For me the proof of something extraordinary happening with Roswell lies in what happened with Major Jesse Marcel. It is not what he took that matters but what he did with what he took. We can corroborate his statement based upon his actions. You see, no one has to my knowledge psychologically analyzed Major Marcel’s actions after finding the wreckage. I assert that his base reactions are those of a desperate individual trying to prove himself to those who mattered most in his life, his immediate family. His actions were indeed highly consistent with a sane individual faced with highly extraordinary circumstances. I also contend that Marcel, knowing the military as a person of his experience should, knew that when his superiors found out about this wreckage they would do either one of two things:

1. This material would go on perpetual display around the world as Moon rocks later did and no living being would ever touch them again.

2. The material would be secreted away by the military and released at such a time as the military saw fit. Unfortunately for us, this latter hypothesis may be correct.

So what Marcel did was an almost involuntary human response when one seeks validation from those closest to him on an impossible discovery or event. In a man’s home, he needs to be validated. Imagine what Marcel’s home life would have been like had he not taken proof home first, to his beloved wife and son. I would imagine that desperate act was the only way he was able to live through the years of what would have otherwise been an unbearable life. This act of showing the proof to his family is something others who’ve had close encounters will go to their graves wishing they had done.

One other thing if I may, I have noticed that many people that interview Ufologist’s ask this question;

Why would the military hide and conceal the fact that UFO’s exist?

I would contend that if our Government acknowledged that fact, they would have far too many on-going questions to answer from the American people. Of course, as the years progressed those questions would become more and more sophisticated in their detail and analysis of this new world situation, you know, with visitors from beyond. Finally, I say the answers to those questions would be routed to the conclusion that the Earth is really not ours in the way we would like to think it. That mankind has only been allowed to remain here so long as they didn’t prove a threat to earth’s environment or its true occupants a suggested by Ivan T. Sanderson, author of “Invisible Residents.” In any event, there seems to have been some revelation our military has discovered that is worth keeping from the populace at large, for our own good.

Could the truth be so terrible that we may not want to know?

Maybe our military does not know the whole truth; maybe they have just befriended these beings and through that cooperation have garnered the favor of some shared technology. Maybe in favor of agreeing to force certain issues among the earth populace, say like the riddance of Nuclear weapons?

The culmination of my personal assessment falls within the following two factors;

1. That Extra-terrestrials for the most part are benign and represent no danger to us as it relates to invasions and or world domination. From this hypothesis, one can say we may even be fondly looked after and cared for, for reasons only they know. This assumption also has two parts;

a.) Energy expended by them to look after us would mean there was a need for them that we continue to exist. That need may be genetic in nature if you take all the aggregate reports of abductions and what happens to people during said abductions.

b.) The other part may also be explained in part in our bible, whereas a truly superior being is responsible for creating us. This was done in the presence of other beings whose charge it was to look after us. One might also infer that events like the comet Shoemaker-Levy and the Russian space probe Phobos 1 serve as an example that some invisible intelligent force looks after mankind from beyond our scope of perception.
