Hash Tag

Today we have released a new project called Hash Tag. Hash Tag is an automated system which scans various online sources to generate a map of common topics (or "tags"). It then seeks out an appropriate description of the tag and scales it in proportion its current popularity. Hash Tag available from here

AndrOCS - The Beta is here

Yes, the Beta release of AndrOCS is finally here. If you would like to download the beta simply grab your free code from here and download AndrOCS from the Android Market. If you would like more information on getting started with AndrOCS please view our tutorial here. Please note that all feedback for AndrOCS should be posted in the AndrOCS forum and not here as a comment.

Thank You, Update and Apology

Thank you to our "First Wave" of Beta testers, and to everyone who has waited patiently. Let�s clear something up: A few people have been wondering why our "First Wave" of Beta testers haven�t publicly posted any information on Andros. This was due to a non-discloser agreement which we asked our testers to agree to, before downloading the app. What Next? We are currently fixing a few bugs� which were reported during the first testing period. Once these kinks have been ironed out; the beta will be available to a wider audience. Our Promises/Apology: Here at Widget Media we realized that we have neglected to update our site and keep you informed. There are two reasons for this: The first is we both have full time jobs. Secondly we are working all available hours on AndrOCS. However... This is no excuse, which is why we promising to update the Widget Media website more often, and use our twitter accounts to post progress updates.

AndrOCS - First Set of Testers

Firstly, Thank you to everyone who filled in our initial beta survey. We are currently sifting through the data we've collected via the survey. Users who have been selected for the initial beta testing period will be contacted before the end of this week with details on how to access the beta section of our site, and download that all important beta version. As we've mentioned before, shortly after the first set of testers have reported any major errors and/or bugs in the system we will open the beta up to a wider set of testers. So if you aren't one of the first beta testers, don't worry, you wont have long to wait.

First of all, thank you to everyone who has responded to the AndrOCS beta testing survey so far. Secondly, anyone who still hasn't responded to the survey, but still wants to be part of the beta program you have until Midnight (UK time) on Friday 17th September.

AndrOCS Beta - Coming Soon

We have just recently finished the development of our new beta testing centre. This will allow us to support the large number of volunteer's that have offered to test the software. If you would like to test the software and haven't yet put your name forward, please leave a comment in the box below. Shortly after the beta testing period starts you will be given a username and password, this will allow you to download the latest beta, view installation tutorials and give that all important feedback. So when will it start? In the next few days we will be releasing a short survey. The information gathered from this will allow us to select first set of beta testers. Shortly after the first set of testers start to report feedback we will open the beta up to a wider range of testers.
