What did I do in Poland?

I have been living in Poznan, Poland for 2 month now.
The reason is a Kaplan course USMLE Step 1 for evaluation of my medical diploma in USA.
When I pass Step 1 I will write more in detail how it is done, what is needed, how difficult or easy it is and what to expect.....

This is my Medical University Dormitory, a bit soviet feeling, but still very clean and well maintained.
cost : 2000 sek for 2 month, arranged by Kaplan administration staff.

In 2 month we went through all the essential premedical subjects needed for Step: physiology, anatomy, histology,embriology, pathology, pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry, genetics and behavioral science including all the little tricks needed to pass Step 1.

All literature was provided on a first day, there was no addational cost for it.

Kaplans "celebs professors" were just excellent, among them Dr Noto, Dr Turco, Dr Davis and Dr Sanchez are worth noting.

Students were mostly Americans studying in Poland and preparing to pass the exam to be able to practice as M.D. back home. There were also couple of Norwegians, one Swedish (me), couple of Canadians, Irish, Indians and British.

Make up Haul

Finally I tried make up from Catrice. It is rather cheap brand from Germany with very good quality. I really liked it. Cream eyeshadow are the best so far.
Foundation is perfect selection for a photoshoot. It does not contain SPF and that's why does not give any reflections ona a face - face does not look white like a "full moon" on a pictures.

Bioderma is a classic when it comes to facial care. Usually sold in pharmacies but rather impossible to find in Sweden. This one is Hydrabio formula for dehydrated skin : micellar water i use as eye make up remover and mouse for a face wash.
Highly recommended!!!

Antiwrinkle cream from Kiehls did not impressed me much, it does not hold what it promises and I don't want even write anything more about it...

Last one is a traveller set for brows from tweezerman. It is great. Tweezerman is the " Rolls Royce" when it comes to brows.

Kerastase: a classic for hair. This time I tried Elixir Ultime line. It is so so. 3 out of 5. Shampoo is great : wonderful smell, very economic in its usage, hair stays clean about 3-4 days. Does not give shine och softness. Hair mask: does not moisturize very well, does not leave much shine in a hair. Hair as such feel heavy and of nice quality though.

Ole Henrikson: is a story by its self: considered to be the best by many celebrities. Most of the products are great. I think I will make a separate post on it.

A few California sea lions began "hauling out" in PIER 39's West Marina shortly after the 1989 earthquake.
