I managed to mess up my Microsoft Office program and I can't open it.

Each time, I tried to open a Microsoft program an error saying there is something wrong with the setup controller. So I went looking high and low for the solution. I didn't want to uninstall my program at first but in the end, almost all of them mention the same thing.

But when I did finally decided to uninstall, guess what? I can't. Had the same error.

Lastly, I found this very simple solution.

1. Find this file.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12

2. Move 'OFFICE12' to your desktop.

3. Then Reinstall your Microsoft Office.

4. Try opening your Microsoft Office program again eg: Words/Excel/Outlook etc. It should be okay now!

5. Delete the "OFFICE12" file on your desktop.

It works like a charm for me. And I hope it works for you too.

In fact, somehow my computer works faster after that.

But nowadays there is a lot of user friendly software in the internet that you can easily download and use on your own. Many are freeware with the option of paid upgrading. But for personal or home use, the freeware are just as good.

This post is mostly targeted for those using Windows but I think some would work perfectly with Mac as well. Click software name for download links.

1. Free System Info Tools

Before you start going on self maintaining your computer, I would advise on looking at the system info. AIDA 32 and Everest Home are two well recommended freeware but both had been discontinued. Meaning you can still download and use it but there are no longer updates available and might not function well on newer Windows version. You can opt for BeLarc which is still updating and can be use for Window 7. But it would not have the same capacity as AIDA 32. System Information Software 2010 (SIW) is another good alternative to AIDA 32 but it was noted to be bundled with OpenCandy which caused some users to be wary. Read about OpenCandy here. Two other currently updated options are PC Wizard 2010 and Fresh Diagnose. Another that had been well recommended by users are Speccy.

Personally, I would not recommend system info tools for those who are not computer savvy and would rather to have less complicated solutions. So just download if you would like to learn more on your system.

2. Free Cleaning tools

Computers will accumulate a lot of data that are mostly not needed over the years. So you would need cleaning tools to ease the system and let it runs smoothly again. There are file system cleaners, registry, secure file erasers and all in one solution.

CC Cleaner is a well known software and had been recommended by many users. It also has other function such as uninstaller. NCleaner is also a similar option. You can try Auslogic Disk Defrag and Defraggler, that defrag your computer much faster than normal and Wise Registry Cleaner which primarily focus on registry.

3. Free Uninstaller tools

When we uninstall certain software some files might still be in the system that can’t be detected by the original uninstaller. Over time these files will accumulate and clog the system. I would advise to use the uninstaller first before using the cleaning tools as your registry will change after installing. Favourite freeware are Revo Uninstaller and IO Bit Uninstaller. Though you have to be careful as the uninstaller runs deep into the system and suggested some files to be deleted. These files can be a very useful and deleting it could caused the whole system to crash. So if you’re not sure of the extended files you can choose not to delete them.

4. Free All in One Utilities

There are pros and cons of having separate tools. The pros are separate tools are smaller in size and would function much better as it target the main functions such as cleaning or uninstalling. The cons are you probably had to install other programs as well.

Nowadays, many software developers opt for all in one software. There are many that are free and function as good as their separate counterpart. CC Cleaners and Revo Uninstaller have more than just their primary functions. Or you could try Advanced System Care, though feel the size are quite large. WinUtilities are also a good option. But there is one that had been recommended by many users; Glary Utilities which is much smaller than ASC and quite similar to WinUtilities.

5. Free Antivirus

Though antivirus are not part of the maintenance but it is important to have one for the system. Users recommendation are AVG Free Edition 2012, Avast Free Antivirus, Avira Antivirus Personal and Panda Cloud Antivirus Free Edition.

Personal recommendation would be either Avast or Panda Cloud. AVG are quite lightweight but some users commented that the security is lacking for the free edition. Avira are larger in size and those with an older not so well maintain system might find it crashing from time to time. Avast also quite large but users review had been quite good. Panda Cloud is the slimmest as it actually works outside your system. But some users complaint that it doesn't actually catches anything.

You can also choose to install spyware, ad-ware, malware removal. Actually this is a good option if you’re using a light weight antivirus or you wanted to test how good are your antivirus anyway. Users recommendations are Malwarebytes Anti Malware Free and Spybot-Search and Destroy.

What is running in my own system.

