I never really paid much attention to those who touted conspiracy in connection with the assassination of President Kennedy.  Perhaps it was my training and faith in the system as a young policeman that made me believe no one that high in the government could be hit.  Or maybe my experience as a former officer convinced me that no city, county, state, or federal investigator or law enforcement official I knew, including those at the Justice Department and the Central Intelligence Agency, could develop and execute a plan as precise as those that conspiracy buffs hawked all over the country in unrelenting new conferences, seminars, and even gun shows.  I didn't think a bunch of bureaucrats could find the brain cells between them to pull off the elaborate schemes these people presented.  So when I was approached about being involved in the most riveting investigative event since the Warren Commission itself, to end speculation about one particular conspiracy theory, I was excited about it.  I figured we would get to the bottom of this once and for all.

On Friday November 22nd, 1963, a beautiful bright sunny day I was standing on the corner of Ross Ave. and Harwood in Dallas. I was Awaiting the arrival of President Kennedy and his wife Jackie. I was 6' 3 so I could see over the heads of the people in front of me.

We could hear the sirens of the motorcade approaching. I, along with the other people, looked north on Harwood and saw the red lights and sirens from the police motorcade followed by the Presidential Limousine.

Suddenly, without notice one block north of Harwood I saw a Lincoln Convertible pull out into the south bound lane, just as the motorcade approached. The top was down and there was just one white male behind the wheel.
