William Moseley After Narnia

Official Trailer of "The Silent Mountain"

2014-08-26T01:58:00.000-04:00

Am delighted that the official trailer of "The Silent Mountain" is posted on YouTube! You can access it right here! Am waiting for the world-wide release of this movie, or at least for it to be released in DVD soon! Great job, William Moseley and the rest of the cast and crew of "The Silent Mountain"!

"The Royals"

2014-08-13T14:49:00.000-04:00

A new E! series will cast Will as a true royal in “The Royals”! He will play no less than the role of the dashing “spare” prince (Prince Liam) who becomes the heir to the throne when his older brother dies in a military training exercise. He will be paired with Merritt Patterson (photo below) of "Ravenswood" series fame, who plays the role of the daughter (Ophelia) of the American head of the fictional British royal family's security team. Filming having started in London last June, the series is due to air in 2015! Looking forward to finally watching Will again, and as a royal, too!

Happy 26th Birthday, William!

2013-04-27T20:13:00.001-04:00

High King Peter the Magnificent has come a long way! Still magnificent and cooler than ever!!

Wishing you a most memorable and happiest birthday, and all happiness and success both in your career and personal life, now and in the years ahead! God bless you!

The Silent Mountain

2013-03-16T17:36:00.000-04:00

"The Silent Mountain" or "Der Stille Berg" poster, Feb 2013.

Looks like a really interesting movie, The Silent Mountain. The story is about an Austrian young couple getting ready to get married when suddenly Europe descends into war in 1915-1916 (World War 1). William is cast as the young lover together with Eugenia Constantini as the lady young lover. Claudia Cardinale, an Italian hot star of the 1960s - 70s, is also among the cast of talents.

Besides the news that William was hit by lightning together with other 9 crew members during its filming in Italy, there's not much information about the movie. However, thanks to this Facebook page, at least we get to see some pictures and a hint as to when it will be released: September 2013. The same page mentions on July 17, 2012 that,

"It was impressive to see how William took care of other crew members before tending to his own burns."

Whoa, ever the gentleman William! Not surprising from the guy who portrayed the Magnificent High King Peter of Narnia and who once quipped, "Hugs, not drugs," as a teenager promoting his Prince Caspian movie. A story of the lightning strike is found here.

Meanwhile, here are two photos taken from the set during filming:

The wo Grand Dames Julia Gschnitzer and Claudia Cardinale with William.

A pic of the trenches from the set while shooting on original location on Cinque Torri. The owner of Der Stille Berg Facebook page, who's a film crew member, said he had a strange feeling shooting where so many soldiers had died.

So there, I pray this promising movie really comes out as scheduled (September 2013) as it was originally scheduled for release last month yet (February 2013) in Germany. Congratulations to William and the rest of the cast and crew!

Both immediately above photos and the poster photo are courtesy of Der Stille Berg. I am sincerely indebted to that page.

Will's Home Girl

2013-02-18T13:57:00.004-05:00

If you're wondering whom William is dating now, she's none other than the beautiful and spunky Kelsey Chow! Star of Disney XD's "Pair of Kings", its last episode airs today, according to none other but William himself on his Twitter:

‏@WILLPMO

Be sure to check out my home girl, @kelseychow, in the final Pair of Kings tomorrow on Disney XD at 8.

Posted 13 hours ago, that means it's today. This TV series has been running since Oct. 2010.

The oldest child in a brood of three, Kelsey hails from Columbia, South Carolina and is a student at Columbia Universty, New York City. Wow, beauty and brains! And a lot of "Columbia." Is she of Columbian descent, too? :P Nah, she's half Caucasian and half Chinese. No wonder she's such a beaut! :-) Hey, William, you're a lucky dude! Congratulations! Beautiful pair they make. Kelsey is also William's love interest in his up-and-coming movie "Run."

My favorite vid clip of Miss Kelsey Chow is here.

And my favorite photo of them together is this!

Pic taken on their surprise visit at the Palmetto Health Children's Hospital in South Carolina on Oct. 16, 2012, where they spent several hours with the hospitalized children playing video games and sharing photos. They are a picture of a young and wholesome, family-oriented couple! Chill !

William's New Movies!

