1. Launch any browser and access router settings by entering http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar.
2. To set up the VPN server:
1) Click "VPN Server" on the Advanced Settings menu on the left panel.
2) On the "Enable PPTP Server" item, select "Enable".
3) Select type of Broadcast Support.
4) Select type of Force MPPE Encyrption.
5)
Type a range of IP addresses for the VPN clients. The example on the
screenshot below shows an IP address range of "192.168.10.11" to
"192.168.10.20".
*The specified IP address range can be from
192.168.10.2 to 192.168.10.254. As a VPN server, the ASUS router can
assign only a maximum number of ten IP addresses.
6) Input a username and password for VPN clients. A maximum of ten usernames and passwords can be added.
7) Enter a username and password and click “⊕”.(Expand)

See the screenshots Below :

3. Click "Apply" to save settings.

※To access the VPN server, users requesting for VPN access would
need the WAN IP address of the ASUS router. To check the WAN IP
address:
"(1) Click ""Network Map"" on the left panel.
(2) Click ""Internet Status"".
(3) Take note of the WAN IP address listed under Internet Status."

※
If your ISP is providing a Dynamic IP address to your network, your WAN
IP address may change even after applying the settings. Configure the
ASUS DDNS setting to set up a fixed domain name.
※ The Broadcast Support setting in 2-(3) allows broadcast packet transfers between VPN clients and local clients.
For example, the PC needs to send the broadcast packets to all LAN PCs to know which PC enables the Network Place Service.
The VPN client cannot send broadcast packets to the LAN while the Broadcast Support setting is disabled.
When
Broadcast Support is disabled, VPN clients cannot detect the PC running
Windows Network Place and will not be able to locate other PCs in the
network. To connect to PCs in the LAN, VPN clients will manually have
to type the IP address to connect to a PC in the LAN.
※In Step 2-(4),
administrators can set up VPN MPPE encryption settings and VPN client
encryption settings based on the table below:

Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 Wifi Settings & Configuration | How to setup wifi on Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562

Connect your newly bought Samsung Galaxy S Duos to the
WiFi or internet? Look no further, help is here.

Connecting to Wi-Fi
using your Android phone is easy. Once you save a Wi-Fi connection, the
settings of the same do remain in your phone and you don’t have to
connect to it every time. Your Samsung Galaxy S Duos will connect to the
Wi-Fi on it’s own whenever it identifies the network already available.

Steps to Connect Samsung Galaxy S Duos to Wi-Fi :

Tap the Menu button present at the bottom left of your Samsung Galaxy S Duos phone.

Go to Settings

Go to Wireless and network

Go to Wi-Fi settings

Select Add Wi-Fi network and the available Wi-Fi networks will show up.

Selecty your network. If it is an Open Connection, your Samsung Galaxy S Duos
will connect to the Wi-Fi directlt. If the Wi-Fi connection is a secured
one – you’ll have to provide the network key.

Your Samsung Galaxy S Duos is now connected to the internet. Enjoy!

To connect to a WiFi network

On Start, flick left to the App list, then tap Settings > WiFi.

Make sure that WiFi networking is set to On .

This ensures that your phone is
actively searching for available WiFi networks. If a network is found,
your phone will list it here and let you know whether it's an open or
secured network.

Tap the network you want to connect to.

Tips

Depending
on how your phone is set up by your phone manufacturer or mobile
operator, you'll be notified periodically when there are available WiFi
networks in your area. You can tap the notification to connect to the
network, or to turn off notifications. If you don't want to be notified
when a WiFi network is available, return to Settings > WiFi and untick the Notify me when new networks are found checkbox. When notifications are turned off, you can still check for WiFi networks by returning to Settings > WiFi.

If there aren't any WiFi networks listed when you're somewhere that you expect one or more to appear, turn WiFi networking off, and then turn it back on.

Some phones might not support WiFi, so WiFi network settings might not be visible.

If you want to connect to a secured network, you might have to enter a username and a password. If so, tap Done when you've finished.

