9 A1, BC 3B, BM 4B.

I just felt unpleasant when I learnt my results were not straight A's, having done it for UPSR and PMR. After all these exams where I have been performing excellently (according to government standards). HAHA, it was just a little disappointing.

Come to think of it in a deeper sense, BC 3B was expected, BM 4B? Surprised. BM was used to be one of the "sure" subjects that will guarantee an A(my opinion).

Never mind, many students will envy this kind of results. Just felt that, I was just unlucky to miss out that two A's that will bring the glory of getting all A's in all of my government exams.

And not to mention, government exams and all of those BLOODY MARKING SCHEMES are just "a failed system in a failed country" - THE FAT ONE A.K.A Paparazzi. So I will be happy enough just to get through this 11 years of failed system in a failed environment in a failed country. So who those who are worked so hard but are disappointed in their results, think twice, life is just not about hardwork, luck will also determine the outcome. Hardwork do make a difference, just that it will raise the possibility of success, but the most important thing is not about the possibility of success, it is the possiblity of failure, it determines everything.

If you do not get a sastisfactory result, what will happen? Nothing!!!!!!!

So, get on with a life. After all, its just the past, dwell with the future!!!

ON WINDOWS XP

1. Open Notepad

Click 'Start' on the bottom left corner of the screen.
Click on 'Run', a window will pop-up.
In the Open: field, type 'notepad' and click 'OK', a window will open.
This is where you will copy and paste the results that we wish to collate.

2. Use your favourite web browser, go to the following URL: http://www.whatismyip.com/

3. Copy your IP address (eg. 212.58.224.138) as shown on whatismyip.com and
paste into the text file.

4. Click 'Start' on the bottom left corner of the screen,
Click on 'Run', a window will pop-up.
In the Open: field, type 'cmd' and click 'OK', a black window will open.

5. Right-click on the window title (the blue-colour bar on top) and select 'Properties' from the drop-down menu which appears.
A Properties window will open.
In the Edit Options, checked the 'QuickEdit Mode' and click OK.
'Apply Properties' window will pop up. Click 'OK' regardless of choice (it doesn't matter).

6. Inside the 'cmd' window, type the commands below (eg. 'ping -n 20 google.com').

Copy the outcome of the last 4 lines into a text file (in Notepad) when the ping has completed.

It will look something like this (this is a sample):

Ping statistics for 212.58.224.138:
Packets: Sent = 20, Received = 18, Lost = 2 (10% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 387ms, Maximum = 391ms, Average = 389ms

7. Basically what we need you to do is:

Ping Google by typing in 'ping -n 20 google.com' in the cmd window (the black one).
Collect the output and paste it into Notepad.

Do exactly the same thing with these commands and copy the output results into Notepad:

ping -n 20 bbc.co.uk
ping -n 20 www.theregister.co.uk
ping -n 20 mirror.switch.ch
ping -n 20 public.web.cern.ch
ping -n 20 mirror.pacific.net.au

Please type in the DATE and TIME before you save the text file with your
STREAMYX USERNAME as file name.

Sleeping In College?????

Why is it not good to sleep in college??????

1) You are wasting your money. It's not like school where you can just sleep because you don't pay a single cent to the teachers but at college, you have chosen what you want to study and sleeping in college class just makes you like a fool.

2) Bed at home is more comfortable than classrooms.

3) Distracting teacher's attention. You think by sleeping you will not disturb the class because you are not making noise?
NO!
Sleeping will distract the educator actually. They will feel dulan when you are not listening to their lectures

4) Setting a wrong example for others

5) Lectures are always important, not like school where 70% or the things we learn are rubbish

6) It is the wrong time to sleep

7) It is so bright in class

8) You will miss out on homework and assignment details

16 Jan 2009, MPO open rehearsal with Han Na Chang, Shostakovitch cello concerto no1.

After all this hype about this particular cellist playing the Shos cello concerto no 1, I decided to visit DFP despite a protest going on at the US embassy near KLCC.

It was FANTASTIC. All passages were very well played with the Shostakovitch style plus amazing technical ability. It was obvious that some of the MPO cellist were looking at her(missing a few notes) because she was just amazing. Amazing in the sense that the way she bow with such force but the sound was not cracked and the edge on each and every note was very prominent. Very very impressive bow arm technique plus involvement in every attack. It was almost flawless, just that the horn solo wasn't exactly with her and she had to slow down a bit to adjust(1st rehearsal, very impressive sound from the MPO actually).