2013-02-15T21:59:00.000-05:00

Yay! William has two new movies and one of them is supposed to be released anytime this year (2013)! "Run" is about a 17-year old parkour practitioner or "traceur" and it's an action-packed thriller with our very own William in the lead role as Daniel Lombardi and his real-life girlfriend Kelsey Chow "Emily Baltimore" as love interest. See the official trailer here !

For more info on Run you can look up this site . There is also a promo clip for the contest for the best street-to-screen 30-90 sec parkour vid with the winner to be included at the end of the movie. Together with Kelsey Chow and Craig Henningson, William is so funny here. :-)

His other movie, "The Silent Mountain" is in post-production. He plays "Andreas Gruber" in this adventure - romance - drama. Also set to be released 2013, I would love to see both these movies!

William looks so mature in the stills from these movies. All pics are courtesy of Charismatic website. My kudos and deep gratitude to that wonderful William-devoted fansite!

Meanwhile, Will was struck by lightning (!!!) on the set while filming "The Silent Mountain" in July last year (2012), and survived! Phew! He said it was "very traumatic" for him and he felt "lucky to be alive" and he "learned a lot from the experience." Thank God we have our Will back safe and sound! You can read more about it here. You can also watch him mention about that experience in this vid of him and Kelsey talking with fans at the premiere of "Lawless" in Hollywood on Aug. 2012.

Looks like our waiting is paying off real soon. Yes, looks like 2013 is a great year ahead for us William Moseley fans and here's wishing you all the best to your movie career this year and in the many years to come, Will !! Very well-done and congratulations!!!

Check it Out!

"Burberry Body" fragrance for women launched on Oct. 26, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California and guess who was there? Our favourite British actor William Moseley, of course! :) Charismatic website posted heaps of photos of him at that event and I re-post one of them here. Black and white always suit him but I'm glad his coat is not plain black. He looks dashing and the suit is perfect on him!

Now compare that with a picture of young Robert Redford, a superstar of his generation:

I think the resemblance is striking! Check out more of William's "Burberry" photos at Charismatic!

William as Planeteer

Haha! Here's another vid from Funny or Die TV:

Love the red hair!... and the thick Brit accent, of course! ~.~

I like the red hair... Enjoy! ;D

He Ain't the Idiot Bro

2011-08-22T18:48:00.003-04:00

William attended the red carpet premier of "Our Idiot Brother" on Aug 16, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. I got a photo of him courtesy of Charismatic Fan Site. He looks really sharp here with a closer cut and the little braid in his hairstyle gone. Hmm, he upstaged Paul Rudd, me thinks. :) He's grown a little mustache, too! Really looks mature here.

New Vid of William

2011-08-22T18:22:00.000-04:00

There's a new vid of William signing autographs at the Mondrian Hotel in Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. He looks dapper, very mature and confident dealing with the fans and the questions thrown at him by candid interviewers. He commented on the recent London riots saying it's "depressing... for the politicians..." You can view the vid here!

He also graciously posed for photos together with fans. What a cool guy!

New Hairstyle

2011-08-22T17:21:00.001-04:00

Charismatic posted photos of William Moseley attending a function (MIU MIU Presents Lucrecia Martel’s “Muta” event) in Beverly Hills, CA on 19th July 2011 and noticeable is Will's striking new hairstyle. Hmmm, will he be sporting it in a new movie project?? A pirate role perhaps??? (Just kidding.)His hairstyle has evolved a lot since his Narnia days but I think this one's the "hottest" so far?

Fairy Tale Dream Come True?

2011-05-17T01:32:00.002-04:00

Hey, there's rumor circulating in Hollywood that William will play a role in a dark and modern film version of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. Wouldn't that be wonderful? After all "A Great Education" seems to be taking ages to come out in the theatres? You can read about it in the article by the London Evening Standard's ES Magazine, "Getting Fired Up About Fables."

Meanwhile, Will just celebrated his 24th birthday last April 27th, 2011!!

Happy 24th Birthday, William! We wish you all the best on your acting career and much happiness in your personal life!!

Let's party with "Peter, Edmund and Susan" as they seemingly celebrate Will's birthday! Yeeehaaa!!! ;D

(Photo taken from Charismatic fansite. The owner posted stills taken from William's cameo appearance in the movie, "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and this is probably the best of them shots. Thank you very much Charismatic!!)

