POTUS Election 2016: Voting 'FOR' the Whole World's FREEDOM

2016-11-08T10:43:00.001-05:00

Hello, Friends! This post features a Twitter Moment widget I created about the two candidates for President of the United States (POTUS). This Twitter Moment widget is titled Pro-America because we need a POTUS that is actually 'FOR' and not 'AGAINST' the FREEDOM of America (South & North), and therefore the rest of our World - ANTARCTICA, AUSTRALIA, AFRICA, ASIA and EUROPE, FREE from and of SHARIA-LAW!!! All of us have to prepare ourselves to work together, globally, to stop the spread of SHARIA-LAW and its TERRORISM. PSALM 37 (Speak it, Decree it, Believe it!). Also, see related articles and images 'Thwarting Plans of Evil & Violence, Globally' and 'A World So Loved, HE Sent His Son!'

Pro-America

UPDATE 11/13/2016: Thank-you Friends, for your prayers and votes; we have POTUS-Elect Trump, one that has not been groomed to be Pro-Sharia. Now, please continue to pray for all of the leaders and citizens of America; we are doing the same for you and every location in the world!

No One Should Be Consuming these Banned 'Food' Products!

2014-06-05T05:06:00.000-04:00

Hello, Friends! Today's infographic shares information about some of the nasty, harmful, toxic substances that are still contaminating food products in the USA, and perhaps, other places in the world! Beware and be aware; eliminate these nasty, harmful toxic products from your daily meals and snacks, please. Certainly, do not buy them for yourself and do not buy them for others. When we stop purchasing all of this faux-food and use those same funds to purchase REAL, safe-for-consumption food the super-greedy, corrupt, faux-food industry will get our message.

The Portable, Embeddable Webpage

2014-05-13T02:47:00.004-04:00

Hello, Friends! Today's 'widget' is About.me's embeddable webpage. About.me is a free service that allows a person/you to create a beautiful one-page website that’s all about that person/you. With this service it's possible to upload a photo, write a brief, personal biography and connect one's favorite websites to show the world the scope of your online presence, which is "the big picture of you" as About.me states. I appreciate having access to such a wonderful widget because it is a great way to share the About.me webpages of other people, in addition to sharing my own. It is such a convenient and attractive way to promote others' and their talent-works, that I am looking forward to utilizing it even more than I already have!

The About.me embeddable webpage is a portable replica of one's personal About.me page. One of the great features about this embeddable webpage 'widget' is that it is customizable with two choices of Site Style and five primary features which can be mixed in a number of combinations that the site's creator chooses! The two Site Styles are 'Use About.me Style' or 'Use My Site's Style '. The five primary features are 'Image', 'Name', 'Headline, 'Biography', and 'Apps'. Additionally, the widget is designed to work on WordPress, Tumblr, Blogger and may work other sites, as well. Read more »

Arthur & Guinevere wallpaper by 'Unfinished Tales'

Hello, Friends! Well, 'Merlin' fans here are two more videos, 'Merlin: Arthur & Gwen "Maxwell's Whenever, Wherever, Whatever"' and 'Arthur & Gwen At Last.wmv' by elonda78436 at YouTube, that are now among my list of 'Merlin' favorites!

The first video and its tune convey how Arthur feels about Guinevere. The love he feels for her is very much, "Whenever you need me, Guinevere, I'll be there. Wherever you need me to go, Guinevere, I'll go. Whatever (good) you need me to do, Guinevere, I will do.". That is a very deep, abiding love (rather than lust, lust and more lust). That is sooooooooo romantic!!

Ever After: A Cinderella Story
(DVD)

Hello, Friends! Today's videos feature one on my favorite romance stories, "Ever After: A Cinderella Story" and the delightful 'intended rescue with proposal' scene. These videos are the creation of pbbcanada and fairiewannabe24, at YouTube.

In 'Ever After' Prince Henry (Dougray Scott) proposes marriage to Danielle (Drew Barrymore), his true love. If you've already viewed the movie, you already know how delightful the entire scene (and movie) is! Below, one video gives you the actual scene and the other focuses on the words, the dialogue of the intended rescue and the proposal. Enjoy!

Hello, Friends! O.K. fellow Merlin fans here's a new video, by elonda78436, I discovered this past week while working in my YouTube account. It features the tune "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera and reminds us, via the selected scenes, of the mightiness of this Prince Arthur. He's outstanding, to say the least! We ladies appreciate our 'princes' being so strong in 'battle' & so gentle with us! Also, the video demonstrates the theme of the lyrics, which is, this Guinevere truly loves no other. Neither the gorgeous & kind Lancelot, nor the gorgeous & kind Gwaine (portrayed by Eoin Macken) are her true love. No, Arthur Pendragon is the only one she truly loves. Ahhh, faithfulness is so wonderful! And mutual faithfulness is the best!

