A highlight on social entrepreneurship was presented by Mr Wahyu pointing that nowadays, there is no dichotomy between entrepreneurs who focus only on making profit and those who are fully philanthropist, but there is a spectrum of hybrid between these two extremes, which is a new generation of entrepreneurs who are successful in creating and implementing new business ideas who contribute not only to the wealth of the business but also contributing to the community’s economy.

Inspiring share of experience and knowledge from Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Iim provided the audience with insights and inspirations in becoming a successful entrepreneur. Characters of a successful entrepreneur were highlighted including a strong mentality to survive, the bravery to face the challenges, excellent leadership to inspire and to lead by example, and the love and passion in growing the business.

Finally, it is concluded that the a successful entrepreneur’s work is not only in identifying a good business idea and then turning it into a profitable business, but he/she is also creating values to the community, including creating employment and prospering people’s economy, thus fostering positive social change.