I use Speccy for my system info as I find it is pretty lightweight and have the necessary info without being too complicated. I have Revo Uninstaller and CC Cleaners but most of the time I just use Glary Utilities. Been using Avast for quite some times and it had been excellent. Though if I was running some heavy program I had to turn it off. I've used MalwareBytes from time to time. But since Avast had been doing its job, I use it quite rarely.

If you have anymore recommendations or updates on suggested freeware do leave comments.
But nowadays I'm on Facebook almost everyday, so yeah, I would recommend that.

Funicode is a straight forward, simple site, I think developed by the famous TechTV guy, Chris Pirillo. Just key in some text and different types of text will come out; upside down text, mirror image text, squinty text...just leave it to Chris to come up with really strange fancy name to describe the text type.

Easy to use, Funicode is just one way to add spice onto your Facebook updates, Youtube comments and might get followers to really focus on what you've written on Twitter.

Check out Chris Pirillo videos below or just go to http://funicode.pirillo.com/
My name is Robert Stanford. For the last eight years I've been working closely with a US Diplomat in Nigeria and who had become my closest friend. Tragically, a week ago he had been brutally killed. But before his death he had asked me to protect his family and some classified documents. To my surprise, my friend had somehow accumulated million of dollars over the years and I fear it might have lead to his killing. Those funds seem to be directed from prominent Nigerian who are also involved in the recent tribal wars. Soon they might be able to steal it & my best friend family will have nothing. Now, I need your kind sir assistance to provide just your account number so I could deposited the funds with a clear understanding that I will gives you around 10% of the total millions should things goes well.

You do not need to pay me anything though I desperately needs your help. However, our banks might request from you a nominal transfer fee of $147.00. This is not a hoax. We have UPS postage number, photo of war torn country, names with f..actual ID, phone numbers if you're lucky and I am a man of God.

Apart from that you can also enlarge your penis with our special products. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a penis in the first place.

And, as we know that you are looking for ways to make money online, what better ways than to do a simple data entry works or just processing some e-mails. You’ll get paid almost instantly. Just look at the smiling face of my neighbor, who is a housewife who recently lost her job as a CEO of a public listed company and had become a millionaire in one week since starting this program. It is so easy that you don’t have to have the knowledge of using the computer at all. In fact, you don’t even have to know how to turn on your computer. All for a mere $15 to start of. And if you don’t agree, we linked you to another page that gives you a cheaper rate.

Yes, we also have the latest news, that you had won a lottery somehow even you never bought one. To claim it just pay a small processing fee because the lottery is from United State and you happen to live in South East Asia.

Now, we really need your help to support our cause to stop Microsoft from buying the internet. In the name of free speech, justice and love, do include your e-mail address in the list below so when it reached ten million Microsoft will know how serious we are.

Not forgetting also, Bill Gates the richest man on the planet also giving away money to those who forward this e-mail. Its an effort of the good half of Microsoft on doing research on internet usage. And, wow, just like last week I got my first paycheck.

Don’t worry. We won’t use your e-mail to send scam and hoaxes. Remember, that we are victims of a war and needed to sent you some money. God bless you.

I first encountered it on one of Chris Pirillo or Lockergnome Youtube video. He is my favourite tech guy so I was interested what made him excited. I have not used SSD yet so I’ve googled it out and pick some interesting pieces of article. I chooses both type of reviews, good and bad so readers have more understanding of the upcoming drivers.
Its actually not that new but its picking up pace now and touted to replace HDD in the near future. Read the full article by clicking at the bottom of each quotes and also check out Chris Pirillo video. I can’t wait till SSD became something of the norm worldwide that I could buy it extra cheap. :-) "

A solid-state drive (SSD) is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data. An SSD emulates a hard disk drive interface, thus easily replacing it in most applications. An SSD using SRAM or DRAM (instead of flash memory) is often called a RAM-drive." ~ Wikipedia "

Compared to traditional hard disk drives, an SSD is capable of delivering--and I quote from the article--"superior performance, more consistent responsiveness, increased battery life, superior ruggedness, quicker startup times, and noise and vibration reductions." And as the price of flash memory continues to fall, more PCs and laptops will eventually be sold with SSDs as opposed to Winchester--or rotating--hard disk drives." ~ Fiercecio "