Second movement was very lyrically played which I think will capture the attention of the audience for tomorrow's and Sunday's concert. It just gives me a feeling of the cold Russia and the people suffering from hunger.

I hope for a good concert and of course wish her to return and play again for the coming seasons with MPO.

P.s I saw a very famous fishmonger today!!!!!! Maybe he has a very different opinion from mine.

P o36, the parliamentary seat for Kuala Terengganu, who will win?

Pakatan Rakyat?
UMNO(there is no BN)?
or the independant(noob, waste 15 k just to gain some fame)?

This by-election will show how the people in KT as well as the country will respond to the war in BN(money politics, corruption) and PR (hudud, harmony between MP and leaders).

I am sure some dirty tactics will be used against PR because BN governs the country and has more funds for this election. I really wonder what are all these ministers doing in KT(Pak Lah, Najib, Ong Tee Keat), shouldn't they rule the country instead of involving in these politics? And I wonder how would the chinese community over there respond to the hudud issue?

Nobody knows who is going to win, but I can assure you both parties will give each other a real fight because when BN fails to win back Permatang Pauh, surely they cannot afford to lose another seat.

I hope all fence sitters will swing their votes towards PR and rally to a thumping victory on JAN 17.

School reopens today. What most important is students have to know why they go to school. School is a place to learn and also to have fun, so do enjoy yourselves in school as well as gain some really valuable knowledge although the education system in Malaysia is really bad.

As a student who has completed his high school studies, I believed that no matter how bad or boring you feel about your school, the good memories will always remain in your heart and you will appreciate it even more when you have left your school. It may be fun moments such as doing some mischievous act or even sleeping in class.

No matter what, we must always remember that teachers are always slaves to the current education system and we must not treat them too badly because some of them who really has the passion to teach(you can tell), just could not teach what they think they should because of the exam-oriented system which only focus on textbooks and local government exams(some of them are completely useless). This kind of teachers will just do everything they could, try different kinds of methods just to dig some information into our thick heads. I give my full respect to this kind of teachers who are just so dedicated although some students just think they are frauds who teach for the sake embracing the failed education system. Although we must also agree that some teachers who just teach for the sake of getting some salary just enough for living and do not have big ambitions or passion because they believe teaching is an easy way to live.

I think that most books do give us some relevant information which maybe useful in our lives but of course we must not study or even worse-memorize each and every single note in our books because most of the words are rubbish. A new year, a new resolution. Most of the students aim very high such as getting flying colors in their exams. Most of these targets are often not achieve because the moment they set a specific target, they do not foresee the unpredictable and of course this will lead to what you call ‘failure’. For me, a person’s life must be balance. It may be balance between studies and fun time although the duration of these two different things will not be the same. It will help if you always face every challenge with optimism and of course determination which gives you the extra boost in whatever you do.

I wish every student that thinks that they are ‘in hell’ for another ? years good luck and all the best. Most important, enjoy while you can. Coming out of school may be rejoicing but nothing beats school life if you enjoy. MAKE THE DISCIPLINE TEACHERS WORK!!!!!

I got back to Puchong via KL Sentral today and waited for the usual bus to arrive at the bus stop.

It was raining and after some long half an hour wait, the bus finally arrived. It was damn annoying when a group of AFRICANS who think that they are big in size(....any part of the body including genitals) started shoving people out of their way including me just to get into the bus first. So, I decided to hold them back(give them an elbow to one of their hip actually when he push me out of his way although he is six inches taller than me). This is MALAYSIA and with these sort of people intruding our peace and tranquility, not respecting our local people, I think we should always stand out and defend ourselves from being bullied.

Not all of them are arrogant and aggressive, just that we always have to believe in ourselves.

Finally I saw another cello from the maker who made my instrument(Jan Pawlikowski).

This cello is a little younger, size about the same, colour and tailpiece also almost identical to mine.

Selling it at 8000 euros, 2000 cheaper than a new one.

Stupid peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) is finally over.

Although I am happy that I have finshed Malaysia's FAILED education system(memalukan),
I know I have 'half' failed as a person and as a student because I have failed to be a good student who obeys the teacher and does his homework AND I feel sorry for that now.

During the last paper, I had this feeling. This weird but special feeling that I felt that I could not really concentrate on my last paper(but never mind, I have inherited some bullshit skill that does not require concentration). I actually started to miss school and all my friends, all the laughter, all the jokes, all the mischief, basically everything.

I will always remember that ONCE A CHS-IAN, ALWAYS A CHS-IAN.