Some
WiFi networks, such as ones you might find in coffee shops,
restaurants, hotels or elsewhere, may require you to enter a password in
your web browser before you can connect.

To disconnect from a network, tap and hold it, then tap Delete.

To connect to a hidden WiFi network

A WiFi network might be hidden,
which means the network name isn't broadcasted. In this case, it won't
appear in the list of available networks on the WiFi Settings screen and
a notification won't appear when the network is in range. To connect to
a hidden WiFi network when it's in range, you'll need to enter the
network name and password.

On Start, flick left to the App list, then tap Settings > WiFi.

Make sure that WiFi networking is set to On , then tap Advanced.

On the Advanced screen, tap Add , type the network name in the Network name box, then tap Add.

On the Sign in screen, type the password in the Password box, then tap Done.

Notes

The network name and password are case sensitive.

This feature might not work on your phone without a software update from your phone manufacturer.

Nokia Lumia 900 Wifi Settings & Configuration | How to enable Wi-Fi on Nokia Lumia 900

On Start, flick left to the App list, then tap Settings > WiFi.

Make sure that WiFi networking is set to On .

This ensures that your phone is
actively searching for available WiFi networks. If a network is found,
your phone will list it here and let you know whether it's an open or
secured network.

Depending
on how your phone is set up by your phone manufacturer or mobile
operator, you'll be notified periodically when there are available WiFi
networks in your area.

First we need to set up your username password for your WiFi router(netgear, bsnl) . Read the tutorial to setup your router to automatically connect to the internet . If you are wi-fi tethering your Iphone to be used as a router , you need not follow the above tutorial.

Steps to Setup WiFi on iPhone 5 :

Goto Settings , Select WiFi

Turn your WiFi to ON

Under WiFi Networks choose a network. Please note that your WiFi
router must be enabled and broadcasting so that your iPhone – iPod
touch can detect it here .

Select the network of your Choice . If it asks for any security key
/ WEP , enter the code for authorization that you have set up in your
router .

If you have a Hidden SSD , then you have to choose Other and then type the network name to add it on your iPhone 5 iPod.

Keep HTTP Proxy at Auto or OFF and IP address to DHCP to automatically assign IP address to your device

Keep Ask To Join Networks to On so that your device can automatically connect to the network when it is in range

The iPhone 5 is the greatest phone in
the world. It has top-notch hardware with a zippy new A6 processor and
amazing four-inch display. Its new operating system, iOS 6, is slicker
than slugs on ice. And its ultra-slim body, an all-glass and aluminum
enclosure, is a triumph of industrial design. There is nothing not to
like about the phone. It’s aces. Just aces.

And yet it is also so, so cruelly boring.

Yes, it’s better than the iPhone 4S or the iPhone 4 or just about any
other phone you can buy. It’s faster with a bigger screen and an LTE
antenna so you can suck up data from your carrier like Michael Phelps at
a table full of pizza. But mostly it is the Toyota Prius of phone
updates. It is an amazing triumph of technology that gets better and
better, year after year, and yet somehow is every bit as exciting as a
25 mph drive through a sensible neighborhood at a reasonable time of
day. It’s not going to change your life. It’s not even going to offer a
radically different experience.

It’s a weird paradox. The iPhone 5 can simultaneously be the best phone
on the market and really, really boring. And that has almost nothing to
do with Apple and everything to do with our expectations.

Apple slapped us in the face with the original versions of the iPod,
iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Air. Hell, even the iMac was mind-blowing when
it came out in 1998. No cables to connect! You just plugged it in! And
it was blue! BLUUUUUUUUUUEEE!

The iPhone 4S on the left, and the new iPhone 5 on the right. Photo: John Bradley/Wired

And for some time, there was a real sense that Apple was always going to
blow our minds. When Steve Jobs premiered the iPhone in 2007, it was
like tasting chocolate for the very first time. The iPad — enormous
iPhone though it may have been — was another epic adventure. And within a
few short years, Apple became the Simon Bolivar of technology
companies, rolling out revolution after revolution after revolution,
leaving the public sticking out our arms for more. Just. One. More.
Thing. Please!

