One of the most unexpectedly effective methods? Digital coloring pages for adults. What was once seen as a pastime for children has evolved into a powerful, therapeutic, and artistically enriching activity, right at the fingertips of grown-ups. So why not close your email inbox, open a blank canvas, and color your way to a calmer mind, one digital stroke at a time?

What Are Digital Coloring Pages?

Digital coloring pages are downloadable or app-based illustrations that can be colored using a tablet, smartphone, or computer. Unlike traditional coloring books that require physical pencils or markers, digital coloring relies on styluses or even just your finger. These pages often come in high-resolution formats like PDF or PNG and cover a wide range of themes, from abstract mandalas and nature scenes to fashion sketches and architectural designs.

Why Adults Love Digital Coloring

1. Stress Relief & Mental Health: Numerous studies have shown that coloring can help reduce anxiety and improve mood. For adults coloring pages, digital coloring offers the same calming benefits as traditional coloring, but with added convenience. By focusing attention on the act of coloring, the mind naturally shifts away from worries and into a meditative state, lowering cortisol levels and fostering relaxation.

2. Creative Expression Without Pressure: Many adults struggle with the pressure of being “good” at art. Digital coloring removes that pressure by offering: undo/redo buttons for experimentation; layers and custom brushes; an array of color palettes without the mess. This freedom invites creativity without the fear of mistakes.

3. Portable and Eco-Friendly: Since everything is stored digitally, you can color anywhere, during your commute, on a lunch break, or while relaxing at home. There's no need to buy new supplies, and you're helping the environment by not using paper or plastic packaging.

4. Therapeutic Focus and Mindfulness: Coloring intricate digital designs, such as mandalas or zentangle patterns, encourages mindfulness and deep focus. It becomes a form of active meditation, helping people deal with daily stressors, trauma recovery, or even just work burnout.

5. Community and Connection: There’s a growing community of adult digital colorists on platforms like Reddit, Facebook, and Pinterest. Sharing your artwork, joining challenges, or simply admiring others’ creativity adds a social dimension to what might otherwise be a solitary hobby.

Popular Types of Digital Coloring Pages for Adults

- Mandalas & Geometric Patterns: Known for their symmetry and meditative qualities.
- Botanical and Floral Art: Perfect for nature lovers.
- Fantasy & Mythology: Dragons, fairies, and mythical landscapes fuel imagination.
- Portraits & Fashion: Great for fans of style, design, and detail work.
- Abstract Art: Allows full freedom of expression with color and form.

Coloring as a Digital Wellness Ritual

Digital coloring pages for adults are more than a trend, they represent a cultural shift toward slow living, creative wellness, and intentional digital use. Whether you're battling stress, craving a mindful moment, or simply want to feel creative again, digital coloring invites you into a vibrant world of calm and color.

For more Coloring Pages Resources Visit Here:

https://www.4shared.com/u/41mp1Qjw/centrulstirilor.html

https://slides.com/bradustefan

https://www.zazzle.com/mbr/238502171435278909

https://disqus.com/by/bradustefan/about/

https://www.longisland.com/profile/Stefan2108

https://decidim.santcugat.cat/profiles/valin_stefan/activity

https://pixabay.com/users/u_coloring-55973362/

https://www.demilked.com/author/bradustefan/

https://medium.com/@centrulstirilor

https://www.mixcloud.com/Stefan2108/

https://www.mindmeister.com/users/channel/131480658

https://www.blurb.com/user/Stefan2108

https://www.worldanvil.com/author/ColoringPics

The Four Rules of Gun Handling I Learnt at Bucharest Shooting Club

Beeing a complete and utter noob when it comes to weapons, I must admit that I was really anxious when I visited Bucharest Shooting Club last week. I have always wanted to fire a weapon and while I was visiting Romania I really wanted to try it out so I went out and booked a few hours at the range just outside Romania’s capital city, Bucharest.

I was really surprised to see just how professional this range really was. Even though it was located aproximately 25km away from the city, they had a really nice transport shuttle that you could take from the city’s centre. Once I got there, the trainers were really pleasant and polite and they had mad English skills.