Will Loafing Around in Hollywood

2011-03-19T14:39:00.001-04:00

Last night I watched Emma Roberts' movie "Nancy Drew," with my daughter and suddenly I wondered what has happened to "A Great Education"? Will we ever get to see it in the cinemas yet?? Everything's mum and quiet about that project and there had been no updates on IMDB nor in comingsoon.net. Hmmm, what's going on?

Meanwhile, William was spotted in West Hollywood in his classic loose, white cotton top, dark sleek pants and shades on the 4th of this month (March 2011). He was heading back to his car.

These photos were lifted from justjaredjr.com and were also posted by Charismatic fansite.

On the other hand, Emma Roberts was also spotted the other day, 17th March 2011, in LA, also walking back to her car with a few coffees in hand. Photos also from justjaredjr.com.

She looks immaculate in her neatly-done hair and blue suede stiletto shoes.

These photos were also posted on fabulous-emma fansite.

Can't wait to watch them together on screen!

William at the World Premiere of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader

2010-12-11T23:22:00.000-05:00

With the whole cast of the film. Noticeable is the absence of Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian.

William with Laura Brent.

William attended the World Premiere of the Voyage of the Dawn Treader on 30th November 2010 at the Odeon Leicester Square, London, UK. He was also later spotted arriving for the after party. I haven't seen the movie yet so I can't comment on the extent of William's role in this movie. However, he looked really dashing and dapper that night! ;-)

Photos are from www.westend.broadwayworld.com and http://granby.jscomm.net, respectively. See you at the movie!

Montreal or Toronto?

2010-10-01T06:55:00.000-04:00

Where is the movie "A Great Education" being filmed?

variety.com (posted 12th May 2010) and screendaily.com (posted 13th May 2010) say it will be in Montreal. Whereas, comingsoon.net (posted 12th May 2010) and hollywoodreporter.com (also posted 12th May 2010) say it will be shot in Toronto.

If fans are going to "stalk" them shooting, where in Canada are they to go - Toronto or Montreal? Does anybody know????? Hope we'll hear / read on the shooting developments soon!!!! ;-)

Meanwhile, here's a video clip of William announcing the nominees and winner for Best New Artist at the World Music Awards 2010 in Monte Carlo last 18th May 2010! I think he was stunning!

At the Teen Choice Awards 2010

2010-09-27T09:18:00.000-04:00

William Moseley and his "A Great Education" co-star Emma Roberts presented the Choice Music Country: Female Artist Award at the Teen Choice Awards 2010 held last month (August) in California.

Somebody posted a vid of them on You Tube and here it is!!

Emma Roberts' hair is dyed so black she looks so Spanish. I wonder if her character in the movie calls for a girl of Spanish descent?

Apparently, shooting for their film in Montreal has already started also last month although William was spotted having lunch with friends in Los Angeles, California on the 5th August 2010. Charismatic fansite posted 8 photos of him having that relaxed time with friends but most of them are not so flattering so I chose only two to post here. He looked a bit old and funny in the other photos. Apparently, he's been spending a lot of time in the beach in CA. Meanwhile, Charismatic has also updated the release date for the movie to be 2011.

Spot the shoes - those must be the closest to what he wears as flip-flops??
Photos are courtesy of Charismatic fansite. All credit goes to them and I thank them for continually updating us on what's going on with William.

Stand Up to Cancer

2010-09-27T08:38:00.000-04:00

William has recently joined the non-profit charitable organization Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) which aims to find "a cure for cancer as quickly as possible." In support of this cause he has appeared in a public service advertisement "Change the Odds" together with Zac Efron. I found a video of it on You Tube and it includes behind-the-scenes footage. You can view it here!!

I'm happy and proud for William being involved in this charitable cause!

Harvardian William

2010-05-21T18:46:00.001-04:00

Looks like this will be the "Harvardian" look William will be sporting for the movie "A Great Education"? Photos taken at the 2010 World Music Awards in Monte Carlo on 18th May 2010, courtesy of Charismatic fansite.

Hurray! It's Emma Roberts!!!