Even if the supply right now seems to be large, flash SSDs still are a curiosity found at the very low end (think of entry-level notepads with 8 to 32 GB of low-cost storage) or at the high end. Enthusiast notebooks such as Lenovo’s X300 ultra portable utilize 1.8” Samsung SLC flash SSDs. Apart from that, the volumes being sold are still rather pathetic; after all, how many people are willing to spend several hundred dollars on a 32-64 GB drive?" ~ Tom's Hardware

*Recommended readings. "The good news is that after an initial dip in performance, SSDs tend to level off, according to Eden Kim, chairman of the Solid State Storage Initative’s Consumer SSD Market Development Task Force. Even if they do drop in performance over time — undercutting a manufacturer’s claims — consumer flash drives are still vastly faster than traditional hard drives, because they can perform two to five times the input/ouput operations (I/Os) per second of a hard drive, he said." ~ Chrunchgear "

This year, SSD evolution had remained incremental, until now. More and more players are entering this space. Intel's release certainly livens things up, and makes SSD potentially far more interesting for both consumers and enterprises alike--especially given the potential power savings SSD drives can offer." ~ PC World.About.Com So are you ready for the emerging of SSD? Illegally. Yes, those sites do exist and an internet novice could easily google it. Though it would take times to really find the right file without some virus attached to it or the ever annoying spyware. I’ll get to that topic on my next article.

The free softwares that I’m talking about here are known simply as freeware or no-nonsense software that you can download absolutely for free. Most of this freeware are quite small in size and easily downloadable. If you don’t like it just uninstall it. I would suggest you to use Revo Uninstaller, which is also a freeware. It could dig up further into your system and delete some of the small stuff that could clogged up your hard disk.

Some of them are introduction to a larger and upgraded version that you could choose to buy. Some of them are shareware or trial versions that you could use for a while. As for safety, most freeware from a decent website are virus and spyware free. And those who are good at using virtual drive can install and test it there.

Freeware are unlimited. There are freeware for all sorts of stuffs; hard disk maintenance, data recovery tools, memory booster, calendars, system tweaking, accounting, word processors…the list are endless. I’ve got one installed to prompt a rather ghastly screensaver of blood dripping on my monitor. Though it was interesting but I wasn’t really keen on screensavers. So in times, I uninstalled it.

There are freeware that I used for quite some times. Though it might seem outdated and very basic to some but I found their usefulness are unrivalled. Like SequoiaView; a freeware that shows which files take up most of your drive space. I found some old media files that I just lost tracked off and with Sequoia I know which files to delete. Revo Uninstaller is one of my favorite. It even uninstall software that lost its’ uninstall pack and delete it form my software list. Lockergnome Tips are the products of the ever lovable Chris Pirillo and the interface is as simple as a help page.

There are many more but my aim here is to list some of the best sites for freeware.
So enjoy!

To some going through a website could be confusing and tedious. Especially the things or the information that we need are just not available on the web pages itself.

In times like this, those who needed further clarifications would be looking for any sort of ways to contact those who are able support them. Either by phone calls, e-mails or currently live support.

The best support would be live support but most website does not provide live support. The usual one would be contacting by phone calls or by e-mails. The one that I’m going talk here is about online customer support through e-mails.

Being someone on the net for many years, it does perplexed me sometime if the customer support does not answers me in a few hours after I’ve sent my e-mail. I questioned why it took so long for them to answer me. It’s just a simple e-mail with simple questions. What kept them so long?

So I was grateful for my few months stint working part time for an online customer support in a company dealing with hospitality industry. Maybe its not the usual customer support that I dealt with being somebody who also built and promotes website but it gave me first hand look on how customers e-mails are processed.

The first thing that surprised me was that there are a lot of e-mails coming in. The e-mails came in around a hundred plus per day. It would reach one main e-mail handled by a Supervisor who in turns distributes those e-mails based on each team member experience. Being new, I was given e-mails with simpler enquiries. But even that to reply it must be based on guidelines given and one must be careful not to break any terms and conditions provided.

These are important as many failed to understand that e-mails are written correspondence that represents the company itself and any discrepancies can be used against the company. Any legal matters that arises or proceeds to make the company loses monies will not be a good news for the person handling the e-mail.