Before they could give me a massive handgun to fire away as I pleased at a few puny cardboard targets, I had to go through the basics of handling such a weapon. This is where I learn four rules that everyone that holds a gun should respect.

The first rule, think of the gun that you are holding as being loaded. If you first pick up a gun that you did not handle before hand, treat it like it has a live round down the chamber. Pick it up, keep your finger away from the hammer and from the trigger and check to see if there is any ammo inside it. Take out the magazine, check the chamber and remove any ammo from inside the gun until you are completely ready to fire it.

The second rule, never point the gun at anything that you are not willing to destroy. Even if the gun is empty, this does not mean you can wave it around carelessly.

The third rule, always be sure of your target and it’s surroundings. Even if you think that if you are an ace at Call of Duty, it does not mean you will be able to hit your target from the get-go. Be sure that the area behind and near your intented target is clear and safe before you fire, you never know what you may hit, even if you are a real sharp-shooter.

And the fourth and final rule, is about keeping your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot. You may have the target in your sights, you may have a bullet in the chamber and the safety is off, but your mind is not yet ready to pull the trigger, then keep your finger off it to avoid any possible accident, or bad outcome.

If you are a foreigner like me and want to have a real good time in Bucharest and also have the time of your life, then I would truly recommend it.

The one dog would have been a great fit for her but she wasn't interested after finding it out that it could be a mix. Really! I answer ever question promptly regardless of how many times she asked or how silly of a question. And trust me she asked the same questions over and over again. I finally said to her that I feel you are a bit frustrated that things are not moving as quickly as you would like them to and I feel that due to my busy schedule I can not accommodate your needs at this time. I think it is best if you adopt a dog from a different agency. I just couldn't take it any more. I am sure she would have been a great home. Her vet reference was glowing but I just couldn't handle the stress. She got really mad when I told her the dog she was interested was not a good fit. Her response was "I guess you aren't in the business of adopting out pets. If you want to keep them don't put them on the website." OMG lady really. So, seriously it isn't the dogs I need a break form it is the people.

I had one lady email me and ask why I was charging $200 for a dog that was an owner surrender. Doesn't owner surrender mean everything was already done when you got the dog. UM let's think about this lady. The owners gave up their dog. Do you really think they cared enough to do the vet care? No one ever asks "hey I see you spent $3,000 on this dog but the adoption fee is only $200. Are you sure that is enough?" Heck I had a dog for 12.5 months. She received all her shots, rabies, was heartworm tested, given frontline and heartgard for 9 months, received 1 year vaccinations, was wormed, had a dental, was fixed and I feed her for 1 year. her adoption fee was $100. Really people do you think that the rescue made money on her? For the first time in 5 years I turned away an adopter. The women kept accusing me of things, asking questions like "What do I get for $200" she is also the one who questioned why the adoption fee was so high. She said she must have a pure breed but 2 of the dogs she was interested in were mixes.

Then I have the adopters who call and without really accusing beat around the bush that "something is wrong with the dogs since we brought him home." Ok you have had him a week, a month, a year and he was fine when he left me. Did you take him to the vet? I have people all the time think the "shedding" means they are sick. No, shedding means a Million different things and as I tell everyone if you take the dog to the vet with in the first week of having him/her and the vet says this dog has x and this is something the rescue should have known then I will 100% take the dog back, give you back your money and treat the dog myself. I will not pay the vet bills if you treat him but I will treat him and give you back your adoption fee. I don't think if I am trying to scam you or adopt out a sick dog I would do that. I guess that is what bothers me the most. People acting like I am trying to screw you. I mean don't get me wrong there are plenty of people out there that are trying to screw you but I would hope with all the information I have given you and everything I do for you that you would have a little faith in me.

Seriously my stress and anxiety is not over the dogs. It is over the people that unfortunately go with the dogs. I don't need to scale back or take a break from my dogs I need people to take responsibility for their actions. I love every single one of my adopters. I have meet some really really amazing people along the way. I have even been privileged to call some of the wonderful people my friends. Heck some of my adopters I even invited to my wedding b/c I have had such a wonderful relationship with them. And some I even do non dog related things with. It isn't my adopters who stress me out. Even though some are way higher maintenance then others, that is ok. I am here for everyone who has adopted from me, when it comes to their dog(s). And some I have even gotten jobs at my work. Don't get me wrong, if I can help I can but the demands demands people have put on me this week. People call all the time demanding I do this or I do that. Come get this dog right now? Huh? Um how about no. It just amazes me grown adults act like such spoiled children. Then I have the people that call me telling me all their martial problems. I am not a therapist, leave me alone.

