everyone I cared about. (built up importance)&lt;br /&gt;
9. Set my mind to 'win', there is no other option to consider.&lt;br /&gt;
10. Have faith that this will happen, use the peak to peek principle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One focus to success. Build momentum in all things instead of distraction. It is all about focus. You can make this work for you too. The real question to ask yourself is this:&lt;br /&gt;
How can I take these 10 'focus' strategies, use them as a ckecklist of sorts, apply them to my most important goal, make them work for me, and enjoy the process?&lt;br /&gt;

Focus on the experience you want to create, not the physical form that may - or may not - bring that experience.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
6 What feels like when it comes your dream?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Personal passion feeds a vision. Immerse yourself in the thrill and euphoria of the sense of living his dream. Every moment you can drink in the joy of having its objective.&lt;br /&gt;
Hawaiian Kahuna say "where your creative attention flows, such flows your life." is it your daily care to feed his dream? As TV public service announcement reminds us, "it's midnight." "Do you know where your children are?" Well, in your life's high noon! Do you know where your creative excitement is flowing?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is time that you expressed their aspirations. Creations dynamic, successful feeding with love and care as a flower in the garden.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
7 How will benefit from his dream?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Get specific about the benefits that will achieve its vision. Note these advantages by what it sink as motivating factors. What exactly would happen if you did a lot of money doing something you love? How could we bring their different life if it allowed the people of love and support? What would you do with more vitality and health?&lt;br /&gt;
8 What steps can you take today towards your dream?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Do not postpone his dream. Configure media and systems around them to translate their intentions into action instantly. Jumping at every opportunity that is in line with its purpose and vision.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Keep the momentum. No matter how you get the eventful life, commit themselves to act at least one day. Even the smallest acciones-hecho below a new idea, reading one page or make a phone call - can begin to add.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Most projects are small leading to his biggest dream that can give you pleasure Meanwhile? If the dream is to run a marathon, train for a first fun running locally. And find a way to measure your progress. Track those little WINS - for writing in a newspaper or saying to a friend.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
Most people did not believe that they can live their dream. Anyone has its own system of beliefs, believing that they can not make a living doing what they like, or feel that they don't deserve their dream. To avoid the pain of feeling can not have his dream, often people keep their so buried dream do not recall that ever had a dream.&lt;br /&gt;
Everyone has a dream! And everyone is destined to fulfill that purpose. Why wait?&lt;br /&gt;

Really need to achieve their objectives to be happy? Enter the "hootless" - where already been not give a hoot if accurate "picture" of your dream becomes a reality. Without interference from the ego boost, pressure and micro management, you have an opportunity better to be in the right vibración-espacio - to attract real happiness. When relaxing its control over the exact shape its future "has" they develop, give you the universe more flexibility in how can comply with your wishes.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
And at a higher level, what happens if our true task here on Earth is to simply be that we're in our essential nature - with or without expressing our specific objectives? What do these three things have in common? &lt;br /&gt;
The ability to provoke one of the most haunting questions in the library of human introspectives:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
"What on earth am I going to do with the rest of my life?"&lt;br /&gt;
While I can't pretend to answer to this question for anyone other than myself, I can offer those in this position some basic tips on how to ensure that their future turns out as bright as their class valedictorian said it would be.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Take Time To Create A Map&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Too often, when faced with a major (or even not so major) life decision, we tend to either take the first decent choice that presents itself or we allow circumstances to choose for us by default - putting off the decision until the inexorable current of life sweeps us past the turning point. As you can imagine, this is not the best way to get what you want out of life. But the options we are faced with in life can be so wildly divergent, or so deceptively similar, that it is difficult to know which turning to take. Wouldn't it be great if we had some kind of road map that would help us know which paths to follow and which to pass by?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Below are five questions that everybody should ask himself or herself before starting out on any new path. The answers to these questions should then be used to guide decisions and to direct actions - when a choice comes up, simply compare the various options with your stated desires and choose the option that takes you closer to (or at least moves you the least farthest away from) your destination - your stated goals and desires.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. What does success mean to me?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Be very specific. "I want to be rich," is not an answer - just what does "rich" mean, anyway? Are you thinking of a set number? And if so, why? Or is the term "rich" a substitute for certain freedoms and opportunities that you view as coming only with money - and by limiting them to being accessed only through money, are you missing out on other alternative pathways?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some more specific alternatives to "I want to be rich," depending on the individual, might be: "I want to have enough net income to meet my current financial responsibilities without strain, plus have time and money left over for travel," or "I want to be able to comfortably afford a jet-setting lifestyle in New York City," or "I want to spend 4 days a week at home with my kids," etc.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You should try to come up with at least three answers to the question of what success really means to you personally, with each one reflecting a different facet of what you feel makes up a truly successful life. And keep the money issue to just one statement - after all, such things as personal fulfillment, spiritual meaning and other essential needs and values cannot be solved, acquired or even influenced by money.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