So setting aside frustrations, anger or just simply amazed of some idiocy of some enquiries, customer support would reply with less emotion as much as possible, as straightforwardly as much as possible. Being the person in front of the monitor, answering customers e-mail, I could finally empathized with online customer supports. And at the same, ever being the customer itself, I could empathized with some customer who writes the strangest e-mails.

To customer support, my personal advice is to know clearly of the guidelines and set up your own standard principle in answering the e-mail. What is your goal in answering e-mails? What do you want to convey to the customer? Check with those who have more experience and I would suggest once you had a good ‘mentor’, follow that ‘mentor’ as you would find that other team members might have their own ways to answer e-mails.

Remember, guidelines are important. But it does not act as an ‘iron law’ because customer supports must realize they are dealing with people not robots. Knowing the products and services thoroughly is a must. And also have clear understanding of what would happen if wrong information were conveyed. Having a sense of responsibility is a must as if the customer is right in front of you.

To those who wants to contact customer support through e-mails or had been doing that, my advice would be, please do research on the information provided in the website first before sending some simple yet frustrating e-mails. Read the terms and conditions first before blaming the company on misdirecting and sending e-mails with colourful languages. Remember one thing. Customer supports are humans too who have their own problems, their own emotional mumbo jumbo. You might find your e-mail thrown off somewhere unanswered or deliberately answered wrongly.

When this happens, not only it gives a bad impressions on the company but it will frustrates you as you find yourself unable to get your questions answered or your problems solved.

As in timelines, standard e-mails are given around 48 hours to be answered. Some enquiries took less than five minutes and some took longer and even could reach an hour. So imagine what one customer support would feel handling around 30 to 50 emails per day. Plus other tasks that they are given to do.

Every e-mail are recorded in a special software that records all activities one customer made. These are used to look on customer profiles, previous activities, problems or any notifications on the customer. And yes, customer can be blacklisted too.

Other problems that customer support faced includes servers glitches, last minute changes in the website, double e-mails, computer downtime and few more things.

But good online customer supports do have a strong systematic process that made everything looked and felt seamless.

Another online support that I love is live support. Actual live support. Some website talks about having live support but actually customer support by e-mail. One live support that I’ve used and is quite a good example of live support is one run by IX Web Hosting. You can check out the website at this link here and click at the live support. Ask just about anything on the services (even if you’re actually not interested) and have a firsthand experience on live support.

Maybe, there would be times in the near future, I could be handling live support too.
And you'll see another post here.

If I wasn’t mistaken, the glam-up book was one of Robert Kiyosaki famous book and the one people should read more is ‘The Long Tail’.

The former reiterated that ‘The Long Tail (TLT)’ wasn’t given enough respect as it should have. That piqued my attentions but not enough to get me actually go out and look for it. Yet somehow, in the next few months I found myself the owner of TLT e-book.

And after reading it I had to agree with the commenter views. Though it’s a book basically about economy, somebody who is not an economic major could easily understand it.

In simplified word, TLT is a chart line, whereby there would be a tall body followed by a long tail. Now, most would not bother with the tail as it is not at the peak point. In fact it would be at among the lowest point, maybe a point ‘1’. Yet TLT is as it says it is a very very long tail that seem to stretch out endlessly. Now, you might not see where I’m going with this.

Let me gives one example. Let just say the peak point is ‘10’ than it goes down till it reach ‘1’. Now ‘10’ seems to be in much better position than ‘1’ isn’t it? But what if the tail at point ‘1’ stretch 100 times without going negative.

Now, let just say during the peak of the market you sell one item at the price of $10, well you get $10. When the fad is out, you need to reduce your product price to $1. It doesn’t seem good doesn’t it? Yet what if that same product would sell at the lowest price 100 times more, how much will you earn?

$100.

Now, what would interest you more, the peak point or the endless long tail?

I believe that the long tail applies to a lot of things and that’s why I’m writing it here. Are you an internet marketer? Are you a blog writer? Are you an information provider? Or dealing with online products?

Can what you ‘produced’ generates long tails that gives an ongoing income or will it just become a fad that dies out eventually?

‘The Long Tails’ uses mostly online music for example. So its kinda ironic that Elvis are richer now then when he was still alive.

PTC is the acronym for paid to click whereby web surfer can earn some cash for viewing websites, reading e-mails or signing up for other programs. There are hundreds of PTC in the world wide web and a lot of them end up to be scams or handled by webmaster that are not serious. In the end, the PTC just closes down leaving web surfer with a really bad experiences.