I love the sense of narrative here, the scale with the human figure, the fact that I have had one imagine in my mind for years of what a Shoggoth looked like (which was much more ameboid, or perhaps a cube of jelly with eyes) and Craig has given me another. Very nice.

Andrew Barr's the great race. I must be a sucker for the Great Race. I love the cartoonish style here, the fez is a nice touch, and agree with the artist's own comments of the difficulty of distinguishing "evil" vs "just alien." A cup of tea is probably more appropriate here than a beer.

This is important, not just because of the people involved, but also because of the industries that are represented. What might not be readily apparent (unless you know the players involved) is the breath of experience that was sitting at the front of the room. The field was covered from Film and TV, table top gaming, digital gaming, advertising, publishing, and more. I don't think there was a single question that didn't get answered with numerous points of view from numerous industry perspectives. I'll be honest. I was captivated myself. I walked out of the session with a lot more knowledge about some of the other industries, and a whole lot more respect for the folks in those roles and industries. This was one of the best panels, for me, at the con. I hope the audience got even half as much out of it as I did. After the round table, I dashed over to my space at Le Bistro and kicked of my tour of duty with the portfolio reviews. This is one of my favorite activities. Reviews went until 9 pm, and I'll admit that I was getting pretty toasty towards the end. I got to meet some great folks, and check out what the "kids" are doing in school today. I was floored by a few portfolios. Several of the aspiring artists had a breath and maturity to their work that belied their years. Made me said to realize the time and energy I squandered in my art school years. One Young man was Sam Burley. A quiet young man with a stunning grasp of environments. I really look forward to seeing his work after his next growth spurt. In the mean time... here are a couple of his pieces. Please welcome him to ArtOrder.

Pat Callahan's the great race of Yith. I love the sense of expression in the almost-slumped shoulders of this very non-human creature, which seems to capture, not just the look of the creature as detailed in the description, but the tone of it and it's effect on a human observer, as in this passage "it is not wholesome to watch monsters and monstrous objects doing what one had known only human beings to do." I get trapped trying to map my own human emotions onto a completely nonhuman form. I know that I don't normally write on the weekends, but this hasn't been my usual weekend. I'll have to keep it short today, because I've got to dash to work pretty quickly. Yesterday was a grand day here at the con. I didn't have much in the way of free time, but I sure got a lot out of all the wonderful little things that happened throughout the day. There were few big highlights to my day... As has become the norm, Robh Ruppel and I had our "psychic connection" breakfast gathering. This time, we ended up joining up with Matt Cavotta as well. Another great start to my morning - wonderful conversation, and a nice breakfast. The next big activity was a round table dicussion I was honored to be involved in. The title of the event was "Art Director faq". I have to say though, the audience skipped right past the "frequently asked questions" and jumped into some wonderful thought provoking questions. I loved the way this event played out. It is important to note who was involved: Robh Ruppel from Naughty Dog Games (I love that name, makes me giggle every time I say it); Ben Thompson and Jeremy Cranford from Blizzard Entertainment; Lou Anders from Pyr Publishing and myself from Wizards of the Coast.

This is the first illustration that really struck me on my initial look through and it has stayed with me for several days now, possibly because there is a sense of narrative here, possibly because I believe that this thing exists in a way I don't believe all Lovecraft's creatures do (the textures here of wing and bone sell that verisimilitude nicely) and possibly just because I wonder who those riders are that are crazy enough to mount these terrible things!