One of the biggest obstacles to success is that most of us have never consciously explored what that means to us, aside from some vague and nebulous idea of fame, fortune or other worldly success. Knowing what success really means to you - what you hope or imagine that these generic definitions of success would actually provide and how you want those things to physically look like in your life - allows you to weigh your choices more accurately.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. What are my non-negotiable needs?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
List all the things that you envision as inescapable parameters of a successful and enjoyable life. Family, travel, no debt, pleasant work environment, social status, contributions to society, spiritual involvement, public acclaim, love, excitement, comfort - any or all of these, and any others you can think of are legitimate needs that when not met create an environment of stress, want and disempowerment in your life. Knowing what you are not willing to do without makes the relative values of different options clearer.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. What are my non-negotiable boundaries?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
List all the things that you absolutely do not want present in your life. If the idea of working in a standard hierarchical office environment makes you ill, put that down. If you can't stand the thought of living in a cold climate, add that to the list. If being poked fun at about your physical condition or other attributes makes life unlivable, note that as well. By knowing what you will not tolerate, many choices become much easier to make. Plus, it allows you to set down rules and policies about who and what you will invite into your life and the standards of behavior you will, and will not, tolerate.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. What are my key values?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Spend some time searching your soul to come up with a list of your basic values, creating a life around which would make you the person you want to be and allow you to live the life you want to live. Are you the type who values honesty, clean/green living and a deep love of nature above all things? Or are you more of a 'comforts of home', family and fun kind of person? Do you value charity over letting others find their way on their own, or is it the other way around? Knowing what you truly stand for is a vital component of good decision-making.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
5. What do I want to be remembered for?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What legacy do you want to leave here when you pass on? What do you want people to say about your life and you as a person? What do you want to be known for? What would you like your obituary to say about you? Knowing where you want to end up makes choosing the path to get there, and keeping track of your progress, infinitely easier.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Key Points To Consider&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There are three key points to keep in mind when you are faced with making life-changing decisions.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. Look before you leap.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In life, as in commercial marketing, "Buy now before this opportunity is gone!" is almost always code-speak for, "Buy now, before you have time to read the fine print." True, from time to time real, honest-to-goodness, amazing, once-in-a-lifetime offers do come around. But if you have laid down a foundation of well-considered choices and clear-minded focus before this happens, you will have the presence of mind and strength of purpose to know when to jump and when to pass, and be much more capable of telling the difference between a missed opportunity and a close call.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. Life is no longer a "one chance per person" event.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The times, they are definitely a'changing, and one of the best things to come out of that change is that we now understand that people change as well and that this is not only normal, but expected. The career or life that suited you perfectly in your 20's will most likely not fit the middle-aged you, no more than the same wardrobe or lifestyle would. Sometimes this is merely the result of the normal process of personal evolution we all go through as we age and mature, and sometimes it comes about suddenly in response to reality-shifting events and life-changing transitions such as living through a traumatic event, losing a job or getting married.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