However, there are a lot of decent PTC out there that pays web surfer. I've been through a few of them, read about users review and found some common grounds that helps you to choose the best PTC that you can use; either as surfer or advertiser.

1. Look at the advertisements.
Good PTC will have a variety of sites or advertisement. I would suggest that you stay away from sites that only advertise their own ads like promoting their premium plans, their own forum or asking to always vote for them. These PTC are usually new and sadly disappear really fast. They usually pry on premium membership or by selling referrals.

2. Look at the pricing per click.
Good PTC will have a well balanced pricing. Web surfers are easily seduced by those PTC that promised to pay high amount per click. But if their advertisement are quite cheap and the profit ratio for them are low, how will they survive and paid their member or web surfer. This PTC are usually short lived, with long paying process or have the tendency to reject their member during payment time.

3. Look at their payment process.
In this day and age, its unbelievable if the PTC will need more than 30 days to process payments to their member. This only shows that they needed the money to roll for other reasons or even to get enough time to look for reasons to reject the member. My word, stay away from these PTC! Good PTC would have different mode of payment. Some gives option through PayPal, AlertPay, E-Gold and even checks mailing. More stable PTC would usually have their payment process done in less than 30 days. But for those more than 30 days looked into their forums and member reviews.

4. Look at their support system.
If you sent them e-mails, how long would it takes for them to reply. This will show you are being handled by real web masters. Check their forum too and what their member says. This will help you to decide whether to continue using the PTC or not.

The above four are the basics guidelines for choosing a good reliable PTC. The following are the PTCs that I've used myself based on the four guideline. You can sign up under me and get updated or you can always make your own research and join under others. Good luck in your money making campaign!

There are a few PTC that I'm in but are still under my watch list. When they seem to be good I'll put it up here. Look to my coming post on how to make money through PTC.

Though as far all the infos goes, its not actually new as it is a rebranded version of DoubleClick's Performics Affiliate Network which they bought some times in March.

There are mixed reactions to this news. Some are negative because they do make some good income out of the referrals. Most found this is quite predictable as many, publisher and advertiser, had not find much success in doing Google Ads. Even those who are making quite a buzz about their income are admitting the declining interest in Google Ads.

As for the not-so-brand-new Google Affiliate, for the time being it will be targeted on U.S market. Hope it will move to other regions soon. As a fan of Google, I would really like to see what the new concept will do.

Google being Google will probably tackle it to enhance Web 2.0 experience. So looking forward to it.

But turning the other sides of the coin, it means I have to do some minor-but-troublesome changes to all my blogs.

I hope Google will not failed the fans and the new concept will garners good response from both advertisers and publisher.

A more detailed article can be found here.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhyWeWeb

The day my computer died.

Get ready for an over-dramatized reenactment of a computer gone to waste by a person who finds dating a computer is much more entertaining than actually dating a real person.

Well, I was going to dramatized the event around two weeks ago when for the first time in my entire computer experience life, my computer was hit by something I could not handle and I could not repair. At that time I was ready for my boo hoo story but luckily (for readers) I decided to wait till I calm myself down & write something worth reading.

I had maintain my computer well, put up the best defense, clean up periodically, upload from only the trusted source and with great confident that nothing could ever go wrong. Cause computer crashes only happens to people who are not in love with their computer and not to closeted geek like me. I'm Romeo to my Juliet. (No wonder my computer finally died.) Tsk Tsk Tsk...

Pushing the drama aside, what happen was I left my computer overnight & had done so many times to download something. I shut it down & later when I turn it on, the worst message came out. Something is missing from my explorer. Windows unable to load. Error. Error. Error. Cannot activate. Missing data. From the error itself I know I'm facing a problem only the higher Guru can solve. But I tried to save it. Manage to start Window. Defrag. Scan. BIOS scan. My system restore failed and my safe mode take hours to open. And when it did, nothing can be done. I applied whatever knowledge I have.

To no avail. My computer getting sicker. In the end, I did something I had never done before. Call a computer technician & request for a complete reformat.

But apart from the entire reprogramming of my computer, I did not lose my important data. Read on to know more & hope what I've written can help you save your day.