I read about this blog site on one of my writer's lists (and we now know these are where I get most of my ideas for blog topics, don't we?). Apparently authors can check their own books (or the blogger checks some) and email the blog owner. She then posted to the list, with a link to the original News Bite blog site. I find the idea interesting and so went to my book shelf to see how my books would fare if someone started reading at page 69. Would I find that page representative of the story as a whole? I was pretty nervous as I started reading, but was pleasantly surprised to find that, in all seven books, page 69 delivered the goods. Okay, I have no idea how you could plan something like that in your writing, but it is an interesting idea. It's not like you can find page 69 in an unpublished manuscript. The author doesn't control where the pages fall in a printed book. So, is it good writing or pure, dimb luck when that page delivers the goods? When you pick up a book, is random sampling part of your assessment for buying? Or do you go to a particular page? Now that I've read the News Bite page 69 site, I might become this website page 69 reader. If I remember to do it. Right now, I'm still trying to memorize a new pin number for my debit card.

James Wolf Strehle's Hound of Tindalos. This is awesome! Angels and hounds! While we don’t really see the hounds, overall the story and emotion here really allow the audience to fill in the blanks on the hounds character. The artist has seemed to take a safe and accessible road on the hounds idea; the hounds are described as being not being canine specifically, but could almost be bat like, leaving many roads you could travel down with the concept. However this approach works and overall this piece is great in its execution.

Wes Jones draw it’s like a sundew plant and a grasshopper had kids! This is a solid underdrawing. Reference those joints! Will Martinez draw another great piece! A delightful setting, somber mood, lots of information. Skillful handling of palette and textures. The architectural and costume details are a marvelous touch. I’d make a tiny adjustment of your values where the leading forearm crosses the belly... maybe just darken that edge of the arm a bit so the two don’t blend together. Well done!

As amazing as it is, walking through the main venue and seeing some of the greatest names and works that the fantasy genre has to offer, it was, in some ways, even more impressive to see the works that were in the Showcase. If this is a fair sampling of the generation of artists that are coming up, we have lots to look forward to in the years to come. I was absolutely blown away by some of the work I saw there and had some amazing conversations. I certain that at least one or two folks might get invited to the "big league" after such a strong showcase, and I look forward to seeing them in the main hall next year. I had several opportunities to chat with Patrick and Jeannie Wilshire about their creation. I really enjoy the passion and love they have for the artists and their works. There is a reason that this event is so cherished by the community that attends it and that is these two wonderful people. It is an honor to have these two folks include me in their event, and I look forward to seeing how things change and grow over the years... and thanks for making the purposeful decision to keep the show small and intimate!

What I normally get from an artists, especially a first-time artist, is a note about how much fun they had with the project and how they hope that they can get more. I like getting those. It makes me feel good, but the cynical side of me just wants to believe they say that to every art director that can give them work. I hate the cynical side of me... it takes the fun out of a lot of stuff :) There was a time when I did some surveys with the artists to see what they thought about how I was doing my job. It was eye-opening. It taught me a lot about my expectations, my communication style, and my assumptions. In some ways it was a little crushing. There are some aspects of my personality I thought were strengths... and it wasn't always seen that way by the artists. Very humbling... So if you want to do surveys, or ask for feedback - make sure you take a deep breath before you start reading the replies. Sometimes they can be a hard pill to swallow. More so when you realize the feedback is honest and true. One bit of advice: After you read the feedback - just let it sit; Don't react to it. Don't judge it. Don't dismiss it. Just listen to it... and learn. "No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or emotional appeal" - Marilyn Ferguson.

My tripods were a joke. My kick ups were dismal. But hey, my goal was simply to avoid breaking bones, not to actually accomplish anything. I got through them with as little effort as possible. At almost thirty minutes into class, we picked up our hoops and started spinning. Okay, now I was in my element. For about two minutes. Our lesson was to practice a hoop passing drill where we'd line up and swing the hoops side to side and front to back, passing it to the person behind us and then running to the back of the line. This was so not what I wanted to do. For me, hooping was a solo, meditative exercise. I'd come to this class to expand my repertoire of moves, such as hooping on my chest and shoulders, and maybe picking up a few dance moves. I didn't want to have to coordinate my tricks with others. What if I bonked someone's head with a hoop? What if someone bonked mine? What if I wasn't good enough and slowed the line down? What if? What if? What if? But I went along with it. And surprise of surprise, I actually kind of liked it. Just like that guy in Green Eggs and Ham. Hmmm. Something began to nag at me. As I threw my hoop into the air over and over, the nagging became a question:

When had I become so scared of physical movement? It hadn't happened over night. I used to consider myself athletic. I used to like thrills. Yet somehow, my life had become such a routine that I was treating my body with the fragility of a much older person. Yuk. That's when I decided this class would really be about facing my fears, moving my body in ways that it wasn't familiar with. And so I really dove in. Trying everything that was asked of me, week after week. The trampoline? Funnier than adult coloring pages? The multi-person hoop passing exercises? The attempts to hoop "off body" with my foot, knee, leg, whatever body part was available? Fun, fun, fun. Admittedly, I never got past the tripod stage of my head stands. But it didn't matter. The important thing was that I got upside down. That I tried. Each night I walked out of the gym with my back straighter, my head higher, my body a little more confident. Sunday, February 16th is World Hoop Day. If you have the opportunity to hoop, I hope you give it a try. If you don't, I hope you find something that reminds you that you own your body, not the other way around.

It's been twenty-four hours of nothing but fun. (Insert heavy sarcasm here). Almost no sleep - four hours is not near enough for a beauty like me. There are things that need done and of course they must be done in a prescribed timeframe which is now not later. The computer problem is fixed. Replaced Chrome with IE for now and everything is is fine. I no longer have to sign in each time I change pages (definitely maddening when reading blogs). Tomorrow is football! Grandson is sidelined with a sprain but all of us will be cheering up to victory over Clarion. We will cheer loudly and hard after the one (1) point loss last week to that other team. Saturday Shorts is coming up and then I hope to be on track with, what for me, is normal posting. I'm headed out for business now and then sleep. Have a happy and blessed weedend.

I decided to give the book a try, even if the writing and story thus far had me concerned. However, the book slapped my face with the worst plot device ev-ah! You know the one... Love at first sight! Blah. I stopped believing in that sometime in the womb. I am sure that some ladies (and maybe men... I am sure there are guys out there who read romances... right?) out in the world who thoroughly enjoy the idea of LaFS. I just find it a cheap way of hooking characters up without actually having them become closer in a more natural way. I believe in lust at first sight. But most often the key word is "love." Sure. So the main character dude is convinced that he and this stranger girl are "mates." I cringed at the word. And it isn't what you think. Nope. I don't like the word because it is somehow deemed by the author to be romantic. A sort of destiny thing. Now if this were a drag you back to the cave, no feelings involved, story I would accept the word. But since this is supposed to be a sweet, happy romance I despise the use of the word. I skimmed this book. Just as a warning. You may ask if I am a totally fair judge of the book. And I answer Yes!

I am sure I could have enjoyed a passage or two in the book that I did not read (but I doubt it). You could not force me to read this one though. After I read the last pages in the book (yes I skipped to the end) I heartily threw the book on the floor. Now this book had something else I really don't like. Besides a consistently stubborn and dense heroine. I know she is dense and stubborn because I read the last pages. See I wasn't made to suffer. I think I chose correctly. Anyway... this book has characters that speak in dialect! Oh sweet joy! Dialect. Scottish dialect to be exact. Save me now. It's all "ken" and "verra" and "dinnae" (not sure on the last one, but you get the point). I was gonna kill someone. The word "bonnie" was used too! Argh! No! I have an aversion to the word. Especially when "lass" is attached. It was like I stepped into Satan's living room! Hellish! I don't think I'd mind dialect if it was similar to a Robert Burns poem. But I just get the American trying to speak like a Scot vibe. Which always causes me to run away with my ears plugged (if I were watching a movie). I ran away. Rating: Did not finish. Would not recommend this book, unless you like the author and/or if you are fond of Scots dialect.

