Priority Prices Prove Popular With William Hill Punters!

On the 15th of September 2012, William Hill launched their new initiative - Priority Prices and it is already proving to a massive success with punters around the country.

By subscribing to online or text notifications, punters are made aware of specially enhanced William Hill prices on all the big events, for which they guarantee at least 5,000 bets at that price. All bets are subject to a maximum stake to ensure that the offers are available to as many people as possible.

The first price enhanced for the Priority Prices was for Camelot to win the St Leger. Offered nationwide at around 2/5, William Hill subscribers were treated to a market leading Even money - a price that attracted well over 7,000 bets in the space of 20 minutes.

Super Sunday saw the first double Priority Price offer as both Manchester sides were enhanced to win, with punters especially benefitting from United (who were enhanced from 15/8 to 3/1) as they defeated Liverpool at Anfield.

The following week saw an amazing comeback by Europe's Ryder Cup team and 5,000 William Hill customers had a double celebration, having backed Europe at our Priority Price of 5/2 (enhanced from 15/8)

Our second double Priority Price offer of the new season saw Arsenal (enhanced from 5/4 to 7/4) hosting Chelsea at the Emirates and Man Utd (Evens from 3/5) tackling Tottenham at Old Trafford.

For the North London Derby on the first weekend of March we offered 4/1 that the in-form Gareth Bale would score in a Tottenham victory over rivals Arsenal. The Welshman broke Gunners fans hearts but didn't let Priority Price punters down as they scooped up the 4/1 winnings enhanced from 9/4.

"Our Priority Prices are not just enhanced prices, but are market leading prices by some way," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "Our punters are getting terrific value for all the best events and everyone is getting a slice as well."

What is priority pricing?

A Priority Price is an individual, singles only bet that will usually be a limited availability enhancement on our current market price at the time. We aim to run this promotion on the biggest events and on the markets you want to back.

When does it happen?

Do I get Priority Prices automatically?

How long does it last for?

Final day heartache makes Bale 5/6 to leave

Arsenal hung on for Champions League qualification ahead of their rivals Spurs and William Hill think that Arsene Wenger will help his side finish in the top four once again next season.

The Gunners are 4/6 for a top four finish next season, while Spurs are 13/8 (the same price as Liverpool).

It would seem that all Spurs fans can do is hope that Arsene Wenger leaves Arsenal given his success and he is 3/1 to do so in 2013 and 15/8 to do so in 2014.

Gareth Bale scored yet another screamer for Spurs although his effort was in vain. For the first time this season, he is odds on, at 5/6, to no longer be at Spurs on the first day of next season.

Another side who were celebrating on Sunday were Yeovil and William Hill make them 2/5 to stay in the Championship after they were promoted in the playoffs.

In the build up to this weekend's fixtures, much speculation had centred around Martin Jol's future but a comfortable away win to Swansea seems to have calmed that down and William Hill make Mr Jol 4/6 to still be at Craven Cottage on the first day of next season.

England 8/1 To Go Unbeaten Remaining 10 Tests Of Year

After cruising to victory against New Zealand, William Hill make England 8/1 to go unbeaten in test match cricket for the remainder of this calendar year.

Going into the second test at Headingley, England are 4/7 to win, while New Zealand are 8/1 with the draw 2/1.

Stuart Broad and James Anderson grabbed 15 of New Zealand's wickets between them and William Hill are offering 50/1 that they manage to take all 20 of them in the next test starting Friday. Anderson is 8/11 to take more wickets in the next test than Braod (who is Evens).

"Braod and Anderson were the fulcrum of a quite remarkable England victory and they will be expected to be at point again in Yorkshire and if they can recreate their form of the last few days then they could feasibly bag a full house between them," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

As predicted red hot 8/13 favourites Denmark won the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, in another year when the UK finished well down the field.

Britain's biggest bookmaker William Hill believe that it could be time for the BBC to boycott the Eurovision for at least a year and offer 33/1 that the UK does not take part in 2014.

In reality whomever takes part is onto a loser, it is 1/12 that the United Kingdom fail to win the competition this decade!

"As it stands we are being humiliated on a yearly basis and it could be time for a sabatical!" said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Adele is perhaps the only current British artist who would start as the favourite and, should she agree to take part, William Hill would make her their 2/1 favourite.

"Adele put the wow factor back into the Bond song, perhaps she can do the same for the Eurovision song contest," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.

Will Dougie be a Freedman of Everton?

Dougie Freedman continues to be backed to bag the Everton job with William Hill making him 8/1 (from 10/1) having been as long as 50/1 just two days ago.

The Bolton boss does, however, remain quite some way behind the favourites for the job. Roberto Martinez is 2/1 with Alan Stubbs 9/2 joint second favourite with Neil Lennon.

"What is certain about this market is that no one truly knows who is in the running for this job," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly. "We have 46 named runners in our next Everton manager market and every single one has attracted multiple bets, from the favourites, all the way down to the 100/1 shots."

Manuel Pelligrini continues to head the next permanent Manchester City manager market, with William Hill making the current Malaga boss 1/12 favourite to take over at Eastlands. Jose Mourinho is the 6/1 second favourite with Rafa Benitez 11/1.

Another gamble has seen Bayern Munich once again become the favourites to sign Wayne Rooney in the summer transfer window. Having drifted to 5/2, they are in to 5/4 to win the race to sign him, while he is 6/4 to remain at Manchester United. Chelsea have reportedly shown interest in recent days in the United striker and he is 5/2 to be a Blue by the close of the window.

"Chelsea have moved firmly into the frame to sign the wantaway Wayne Rooney and it looks as though he could be a Blue once again (albeit in a different city," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Jol odds-on to leave Fulham before next season

William Hill are offering 4/6 that Martin Jol has left Fulham by the start of next season amidst reports that he could be yet another managerial casualty in the coming weeks.

"There has been a lot of managerial movement over the last few days and we predict that Martin Jol could be the next in line," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Gus Poyet seems to be the man that everyone is talking about, in more ways than one, and William Hill are betting on his next club. He is 9/4 to move to Everton and the same price to go to Leicester. With Malky Mackay also in the running for the Everton job, Poyet is 12/1 to move to Cardiff and 16/1 to move back to Chelsea in the manager's dugout. It is 16/1 that his next job is at Fulham.

With Spurs doing everything they can to keep Gareth Bale, William Hill offer 11/10 that the superstar winger stays at White Hart Lane until at least the first day of next season although should he leave, Real Madrid will surely be waiting in the wings (Bale is 5/2 to have moved to the Bernabeu by the first day of the Premier League season).

Dougie Freedman has been the latest mover in the Everton manager market, backed in from 33/1 to 10/1 after a flurry of bets on Friday.