The Lion of Judah in 3D: Judah the Lamb

2011-06-06T16:15:00.005-04:00

The Lion of Judah

Hello, Everyone! As you probably know by now, I love animation / cartoons and have since my childhood, especially Disney animation. I love to share new animation I've discovered with you, too! Late last week I learned of a new, 3D animated movie, 'The Lion of Judah', which was released to theaters on June 3rd, this past weekend. Based on the trailer I think its a great movie to view with your entire family.

The story of 'The Lion of Judah' is about a lamb named Judah (no, not a lion) who is taken by some people to be a sacrifice. His six furry and feathered

Dynamic Rotating Photo Cube

Rotating Photo Cube

Hello, Everyone! Today's widget is a really nice Rotating Photo Cube from PhotoCube3D. I've seen the photo cubes around the Internet and people are using them for various purposes. One really neat use of this widget is to display book covers. You can use an image of your PDF/e-Book and use the cube on your site as a cool way to feature and draw attention to your book(s).

With this photo cube you can use one to six images (.gif, .jpg, or .png formats). For example, if you want to use only one image you would enter that image in each of the six image upload boxes. Also, if you want to use only two images, you would upload both images three times each, in the image upload boxes. Again, you may use one to six images whether it's the same image six times, six different images once, or any configeration that totals six images.

Other customizeable features are of this Photo Cube widget are 'Glow', 'Alpha', 'X AutoRotate' and 'Y AutoRotate'.

Glow alters the amount of brightness. Also, you can choose a color for the 'glow'.
Alpha alters the amount of transparency (the images will be solid or transparent).
X AutoRotate rotates this photo cube vertically (around an invisible x-axis/horizontal axis). Also, you may enter a number above zero (0) to increase the rotation speed. If you do not want the cube to rotate in this direction, un-check/de-select the X AutoRotate box.
Y AutoRotate rotates this photo cube horizontally (rotates around an invisible y-axis/vertical axis). Also, you may enter a number above zero (0) to increase the rotation speed. If you do not want the cube to rotate in this direction, un-check/de-select the Y AutoRotate box.

Lastly, you may move your mouse pointer over the cube to alter its movement. I hope you enjoy using this widget! I think it is a simply delightful bit of technology!

This is what the cube looks like before images are added to it:

Country Dance

Good day, Everyone! I hope you're experiencing a blessed, blissful life! Today's post features the dance talent of a lovely family.

Note: The tempo of the music is wonderful, yet I apologize for the 'he_l yeahs' and such that the singer uses to express her point. It is a place, for sure. And some use the word as a 'curse'. So, you may turn the volume off, if you prefer. I'm sharing the family's dance skill, and I think you'll enjoy their performance!

What is a Widget?

2011-03-12T01:11:00.001-05:00

Book: 'Developing Web Widget'

'Widget' Defined.

Hello, Everyone! Many people ask, "What is a widget?" Well, in the field of computing a widget is a stand-alone application/app that can be embedded into third party sites by any user, on a page where they have rights of authorship such as a webpage, blog, or profile on a social media site. In other words, a web widget is a small software application that can be installed by an end user. After it is installed/embedded it executes/performs within the web page. Other terms used to describe web widgets include: portlet, gadget, badge, module, webjit, capsule, snippet, mini and flake. Widgets are typically created in DHTML, JavaScript, or Adobe Flash.

Widgets often take the form of on-screen tools such as news feeds, tv episode players, music players, video players, clocks, event countdowns, auction-tickers, stock market tickers, data calculators, flight arrival information, daily weather and so on. Widgets come in many colors, shapes, sizes, and two major types. The two major types of widgets are Web widgets and Desktop widgets. Web widgets are intended for use on (embedding in) webpages and have major implications in areas such as site performance, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and backlink campaigns. Desktop widgets are embedded on computers, and do not impact SEO, nor webpage performance. For example, Widgetbox generates Web widgets that can be used on almost any website. However, Apple Desktop widgets can only be added to the desktop of your own (Apple) computer.

Some widgets are designed to allow users

You can choose a feed from your tags, groups or events, or from your uploaded or favorited SlideShare content. You can give it a custom title, as well. Simply customize it and copy the resulting code. To create a personalized playlist of your own content, you'll need a SlideShare account. You can customize the feed for a SlideShare Playlist widget via the following choices in the 'Select feed to appear in your playlist' section:

My Uploads
My Groups/Events
My Tags
Any Tags (specify) > Choose Layout
Choose from > Customize Playlist title (as mentioned above)

Once you're done, you can click on 'Preview changes' to see an actual functioning example of the widget you've just customized. For the widget below, I selected 'Any Tags (specifiy)' and typed in butter. The resulting widget features shea butter content. This is just one example of the vast tag content available on SlideShare. When I typed in butterflies the resulting widget featured a large number of slides featuring butterflies in one manner or another. The amount of content the resulting widget features depends on the choices you make in the 'Select feed to appear in your playlist' section.