Review: Sometimes I just want to read a bad book. My brain gravitates to my stack of TBR books, ones that I suspect may be a vacation for my brain. I am not looking for a terrible book. Just one that is "bad" enough to give me a break from actually using any brain power. I have this theory, which is probably completely correct (or not), that our brains are incredibly insightful. That meat rattling in our skulls pick up on the tiniest cues. And I think my brain was leading me to the number one "bad" book in my stacks. Sadly this book exceeded my expectations. Meh. It was a tough decision whether I thought the first paragraph was bizarre in a good way or a bad way. A man in obvious disguise. A puffy, soft belly. Like all the fake Santas wear. Skinny, but oh so strong, legs and arms. It could have been entertaining if it wasn't a train wreck.

I’m listening to this song on one of my pandora stations, and remembering where i heard it first, while working at a bookstore that had been built inside the castle-like shell of an old theosophical society temple. In some ways, that job was pretty cool, as retail jobs go. So after a bit of googling I find one of the former employees has created a myspace page as internet flypaper trying to get all those people together. I don’t know. I met some people i liked there. Other people I met there, I had some conflict with. Largely, I think, because they disapproved of my not drinking. Frustrated writers can be that way. There’s a weird camaraderie that arises amongst people working together at a crappy retail job. Especially the type that affords a veneer of elite knowledge even if it does not afford elite pay. I occasionally keep in touch with my fellow former box office people (”yes, I used to work for a nonprofit arts organization”).

Lose weight tips can be found everywhere. Don't believe everything you see or hear but every once in a while you may come across a suggestion that actually works. Apple cider vinegar may just be one of those precious finds. Apple cider vinegar is credited wtih many health giving benefits, including helping to lose weight. Google apple cider vinegar to learn about its healthy promoting properties. I am not normally a fan of what may appear as dietary gimmicks to help you lose weight, but this one really does work according to the testimonies of thousands of people who have benefited from this dieting method. If you want to lose weight healthy and successfully with this diet then it is important to follow the instructions. First of all you need to use organic apple cider vinegar. Normal vinegars such as malt vinegar although they may aid the weight loss process are generally considered to be too acidic and also lack some of the trace elements commonly found in apple cider vinegar. The simple recipe is to drink diluted apple cider vinegar approximately 20 minutes before each meal. If you find the taste difficult to get used to then it is acceptable to add a small amount of honey making it a more palatable drink. Unfortunately nobody really knows for certain why the apple cider vinegar works to help you to lose weight.

There are however three explanations that are considered to be credible and have some scientific basis. Vinegar promotes and enhances the body's own natural potential to dispose of excess fat by allowing a given expenditure of energy to burn more calories than it otherwise would have, thus reducing the number of calories that are stored as fat and enabling the body to lose weight. The extra acidity temporarily created in the stomach and other parts of the digestive system help to make the subsequent intake of food more digestible thereby leading to a more rapid passage through the bowel. Drinking the cider vinegar 20 minutes before the meal acts as an appetite suppressant. This small reduction in food intake along with the other benefits mentioned can result in an improvement in the body's ability to lose weight. But you need to be aware that this is not a lose weight fast program. It invariably takes at least a month before any tangible results will be noticed. In fact any noticeable effectiveness of the diet is often not realized until the 3rd month. It goes without saying that whilst embarking on the diet it is not sufficient to just rely on the cider vinegar to lose weight, it is vital to change your eating habits so that when you have reached your target weight you don't revert back to your old ways and put the weight straight back on.

I searched a song with my name. In all these years I never have. I figured someone named Myriam at some point might have inspired beautiful sentiments in a person that would have created beautiful lyrics. On a Sunday morning I turned on youtube and selected the songs with my name. I found three with the spelling slightly different, Miriam, there were more than 3 but I could only stand so much of that music. The lyrics were depressing, horrific to say the least. Who have been these women to evoke such feelings? The first one was King Diamond, a song fitted for a horror movie, "Oh Miriam, why did you have to go and die?". Another one described Miriam, the one who didn't die or the one who died but before she died. Miriam was kind of homely kind of ugly in the face and hands she had nice eyes she had nice breasts and hands and feet but she was small and dark and hurt all over. I think they were describing me after a marathon. I listened to yet one more. The Honeydogs was not much better although it doesn't talk about how ugly Miriam is. Good God, what's in a name that no one has impacted a writer the right way to leave behind some sweet melodies! I am glad I spell my name a little different, maybe throwing a Y in there might inspire some better prose.