2010-05-21T12:16:00.000-04:00

Emma Roberts with Taylor Lautner (Jacob in the "Twilight" film series) on the set of "Valentine's Day", a box office hit released on Valentine's Day this year (2010). Besides Emma Roberts and Taylor Lautner, Emma's aunt Julia Roberts is also in the said movie, together with a string of other film heavyweights.

Woooooop! Comingsoon.net has updated their post on "A Great Education" and Hilary Duff is gone from the cast list and Emma Roberts and William Moseley have been added instead! It's confirmed, William will be in this movie and filming starts this Fall in Toronto!!! (I doubt if it can be released this year as claimed by Charismatic fansite though. Shooting in Autumn is a bit too late for a Christmas release.)

Yeeehaaaa!! I had always thought Emma Roberts is a more apt partner for William Moseley because of the "wholesome" history of both. Roberts really grew up in the TV series "Unfabulous" and it was one of the shows we used to watch at home when my children were younger, because it's a wholesome family show. In fact, my daughter holds her in high regard and has a DVD of Robert's movie "Nancy Drew", which she doesn't share with the rest of us! Besides, if "A Great Education" calls for singing, Roberts did sing and play guitar in "Unfabulous" quite a lot, and she's a singer and song-writer in her own right. I have also watched Roberts in "Aquamarine," a movie she made in 2006, and she's really awesomely wholesome in it. I think she's one actress who can really act and together with William Moseley, I think "A Great Education" would be A Really Great Movie!!! The added bonus is, with my daughter being a fan of Emma Roberts and me of William Moseley, we will have One Great Movie to look forward watching together. Saweeeeet!!! This is really, really Great News!!!

For those of you who would love to see William and Emma Roberts together in "A Great Education," please cast your vote in favor of Emma Roberts in the polls here. Enjoy and thanks for participating!! :D

Note: Charismatic fansite, the authority on everything William Moseley, also cited two other articles, one from variety.com and the other from screendaily.com. Both articles mention that lensing will be done in Montreal instead of Toronto as posted by comingsoon.net.

It's William's 23rd Birthday!

2010-04-28T02:32:00.000-04:00

Photos of a really, really young William Moseley.

Happy 23rd birthday, William!
(27th April)

You've gone a long, long way! May you have the best birthday ever and cheers for your ever-rising star in moviedom!!

It Better Be Soon! :-)

2010-04-24T21:15:00.000-04:00

A Jan 2010 photo of Duff from justjared.com

I can't find any more details on "A Great Education" movie except for those posted as early as May-June 2009. Crushable says the male lead actor has not been named yet. hduff.org says they are still looking for two male leads. On the other hand, Hilaryfan.com says the producer Laurence Mark also produced the movies "Jerry MaGuire" and "Dreamgilrs" before, as well as the 2009 Oscar ceremony. Meanwhile, this will be the first directorial job for Harvard educated Chris Keyser. Sounds all very upbeat so far. However, the same site also says filming was supposed to have started in October 2009, in Canada. So, looks like this is an overdue project. Hopefully, they would have made up their minds on the male lead role (the other male lead role having already been casted - Ben Kingsley) by now and this project will be on its way! Soon, really soon! It better be! (And with William in it.) :-)
Meanwhile, Charismatic fansite which has the latest news, says William's role will be "Charles" and the release date of the movie is 2010. Now that's really good to hear!

William Spotted Shopping

2010-04-16T21:26:00.001-04:00

William Moseley was spotted shopping in Hollywood last 9th April 2010. I read about it in Charismatic fansite. He looks quite sad and he looks gaunt and grown. I hope it's not because of his disappointment over "Ironclad" falling through. I would rather think he's shaping up for some role that requires him to look slimmer and older. Well, he has to suddenly "grow up" in looks if he is to take up adult roles, different from the Narnia roles he had in the past.