'Merlin' Series

Hello, Everyone! Today's post features a Hulu 'Advanced Video Panel Widget' and 'Video Panel Widget' for the BBC show, 'Merlin'. Currently, season / series 3 of 'Merlin' is airing on the SyFy channel, here in the USA. Season / Series 3 has already aired in the UK. This widget features full-length videos, as well as clips, of the show. The 'Advanced Video Panel Widget' is featured in this post. The 'Video Panel Widget' is featured in 'Camelot Series, 'Merlin' Clips and Full Vids Widgets - Part 1', on this blog (because whichever one is on top is the one that renders fully in the post, when both are present).

The widget is customizable, as follows:

Orientation: Horizontal or Vertical
The number of thumbnails (images): One, Two, Three or Four

The widget is available in two versions:

'Video Panel Widget' - the clicked / selected video will play off-site / away from your site
'Advanced Video Panel Widget' - the clicked / selected video will play on-site / on your site. It features an integrated video player that utilizes Javascript so that viewers can watch the video without leaving your site. It will not be visible on the page you want viewers to see it on if your hosting company does not permit the execution of external Javascript.

'Merlin' Fans, be sure to check out the 'Merlin' Montage I've created. I think you'll enjoy it!

An Aside:

While I was onsite I read some of the viewers comments about the 'Merlin' show's 'Guinivere' actress, and one in particular was very rude toward the actress; the commentor didn't think she should be cast in the role due to his/her opinion of her outward appearance. Several others agreed with him/her. I wonder what we would think of their appearances if we could see them? No matter what we think, there is no excuse to be rude, nor unkind.

Morgana & Guinevere: Friends and future sister-in-laws

I can see that the actress portraying 'Guinevere' is a natural beauty (a person's skin hue / color does not prevent me from noticing this, as it does for others). I think she does a really good job portraying this role, as an actress. Also, as a maid, 'Guinevere' is not supposed to be a 'make-up beauty'. Therefore, having a natural beauty play this role is key. Some people are so accustomed to seeing images of 'make-up' beauty / 'make-up' handsomeness as in movies and magazines that they do not recognize natural beauty and consider a natural look to be plain and un-attractive. And, of course, to some people only certain skin hues / colors are beautiful. Being a fan of the show, I've viewed the behind-the-scenes clip of how this actress came to be chosen and, in a nutshell, they stated that during the audition they realized that she was exactly the actress they were looking for;she qualified.

Additionally, I'll state that many human beings pass judgement and share their opinions on the outward appearance, including skin hue / color, of other human beings and do so in a very rude and crude manner, to say the least. Ultimately, only one opinion matters and that is the opinion of the One that created the different skin hues / colors, our Creator. I've noticed that the red rose does not look like the white gardenia (and were not designed nor created to) yet, the red rose is equally as beautiful as the white gardenia, and particularly so to their designer / creator, the Creator.

To that rude commenter and those like him/her that only appreciate their own skin hue / color I want you to notice that the 'Morgana' actress wears a lot of eye make-up to achieve the 'Morgana' look / appearance. I've seen photos of the 'Morgana' actress without her 'Morgana' make-up and she, too, is a natural beauty. Both actresses, the 'Guinevere' actress and the 'Morgana' actress , are natural beauties even though they are wearing two different skin hues / colors. Both of those skin hues / colors are beautiful. Both of those 'race-colors' are beautiful, equally.

To all people that are looked down upon, and picked on because of your Creator-selected skin hue / color by other human beings wearing a Creator-selected skin hue / color, I encourage you to remember He thinks your skin's hue / color is absolutely perfect and beautiful for you. He obviously thinks you will wear that hue / color wonderfully! Furthermore, those that find it worthwhile to call someone else ugly and say rude, unkind things about others often are filled with hate, for others and for themselves, which is a self-imposed ugliness on the inside, flowing outward. Their opinions are worthless in comparison to the One that gave you that beautiful skin hue / color you are wearing. No matter what 'race-color' an individual of the human race is wearing, you can count on this truth, the Creator thinks it is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! I do, too!

Conclusion: We know the Creator likes gardens; think of Eden. So, we know the Creator likes flowers. Have you seen the huge variety of flower hues / colors in existence? It's safe to say that the Creator thinks more colors than white are beautiful. From His perspective we humans, with all our gorgeous hues / colors from the darkest to the lightest, look like various beautiful flowers of this big garden we call Earth.

To that rude commenter and those like him/her that only appreciate their own skin hue / color I want you to notice that the 'Morgana' actress wears a lot of eye make-up and lipstick to achieve the 'Morgana' look / appearance.

Furthermore, those that find it worthwhile to call someone else ugly and say rude, unkind things about others, often are filled with hate for others and for themselves, which is a self-imposed ugliness on the inside, flowing outward.