However change comes, be prepared to go with the flow. Don't worry about "all that time I spent in grad school," or what your friends and family will say. In the first instance, there is no such thing as "sunk costs" in life - 90% of nearly any education or life experience is 100% transferable to new situations and new outlets. In sports they call it "cross-training," and an athlete doesn't consider his or her training complete without in. In the second instance, well, if they love you they will want you to be happy and if they don't love you, then who cares what they think? Besides, they're not the ones who have to live this life - you are.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Also falling under this heading is the admonition not to trade a good life now for some nebulous "better tomorrow," such as spending your life zombie-ing through a career you hate for the promise of a pensioned retirement. All too often, these "tomorrows," if they ever do come, are no better than the "nows" you wasted. And as often as not the stress of living an unhappy life permanently cripples or even kills people, physically or otherwise, well before they can get to their imagined golden "tomorrow."&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. Trying to find your "one, true purpose" is a waste of life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We are all put here on this earth for any number of reasons - some big, some small and most of which we will never understand or even realize we've participated in until well after they've become distant memory. Spending too much time trying to scry your "true purpose" in the tea leaves of life can take your attention and energy away from creating the kind of life that would actually support the accomplishment these purposes in the first place.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A far better is alternative to create what I call a "Groundhog Day-Proof Life." Based on the Bill Murray movie in which his character has to live the same day over and over, this concept involves creating a life that reflects your values, offers you opportunities to challenge yourself and is fulfilling enough and just plain pleasant enough so that if by some strange cosmic fluke you became trapped in any given day of your life, it would be a good thing rather than a tragedy. Living this sort of life virtually ensures that you will be who and where you need to be to fulfill any purpose you may have been sent here to accomplish, while at the same time providing you with a wonderful and rewarding "rest of your life" in the process.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Summary&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Getting the most out of life isn't about living "right." It's about living well. FOR EVERYBODY?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You may or may not be suprised to hear that not everyone in this world is always aware of how they fit into their community or what they want to do with themselves. There are many people who have such amazing minds and can accomplish so many things yet they are never sure of what direction in life they would like to take.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
From our studies of excellence and successful people we can see that each person who considers themselves to be successful and peaceful within themselves all have this outcome for who they want to be in life. In fact it goes a step further than that because they not only know who or what they want to become but they can describe it to you in explicit detail. They have images and sounds in their minds that accurately show them what they are going towards and with this they build a tenacious resolve deep inside to become this all successful human being. Even before they achieve their successes, on their way down the road to their various goals they experience comfort and total peace of mind as they are getting closer to that dream with every passing minute.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
TRUE SUCCESS&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Walter Disney is known as a famous cartoonist and for making Disney World and Disneyland. His dream was to become a cartoonist and he made his dream come true. Not only did it come true but DisneyWorld today is one of the most renowned and spectacular cartoon producers ever! That is the product of knowing your outcome. In fact not to long ago at a news conference a reporter asked representatives of DisneyWorld what they thought Walt would have said about Disney World today. Their reply was along the lines of - "What do you mean? He saw it first!". They realised that it was all made possible because of one mans dream and in that dream he saw exactly what he was going to produce - his very own Disney World.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Another example of this is Bill Gates. From the very beginning Bill always knew his personal outcome. He wanted to come up with some software that would be used to run every computer in the entire world. Some dream! Did he make it come true? Well I think we can safely say yes he did because MS Dos and the Windows operating systems have been implemented on more than 95% of the worlds computers. How amazing is that? He didnt even come up with the software to begin with, he purchased the Dos system from IBM in the early days for little over 35, 000 dollars and now hes the richest man alive. That is some by-product of one teenagers dream.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
STRATEGY&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
However, before we can see our lifes dream come around like our friends Walt Disney and Bill Gates, there is a need to establish what our desired outcome really is. Where do we want to be? Who do we want to become? What is it in life that is really that important to us? We need an answer to these questions to grow in life, its vital to have direction in order to feel fulfilment and real satisfaction in your life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So lets get to the specifics, how can we know and begin to develop our outcome? In order for us to look at what your personal outcome is for your life and who you want to become you need to think about your desires for life and what you believe is a must have/be or what is a could have/be. To start thinking along these lines, do the following exercise with a pen and paper and see what you can come up with.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1. Remember back to when you were young and when you were just starting to realise that your life is yours and you can direct it any way you like. Remember the times that the adults in your life would ask you what you would like to do when you grow up. What was your answer? At the age of 7 or 8 what did you want to do when you became a grown up? Think about it for a moment and see that small you thinking "Hmmm, what would I like to do?".