The Suspected Culprit
As I've mentioned, I only downloaded from a trusted source. Everything that I download I would looked up on reviews & comments to make sure that they are not malign in any way.

Except for one. Safari; a browser specifically made for Mac but recently adjusted to Windows. Heck, for those who are Mac lovers would know what is Safari. Baited by the fact that it upload 1.6 times faster than Firefox, I download it to my Windows. Ignoring the reviews and the strong warning from Windows itself that Safari has a destructive hole that permits others to take control of a user desktop.

Thats a clear cut warning and I simply ignore it cause I thought surely my Avast would protect me.

Three days later, my desktop was invaded. Though I can't really pinpoint that it was Safari fault but how my Windows desktop gone into coma mode coincide with the warning. So the strongest suspect is Safari.

How I save my day?

1. By having an external pocket drive. Mine is a 80GB Maxtor that I only plug in when I need to back up my important data.

I really recommend that every PC users nowadays should have an external drive. It doesn't really cost that much if you weigh it with all the goodies it provides.

However, don't plug it all the time because like any drive it can be infected. Plug it only when you need to use it.

2. My important data is not under My Documents. Remember, if you need to keep some important data in your PC, don't keep it under My Documents. Because this folder would be among the first to be hijacked and attacked because it was a common settings in all computer. And you might not be able to retrieve it if something bad happen. So create a folder on your desktop and label it properly. An independent folder also helps you when you need to backup or transfer it to your other external drive.

3. Going to Safe Mode to retrieve data. Press F8 continuously the moment you restart your computer. There would be a clicking sound and then you can release it. You would see a different log in page where you can choose 'Safe Mode'. In my case, what attacked my PC actually override the 'Safe Mode' log in page. If this happen to you, press F8 and then 'TAB' so you could see the booting process. Press F8 again. It should brings you to the choice of boot page. Choose 'Safe Mode'. From here, you can get all your important data to your drive.

Remember to be patient. If your computer was attacked by something very 'annoying' it would take some times for your 'Safe Mode' to open. But do not exceed one hour. If it does, restart again to 'Safe Mode'.

Most of the times, if you could do System Restore, your problems would be solve but as in my case when the System Restore failed, transfer your data and called a technician.

Moral of this story.

1. Don't download something when it got bad reviews.
2. Don't put your data in My Document or even My Computer cause Worms, Trojans & Virus just loved these places.
3. Invest on a good external drive. Take note on the word 'good'. Don't just buy any external drive because its cheap.
4. Know that every computer have the potential to crash. Backup. Backup. Backup.

So, my PC have a new inner mechanics after the operations. Its like it had gone for detoxifications. Or somehow survived dengue by drinking 100 Plus. Its like the current boyfriend decide to go for a new fashion.

Yep, its different but its still the same old, same old and I'm still madly in love. :-)
http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhyWeWeb

Undelete your delete.

Do you ever wonder what happen to all the files or data that you dump into the recycle bin? Actually I know one government that banned Youtube from government offices.

But thats another story. This is for people who loves Youtube & other video uploading sites & wants to save it in their computer without the hassle of installing or buying media converter. Should I see myself as an investigator lurking into other people net activities & maybe discovering who they really are? Or should I be someone who warned others to be careful in what they leave behind while surfing the net?

I guess I do both.

Using Google search type intext:"name" eg:intext:"jimmy cho" and you might find a myriads of topics with the particular names. However, what I find interesting (& slightly appalling) are that there are some people who leaves their phone number, home address, identity card number for all others to read. Even funnier if you found somebody who you thought are the silent type & you get to see them in 'action' or finding them bashing you up in other forums. Personally, I actually discovered somebody who had been lying to me for months. And that wasn't a very fun discovery.

But it just goes to show again the power of the internet.

Names are not the only thing that can expose a person identity. The most common for Google veterans are using the person user id or e-mail. Its funny what you can get by just searching on ID such as "prince80" or "sexylady101".

For myself, I've been actively online for a while now & my life is basically an open book. As for skeletons, I have a few of them in my closets and some of them actually walked out on me. And skeletons are just skeletons. They don't really scare me as much as a lady with long jet black hair with a tendency to wear white bed sheet.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ClIbtIXKXec/SB1vahSFw7I/AAAAAAAAAN8/W782ODu2mUU/s320/internet_dog.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5196432046456947634" />

So don't leave your house address or your phone number on the net or telling people that you are what you are not. Or dishing your boss. Or posting your naked picture with a fake ID. Unless you just don't bother what kind of attention you're getting.

