David Miliback On Board?

William Hill are offering 5/1 that David Miliband will join the Labour shadow cabinet before the next General Election. 'There are suggestions that Ed's brother is looking to return to the front line of politics after some time away and he would undoubtedly add some presence to the Labour line up if his brother is prepared to bring him on board' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Theresa may be next Tory leader

William Hill have cut their odds about Theresa May becoming the next leader of the Conservative Party from 16/1 to 12/1 joint fourth favourite after seeing some financial support for her to do so. 'We have seen a modest number of bets for her of between £50 and £100 and trimmed her price' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

William Hill: Next Tory Leader; 4/1 Boris Johnson; 7/1 Michael Gove; 10/1 Philip Hammond; 12/1 Theresa May; George Osborne.

With Michael Heseltine joining the discussion about an EU referendum, William Hill have cut their odds about the UK quitting the EU before 2020 from 10/1 to 7/1 , and also cut their odds for a referendum on UK EU membership to take place before 2020 from 2/1 to 7/4.

‘Political punters believe a UK withdrawal from the EU is a genuine possibility' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills also offer 10/1 that an In/Out referendum on the EU will take place before the next General Election.

DAVID CAMERON is a 7/1 chance with William Hill to achieve his aim of remaining Prime Minister until 2020 - 'Mr Cameron's aim to remain in the job for another seven years is a bold one - but won't be easy' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

And Hills are also offering 7/1 that the UK is no longer a full member of the EU on January 1, 2020.

WILLIAM HILL...DAVID CAMERON PM ON JAN 1, 2020 - 7/1 YES; 1/16 NO

Hills offer 13/8 that the next General Election will result in another Hung Parliament. And if that happens Hills are betting that it will produce a Lab-Lib coalition - a 4/1 shot - rather than another Con-Lib coalitiion, a 6/1 chance.

Labour are 4/9 favourites to win the most seats at the next Election with the Tories 13/8 and Lib Dems 125/1.

Bookmakers William Hill are offering odds of 25/1 that the US Election ends in a tie with both Obama and Romney finishing up with 239 each of the available Electoral College votes - and as the voters go to the polls, Hills have cut Mitt Romney's odds from 7/2 to 10/3 as late support comes in for him.

However, Obama remains a warm favourite despite being eased from 1/5 to 2/9. ‘In the last 24 hours two of every three bets placed on the US Election have been for Obama to win, but in the last few hours Romney bets have begun to increase' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills say they expect up to £10million in bets to be riding on the outcome of the Election, a record total, and they have recently taken a £30,000 bet on Obama from a Manchester betting shop client, and another of US$30,000 from a Thailand-based customer, also for Obama, while they have a £25,000 bet riding on Romney.

‘Before the storm Mr Obama was 4/9 favourite with Mitt Romney at 7/4, but we've had to cut his odds a number of times as punters appear to regard the President's sure-footed performance so far during the crisis as being a crucial factor in the outcome of the Election' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Chief Whip under pressure as he misses Tory Conference

With under fire Chief Whip set to miss the Conservative Party Conference, William Hill are offering odds of 7/2 that he will be out of his position by November 1, 2012, although he is 1/6 to survive in the role beyond that stage. ‘One might have thought that Mr Mitchell might have thought the Conference would be the best place to draw a line and move on, but by staying away he is ensuring that the controversy will rumble on until he does finally break cover' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Ed Miliband favourite to be next PM as Labour favourites for next General Election