&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In your minds eye bring that image of what you wanted to do up close and make it bright and colourful, really see what it was that you wanted to do. Take your time, for some this does not come easy. Once you have a large bright image of what you wanted to do in your minds eye, think about what that job or role would have meant about you as a person. For example would it show you to be caring, intelligent, humble or would it show you to love people or that you are explorative and open minded? Take some time to list the things that this job you wanted to do would say about you as a person.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once you have a list of things written down, think how many other pursuits in life could lead to having the same fundamental characteristics as the job you desired when you were younger. What else could you do to become that person that you always wanted to become? How else can you achieve your lifes desires and goals and to truly feel fulfilled in yourself? To add more juice to the things coming into your mind right now try going through the second step in creating a well defined outcome for your life.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2. Now is the time to really let go and be silly. Use your imagination in this step like you have never used it before. Dont allow beliefs about how the world really works stop you from exploring every avenue of life in this exercise.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What I want you to do now is to imagine that everything you do in your life from now on will be 100% totally successful. Nothing will ever fail for you from this point onwards in your life. Now from this position of power, make a list of as many different things you would like to accomplish. What would you do, would you buy a yatch and sail the world? Would you find a cure to a fatal disease? Would you make it your mission to move towards world peace? Would you burn all your clothes and get a new wardrobe and become a new person, an excelling person who loves his/her life? Write down all the things that you would like to do if everything you did was totally successful. List them all and leave nothing out. Nothing is too silly or mad or impossible for this exercise. What would you do? Think about it. Write it down.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3. So by now you should have two lists and be able to see yourself doing them in your minds eye very vividly and colourful and bright. If not just spend some time looking over the lists and practice seeing yourself already accomplishing the things noted down. Notice how the pictures look in your mind and how that makes you feel.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4. In this step you need to go through your lists and pick out just 5 things that will affect your life for the better. That will move you towards your goal of who you want to become and give you the results you truly deserve. Carefully consider each item and weigh up the time lines before committing to it as a goal for your life. Select just 5 things so that you can give complete time and energy and remain focused on pursuing your lifes outcome.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This four step process will enable us to identify the meaning of who we want to become and give us the images in our minds of what life will be like when we have accomplished them. There are some important factors when establishing our lifes outcome which need to be addressed if we are to remain juiced about it or stay motivated about it through the duration of acquiring the changes and the desired results. These factors can easily be remembered as follows:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
i) Stated positively in terms of what we want. The human mind does not comprehend negatives. What do I mean by this? Well for example try not noticing the sensation in your stomach right now, or try not thinking of the colour blue. Its pretty much impossible because you first have to know what it is you are not thinking about the then replace it with something else. The human mind works using positives so dont state goals such as I dont want to smoke anymore. Rather state something like I want to become a healthy vibrant individual with lots of energy and passion for life. Stating it this way and using this to form your images of your desired results will drastically increase your chances of achieving your lifes outcome.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
ii) Described in sensory based language. Now that we have stated our outcome in positive language we can now ask "What will I see, hear and feel when I have my outcome?". Doing this will help us to realise when we have fully realised our desires for our life. Close your eyes briefly and see the pictures of what it will be like when you achieve your desired outcome. Listen carefully to your surroundings as you realise your goal and see how that makes you feel inside. Doing this will setup your nervous system to continually look forward to achieving the goals and drives you towards them until achieved.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
iii) Self initiated and self controlled. Although you can control your own mind and emotions you cannot control those of others. So, for example, it would be futile to base outcomes on changing your spouse or parent(s). You must be in control of your desired outcome and only you can know how and when to achieve it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
iv) Appropriately contextualized. We need to build our outcomes for our lives so that it fits into all the appropriate areas of our lives. If we over generalize our outcomes we may find that they are inappropriate in some areas in our lifes. Think about when, where and with who you wish to have this outcome. Do you want it in all places and without limitations?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
v) Maintain appropriate secondary gain. All of our present behaviour provides us with some positive values and outcomes. It may not always be obvious but there will always be a positive intention behind the behaviour for example a smoker will get some positive feedback from the experience of a smoke despite its destructiveness on the body. You need to ensure that your outcome would be desirable in your entire ecology or system. For example ask yourself what would you loose if you achieved your goals? Would you loose any personal time for yourself? Would it hinder your relationships with your family? Would you have to give up anything that you feel is important to have your success?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