But the thing is, Apple never just casually moves on to the next thing.
It doesn’t Sony-up and release new products for the sake of releasing
them. Instead, it keeps its product line focused, and meticulously
refines it year after year, making everything a little bit better. Which
means by four or five generations in, especially when it comes to
industrial design, Apple’s products tend to hit a sweet spot, where
changing them isn’t going to improve them. It might even make them
worse. (Hello, third-generation iPod shuffle.)

Without emergent inexpensive technologies to force or enable industrial
design changes (think: the way cheap flash memory changed the iPod’s
design or SSD made possible the MacBook Air) Apple has little reason to
shake things up once it has a product really nailed down. With the
iPhone, in its sixth iteration, things have gotten so good that Apple
does not change very much anymore. And so you get the iPhone 5 — which
basically looks like a longer, thinner version of the iPhone 4.

And, for that matter, it looks a lot like other phones from other manufacturers too.

To a large extent, Apple design fatigue can also be blamed on Apple’s
competitors. Everyone copies Apple. MacBook Air knockoffs are so
commonplace that they have become an entire product category in the
ultrabook. I mean, Christ, have you seen the new HP Spectre One? It’s
possible that you have but just didn’t realize it because it looks
exactly like an iMac. And for that matter, basically every phone and
tablet in Samsung’s lineup, and a whole heck of a lot of HTC models,
bear a, er, striking resemblance.

And then there’s this: Maybe smartphones themselves are becoming boring.
We’ve seen the future, and it’s glass and watches and augmented reality
and all manner of other devices. The most purely exciting phone right
now is the new Nokia Lumia 920 (in yellow!), both because it’s such a
departure from the iPhone and (let’s be honest here) because Nokia is in
disastrous trouble (next stop RIM-ville), and Windows Phone is its last
best bet–other than going back to pulping paper and making tires.

But at least Nokia’s Windows Phone has a narrative and an identity. The
iPhone no longer really has either, other than being the best.

Apple is going to shake things up again. It’s likely going to do
something amazing in the home entertainment space. It would be great to
see it getting into car dashboards or connected home devices–the
Internet of iThings would probably be pretty rad.

But the iPhone? It’s boring. And it’s probably going to remain that way
for the foreseeable future. It’s not bad, it’s just the march of time
and technology. Revolution becomes evolution. And that phone in your
pocket–or more to the point, in the store window–becomes just a part of
your life. It’s something you use, something you rely on. And then
completely forget about. And in its own way, that’s actually kind of
mind-blowing.

Expected Price in India :

16GB: Rs. 76,000

32GB: Rs. 85,000

64GB: RS. 1,00,000

Nokia Asha 302 303 311 Wifi Settings & configuration

Steps to follow :

1)From the Home menu-> ‘Settings'->‘WiFi'
2)If the Wi-Fi status says ‘Off', flip the switch to the right. The
status should change to ‘On' and the switch will fill up with colour.
3)It will be more convenient to check the box which says ‘Notify me when new networks are found'.
4)Your phone will now search for Wi-Fi networks.
5)When your network appears tap on its name to connect.

If it's an open network your phone will connect straight away.

If the network is secured you'll need to enter username and password
login details to access it - you should be able to obtain these from
your network administrator.

Note that even open networks may have a security layer which requires
you to enter login details into the phone's web browser before you can
go any further.

Some networks may be hidden, in which case they won't appear on the search list. You'll need to add a hidden network manually:

1.In the ‘WiFi' section scroll to the bottom and tap ‘advanced'
2.Tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen.
3.Here you can enter the hidden network's name and other details to add the network to your list.

Nokia E6 WIFI Settings | How to enable WIFI on Nokia E6

Step by step instructions for configuring Nokia E6 with WIFI internet of your laptop :

1. Make sure your internet is working fine on LAN.

2. Go to start -> Control Panel ->Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connections.

3. Right click on Local Area Connection icon and go to properties.

4. Now check the two boxes in sharing tab (For Vista and Windows 7, also select Wireless adapter for internet sharing)

5. Click Networking tab and double click TCP/IPv4 option .

6. Here you would see IP adress , Subnetmask and Default gateway just
leave it as it is. The important thing here is Preferred DNS server
address (for example 202.111.2.1) and Alternate DNS address (for example
202.111.45.1), note down both of them as we will use it later in Nokia
phone. Press Ok to proceed to next step.