And for parents, please teach your kids. It wouldn't be good if your kids start posting private conflicts on the net.

Related topic
Live webcams from all over the world

http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhyWeWeb

Revo Uninstaller ; An amazing Freeware

Have you ever been to your Add/Remove Software trying to remove unused software only to find that the uninstaller not working? Its an amazing software with very little running space. The best thing about it, is that it lets you have a look on all the excess files & gives you choice whether to delete them or not. And it can easily be done even you had error message saying that you can't uninstall. That is so cool. An interface that bypass another interface.

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ClIbtIXKXec/SBy0HhSFw6I/AAAAAAAAAN0/iMHOFvnJDZM/s200/revo.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5196226111365039010" />

I personally used it and highly recommend it.

You can install it from here.

Related topic
Live webcams all over the world.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhyWeWeb

Featured Video : Spiderman 3 How It Should Have Ended.

Though the movie Spiderman had long pass gone with emo Peter Parker on its trail, HISHE or How It Should Have Ended created another masterpiece parody.

However, they've directed their user to Veoh. Check it out here.. I thought of deleting this post but after a while, I decided it to be for the memory of the short lived Stage6, that would have been seriously awesome if the DivX discover the way to manage it properly.

Thank you.

If you are an Otaku or an anime fan like me, then you'll probably love this site.

Created by the people who are behind DivX, Stage6 are slowly garnering its followers
especially anime fan.

Just search for the title, browse through, click and choose download.

However, you have to keep in mind a few thing.

1. Because of the high quality, the file size is bigger, so make sure you have enough space. Also it would take a longer time for you to download it, so make sure you have a good fast internet connection. But the wait is worth it.

2. Sign up & subscribes to some of the uploaders. This will help you find the next episode you want to download instead of going through 'search' all over again.

3. Just go through all the functions and in no time you'll find its quite easy to navigate.

4. You can download the DivX videos player or codec but you'll find the file size are quite large. Opt to remove some of the suggested software later.

5. To play without using DivX player, just right click the video file & use 'Open With'. Choose your own DVD player or even Windows Media Player. Set to 'Always choose the selected program...' if you like to always use that player. You can see the video extension will change.

6. Last, but not least, the videos are for sharing and not selling. So no Ebay!

Enjoy DivX Stage6!
<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_ClIbtIXKXec/R6is-jks2_I/AAAAAAAAAD0/gr1Ab9FWFVo/s200/070507+Stage6.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5163567163481316338" />

P.S : Not only anime videos, other high quality videos can also be found here. Personally, I've tried of them...and yeah, some of them works. Guess it depends on the locks itself. Anyway, give it a try but make sure its your own lock :-).

A combination of six videos on how to pick different types of locks. Including so called lock-picked-resistance laptop locks. You have been warned.

Each anime will have its own page, its own summary and its own list of episodes.

Though the quality is not that good but better compared to some videos uploaded on Youtube. Good enough on my 17" LCD. And due to the smaller size the loading was fast. But you can opt for full size.

If you're to download anime in high DVD resolution, you can check out my entry here.

To its a hidden diamonds among animes lover. Ironic that I found about it whilelooking for the remaining episodes of 'Monster'; about a crazed killer Johann playing cat & mouse with his victims. Did you notice the restaurant you frequented have a camera? Look up. Its somewhere on the wall.

Did you put security camera in your home so you can watch what's happening?

Did you go to a shop and just simply act silly?

Did you put camera to watch somebody in secrets?

Did you leave your webcam on while you're naked in your room?

Are your CCTV, web cams, cameras online?

Are you sure nobody else are watching?

Or if you're into Google Search, just do little tiny search :-()
On the 'Search' space type any of these strings.

You will see some listing coming out. Basically these are unsecured videos and I'm not really sure these owners knows that their videos are actually online.

Anyway, this tips is from a closeted uncertified geek. So, what do you think a veteran geek aka super hacker can do to your webcam?

Secure your camera. The simplest way is turn off your computer or turn away your cam when you're not using it!
http://feeds.feedburner.com/WhyWeWeb
