Last Minute Valentines Day Ideas

Valentines Day is tomorrow! Somehow this day has crept up on me, if you are at a loss for what to do for the one you love this holiday; check out this list of things you can do last minute and very Frugally!

1.) Say I Love You in a big way!
Four years ago I cut out letters and taped them to our garage door, so that this is what he came home to. (and yes I know they look like a 4 year old cut them out). I had neighbors come out and say what a great idea they thought it was. My husband laughed and was a little ~~mortified~~ ~~humiliated~~ embarrassed, but thought it was very sweet!

2.) Make a Customized Wine Label
One year I had this wine label made, it was called Cupid's Select Rose'. I had this one made but you could easily make your own on your computer.

3.) Use Items around the house
Sometimes the items we see everyday don't seem romantic, but with three little words you could turn them into romantic gestures. Use items such as;

Letter Magnets - Spell how you feel!

Kids Playmat - I once took out the letters and spelled I love You, I used the zero as my second O.

Kids Toys - have an old Lightbright Toy?

4.) Make a Photo DVD

Take old photo's of you and your loved one and burn them to a DVD, add music and pop some popcorn.

5.) Have a picnic on the floor
One year we were so short on time, that we bought Chinese food, laid out a blanket and had a picnic on our living room floor. It was very low key and romantic. We even used a picnic basket we had on hand, this was definitely a last minute gesture; but one of my favorite Valentines Day memories we've had together.