vi) Build the needed resources. To have any desired outcome we need resources. If someone cannot clearly imagine themselves having the outcome it is often an indication that they do not have all the require resources. What do you have now and what do you require to achieve your goals? Have you or anyone else you know ever done this before? Where can you find more information regarding your specific sensory based and well defined outcome?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
vii) Ecology check. In order to achieve anything in life you need to ensure that it fits your entire system, your family, your work, your friends. Does it fit who you are or who you want to become? Ask the following questions and think about your answers before committing to the results you desire: What will happen if you get it? What wont happen if you get it? What will happen if you dont get it? What wont happen if you dont get it?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
CELEBRATE&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
By now you should have a well defined, sensory based and ecologically sound outcome for your life. You already knew deep inside what you wanted but perhaps it has never been an appropriate time to think about it like this before. Now you should go and celebrate. Congratulate yourself and start dreaming about how you are going to start your journey to building a new, totally satisfied and truly peaceful you.&lt;br /&gt;

But over the past 5-10 years, hard evidence has been produced which is having its effect on the scientific skeptics. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dr. Karl Pribram, a prominent American brain surgeon, sees the brains neurons “outpicturing” the physical universe, similar to the holographic process. He suggests that our brains are exposed to the entire concept of the universe in the same way that any minute part of a hologram contains basically the same information as the whole. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
British scientist, Jacob Boehm came up with the same Holographic Theory and had it published in a prominent scientific journal. But probably most amazing of all is the theory that British physicist Rupert Sheldrake has proffered. If his theory is proven correct, it will rival Charles Darwin’s Theory of evolution in its magnitude. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Basically he has proven repeatedly through laboratory controlled experiments that different species of animals appear to be “plugged” into a dedicated intelligence field which is universal to that particular species. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For example, when enough mice in a group have learned a maze, they ALL suddenly know the maze – whether they have run it or not! It now appears, after a BBC television experiment, that if enough humans have learned something, then it becomes easier for all humans to learn it. Sheldrake calls this shared intelligence the morphogenetic field. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There is an interesting parable about his called the “100th monkey” relating to an apparent observation made on a remote Japanese Island. A very bright female monkey on a small island was taught to wash sweet potatoes in the seawater. She then taught other members of the tribe to do this. When approximately 100 monkeys had learned this procedure, many other remote monkey tribes started washing potatoes in the same manner. But the interesting thing is that these other tribes were situated on other remote islands and also on the mainland. That is, they had no possible way of acquiring this knowledge, other by some form of intuitive universal “sharing”. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The BBC in London tried out Sheldrake’s Theory on 8 million of their viewers. They showed on prime time TV, a difficult puzzle that only a very small percentage of their viewers were able to solve. Then the correct answer was also given on prime time TV. Shortly after, the same experiment was repeated by a TV network in another country. A far higher percentage of these foreign viewers were able to get the puzzle right the first time. As the puzzle was in the form of a universal pictorial concept, language and customs were not considered to be a factor. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The BBC and Sheldrake concluded that as the correct answer was now existing within the human morphogenetic field then the human race now “knows” the answer. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Basically Sheldrake’s Theory explains “intuitive” functioning to a degree. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What Sheldrake is saying is that there is a “larger” mind for each life-form and each individual life-form “programs” that larger mind. The theory might be laughable except for Sheldrake’s acceptance in the scientific community and also the BBC experiment. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
But probably the most startling (and easily repeatable) experiments came from Cleve Backster, a polygraph (lie detector) expert. Operating from his San Diego, Californian laboratory he found that plants react – at a distance – to human thought. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He initially connected his polygraph equipment to a Dragon Plant to test for possible “plant stress”. He decided to generate stress by burning the plants leaves and sure enough the polygraph machine registered a strong reaction. But he hadn’t actually burnt the leaves – he had only intended to do so! He had thought about it with emotion and intent! &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Skeptics who tried the same experiment without genuine intent couldn’t get it to work. Backster went a step further and totally shocked the scientific world. He scraped human cells from a volunteer’s mouth and connected these to his polygraph and medical EEG equipment. He found to his utter amazement that these cells reacted instantaneously to the donor’s emotions, even when they were geographically separated! White blood cells were found to be particularly susceptible to emotion. (This may explain for the first time why people with strong positive emotions have better health). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