7. In mobile go to Menu -> Ctrl. panel -> Settings ->
Connections -> Destinations -> Options-> Manage -> make new
destination naming it 123 or else.

8. Confirm the following settings :

Connection name : 123
Data bearer : Wireless LAN
WLAN network name : 123
Network status : Hidden
WLAN network mode : Ad-hoc
WLAN security mode: WEP
WLAN settings:
WEP key in use : #1
Authentication type: Open
WEP key settings:
WEP encryption : 128 bits
WEP key format : ASCII
WEP key: 1234567891234
(Press Back Button)
Homepage : None
Use access point: Automatically
NOTE: WLAN mode should be Adhoc and the WEB key should be 13 digit letters for example : 1234567891234

9. In the options -> Advanced settings do the following steps.
IPv4 settings:
Phone IP address : 192.168.0.2
Subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
Default gateway : 192.168.0.1
DNS addresses : (Press main Button)
Primary DNS address: (Same as in Step 6 of LAN settings for example 202.111.2.1) (Press OK)
Secondary DNS address: (for example 202.111.45.1)(Press OK)
IPv6 settings:(Do Nothing)
Ad-hoc Channel : Automatic
Proxy server address : None
Proxy port number : 0

NOTE: In the DNS addresses option put the same DNS addresses we have
seen in LAN settings of step 6. This is very important step because the
DNS addresses should be same .
I have just shown an example but you must write that of your computer.
10. Confirm this and we are done here with the Mobile settings. 12.
Now its time to make an adhoc connection in the windows. Go to step 3
and in wireless network connection icon -> go to Properties->
TCP/IPv4 and write the following addresses and click ok.
IP Address: 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask :255.255.255.0

11. Go to start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet->
Network and Sharing Center -> Manage wireless networks-> Click “Add “and then click on “Create and ad hoc network”.

12. Remember to check the save this network and then next and close .

13. Go to start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet->
Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connections and right
click on Wireless Network connection and select connect/disconnect. Then
wait for the connection to establish . Last step : On mobile open web
and when you would be asked for select connection , drag down and find
the Uncategorised option and there select 123. If you have followed all
the steps correctly you would be more than happy to see high speed
wireless Internet on your mobile. However still you see the delay in
appearing the webpage repeat the step 15 again , your connection will
surely be established. For desktop computer users i recommend buy
Mercury WIFI device for internet sharing . You can use multiple mobile
phones internet at the same time with a single computer.

14. Go to start -> Control Panel -> Network and Internet->
Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connections and right
click on Wireless Network connection and select connect/disconnect. Then
wait for the connection to establish . Last step : On mobile open web

Samsung Galaxy S2 wifi settings & configuration | How to enable Wi-Fi on Samsung Galaxy S2

Connect your newly bought Samsung Galaxy S2 to the
WiFi or internet? Look no further, help is here.

Connecting to Wi-Fi
using your Android phone is easy. Once you save a Wi-Fi connection, the
settings of the same do remain in your phone and you don’t have to
connect to it every time. Your Samsung Galaxy S2 will connect to the
Wi-Fi on it’s own whenever it identifies the network already available.

Steps to Connect Samsung Galaxy S2 to Wi-Fi :

Tap the Menu button present at the bottom left of your Samsung Galaxy S2 phone.

Go to Settings

Go to Wireless and network

Go to Wi-Fi settings

Select Add Wi-Fi network and the available Wi-Fi networks will show up.

Selecty your network. If it is an Open Connection, your Galaxy S2
will connect to the Wi-Fi directlt. If the Wi-Fi connection is a secured
one – you’ll have to provide the network key.

Your Samsung Galaxy S2 is now connected to the internet. Enjoy!