It is always this transition from teen roles to adult ones that many actors fail to make the jump. To name a few: The singer Mandy Moore from a cameo role in "Princess Diaries" to nowhere, the talented Christy Carlson Romano from the highly successful "Even Stevens" TV series and movie to nowhere, Hayden Christensen of the massive blockbuster Star Wars movie series, to lacklustre "Jumper" and a few others, and hopefully not to nowhere... to name a few. Hilary Duff herself has had a series of unheard-of-movies, though she's worth millions from her albums, tours, movies and mostly, fashion line revenues, since the conclusion of Disney Channel's "Lizzie McGuire" tv series. So, putting these teen idols - Duff and Moseley - together in a kind of young adult movie in transition to real adult roles, would be betting a lot on their teen crowd-drawing abilities. It does sound a pretty interesting project - a scholarly guy and a socialite pop singer girl put together - this "A Great Education" venture is. I really hope it does pull through, with William in it.

William looks a bit haggard in the shopping photos posted by Charismatic fansite but I notice his adult bone structure is starting to become more prominent. It's a bone structure similar to that of Brad Pitt and Robert Redford. Hmmmm, now that sounds really promising.I also like the fact that he has retained his dress style - tight-fitting dark pants and a loose shirt. Let's hope his longish hairstyle is in preparation for his intellectual look in the hoped-for movie "A Great Education."

I do hope the rumors of William being in it would prove true, and that he and Duff would boost each other's careers. But whatever the outcome, I still wish William all the best in his acting career and that he will be happy in his personal life as well.

William to Star with Hilary Duff?

2010-04-06T08:14:00.000-04:00

There’s a movie In Development titled, “A Great Education,” with Hilary Duff and Ben Kingsley in the cast, to be directed by Chris Keyser. It is rumoured that William will be in it too, as Hilary Duff’s love interest. Not many people are happy with this though because some don’t like her and because she is a singer and her first movies- “The Lizzie McQuire Movie” and "Raise Your Voice" - had a lot of singing, they think William will be singing with her in this one, too. On the other hand, many fans would also like to see William try his hand on something new. Well, what do YOU think? :-)

You can check out Coming Soon’s page on this movie "In Development," or IMDB’s. If you have an IMDBPro account, apparently, you can access more insider's scoop on this in-development project, such as its tentative cast.

I hope William lands a good role soon, whether it be in this movie or not!

Andrew Adamson Spotted in “Boy” Movie Premier

2010-03-27T20:47:00.000-04:00

Andrew Adamson directed The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and The Chronicles of Narnia 2: Prince Caspian. However, he decided to spend more time with his family and opted to be (only) inactively involved in the production of the next instalment to the Chronicles of Narnia movie series, “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”. He is believed to be in semi-retirement in Auckland with his family at the moment.

Since we moved here in October 2008 I had always hoped that one day I would kind of bump into him ^_________^ (bwaaaahaha!!!!) in some mall, supermarket, park, petrol station, etc. I don’t dare say social event because I am not of the social status that can be in the same event as he would be – like parents-teachers meeting, school gala, charity show, concert and yes, a movie premier!! And so, indeed, I haven’t had the freak “luck” to encounter him in my daily lacklustre routine, because I am 100% positive we don’t live in the same neighbourhood. (Another big bwaaaaahaha!!!) I’m sure he lives in some millionaires’ row somewhere, most likely in North Shore, though it could be as remote as Coromandel, too, where he shot the opening scene for Prince Caspian, together with the wonderful cast of that spectacular Prince Caspian movie, including of course, the actor we all long to see in the movies again – William Moseley!! ^____________^ (Hint! Hint! We want William back!!)

So, a movie entitled “Boy,” made by the Kiwi director Taika Waititi premiered here in Auckland last Wednesday, 24^th March 2010, and Mr. Andrew Adamson was spotted as one of the distinguished guests, together with a lady named Nikki Donald. Unfortunately, I can’t find a clue in the dubdubdub (Kiwi English for www) on who this handsome-looking lady is. I scanned the photo and put it up here, which I found in “View” magazine which comes with today’s, 28^th march 2010 Sunday, issue of The New Zealand Herald. The movie is about a boy who adulates Michael Jackson and thinks that his dad is some special person like his idol. However, it turns out his dad was in prison. When his dad came out of jail it turned out he wasn’t the kind of person the boy had in mind.

Director Andrew Adamson at work with Will and the rest of the cast of the Narnia "Prince Caspian" movie. Sometimes I wonder if he and William could be reunited in a project in the future. Meanwhile, Adamson is slated to direct the next fantasy-adventure "Fountain City".
