Hello once again

how is everyone out there today ??

are you having a good day or a bad day ???

well... for myself , i cant really answer that question now because i just got up and i never really faced the day yet ...... but i can assume, and from looking at the weather and realizing that i gots ta work today , it doesnt look like it will be a good one : - ) but whatever, i am learning how to appercaite the good ones and the bad ones because i feel that they are a part of life and you cant have the good days without the bad ..... let me explain ,

Most people measure their life in this world in a timelime ...... like in years or months or days, i dont agree with that, I measure my life by moments, it woulld explain why time seems to go faster when you are having fun or why time seems to slow down when you are bored. it would also explain why age isnt as importaint as we think because if a 60 old man whould lived a life with no defining moments then his life will not be as complete as a teenager who has had many moments ( Moments are like steps on a ladder called life ... the more you take the higher you go.)

Its sort of like life is a journey ...... If you have a life with no good or bad moments then it is like you are walking across a huge grassy field ... witch extends out as far as the eye can see in every direction, you will always be able to see far ahead so your trip will be a safe one ( no surprises ) but the journey will also be very dull and boring because you will always see the same thnigs and you wont learn much.

If you have many importaint moments in your life ( good and bad ) then it is like you are walking through a path in the woods, the path is not straight and the trees make it hard to see what is around the corner. During bad moments it seems like you are deep in a valley , far from the light ... or maybe even in a cave. During the good days it is like your trail leads you to the summit of a mountain top where the wind is cool and comfortable and the view is amazing

If you ever feel that your path takes you into a dark creepy valley fear not, its alright not to like it there. just dont stop walking ( it would be the equivalent of giving up ) some people feel so much pain in those valleys that they sit and hide or cry for days ( maybe not a waste of time but i would say a waste of life ) just keep walking only if its a few steps a day . Remember that those walks though the valleys serves a pupose. When your path leads you to your next mountain top you will appercaite it alot more because of that pain you felt before.Each mountain top will get better and better

and i guess that is the moral of the story ..... Bad Moments ( or days ) are just as importaint as the good ones because without the Bad there is no way to rate what would be a Good day. Good does not exsist without bad .... its like an ebb and flow ......... or ying and yang, so take it all in and experince it all ( just dont expect everyday to be average or you will find yourself walking in that feild i was talking about before

As for myself ........... the trail im walking now is nice , afew twists and turns but thats life.

you may be wondering if im in a valley or on a mountain top ???? hahahhahahahaha

im not telling .......

lets just say im learning how to fly ....... so even those mountain tops will be below me!

so let me ask you my second question again ......

are you having a good day or a bad day ?

Hello everyone

im back , so how is everyone doing out there today ??

as for myself ...... i seem happy

the illusion of fortune smiles on me , mainly from good karma i suppose.

OK .... here is a question for anyone who might be reading this

Do you believe in krama ??

first of all let me clear the air on what Karma is .........

Wikipedia Online defines Karma as

"Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kri, "to do", meaning deed) or Kamma (Pali: meaning action, effect, destiny) is a term in several Eastern religions that comprises the entire cycle of cause and effect, especially in moral terms. Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done and is currently doing. The effects of those deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

The law of Karma is central in Jainism, it forms the foundation of Jainism. A person is responsible for his own karmas, and is responsible for his own slavation. This in Jainism, there is no intervetion of any gods or prophets for salvation."

Just so you know ......... i am a believer in Karma , i tend to see lots of examples of Karma everyday,On a Worldwide level and even in this small home i call antigonish karma seems to dictate daily events from the news brodcast on T.V to the conversations i have with people ( just being aware of it is interesting i think )

that is why i tend to be very carefull about my actions, one must consider that we carry a responsiblity for our choices and the karma that ripples forth from it, the good and the bad ....... the big and the small ...... the first and the last. Upon certain situations I ask myself " does the presonal gratification i get out of these actions absorb any bad karma into my soul , " if the answer is yes i tend to stop those actions ( hahahhaha or atleast know that i will be held responsible for them : ) that is why i wont burn down that stupid sign by the dumpster at my workplace or assassinate the inventor of chez whiz ( oh yeah ..... I hate chesse whiz )

And for those of you who do not believe in Karma ............. so be it , i wont judge you ..... everyone is entitled to their own opinon, I think that it is easier to not believe in karma then it is to actually live a life that is bound by it , Human nature ( from caveman to today ) has always been very self - oriented. Kill or be killed , steal or be stolen from, cheat or get cheated, anything to ensure survival, I think people act this way because they are somewhat afraid of the unpredictible future that lays before everyone that is living on this earth , if things go bad in the future ( in any event imaginable ) then it is best to be ready, when the shit hits the fan they will be happy , even if it is at other peoples expense, Basically this whole paragraph can be chopped down to these 2 statements ..............

Non-believers of Karma rely on human nature to ensure their future survival ( or happiness )

Believers of karma assume that if they aware and responsible for their own actions they can control their future ( and happiness )

Both ways of living are good in there own ways i suppose and like i said before i will not judge people who think that karma is bull shit, i just happened to pick being a believer in Karma , not to say that i always believed in Karma but i think my life is better now .... after i became aware of it, Its sort of empowering when you realize you dont have to pray at church, be the most poplaur or committ crimes against others to obtain a salvation. I am my own God , responsible for my own actions , with these powers my future can lead to the garden of Eden or just as easily i could suffer a horrible wrath. Either way , i wont be surprised atleast i will see it coming.

Well ..... there you go

another little piece of my brain on a silver platter for you to taste.

try a bite, hopefully there is some nutrition you can absorb from it

use a knife and fork , chopsticks or feel free to use your hands

some bites might taste sweet , others salty or bitter

soon you realize that every bite is a different flavor ......... but thats the way i like it

hello again

Welcome back ..... its a sunny looking day out there today, sunny and hot. the type of day

that makes me not want to work, but to work is where i am heading, Oh well . i am sure the

time at work will go by fast when im there. plus i get the next 2 days off, that will be sweet.

Now that the highland games are over the town is about ready to return back to its normal

state, there were alot of people here to see the games this year but not as many as last year

( or so i am told ) either way there still were alot of people, and like i said before now

that they are gone the town will be lazy again til september. this week did go by fast though

and im glad of that, I perdict that this week will be like a bazillion times better ( i know im no

nostradamus but i stand by that perdiction )

I want to write more but i just looked at the time and its like almost time to get to work

so i gots ta go .......... if im late for work 1 more time they said they would cut off

some fingers ( and i think they are serious : )

but before i go i want to say goodbye to all those tourists that are leaving antigonsh

and i want to say hellooooooo and welcome home to the person i know who is coming back !

A day in the life of .............

What makes me write my first real blog today ??

I dont know , but here i am. Blogging away ( maybe its peer presure ) I dont know , and to be honest

i dont really care, today is Monday isnt it ??? yep it is ...... and to tell you the truth it is going to be a busy

day for me at my workplace, see... for those of you who are not from antigonish let me explain .... the highland games are starting up here and it is the biggest festival that this town has all year , tons of tourists .....

so for me that means tons of customers ...... Oh yeah , for those of you that do not know me .... i work at

Tim Hortons , it is a coffee and donut shop , actually its alittle more then that but this is really all you need to know ...

Not only do i pretend to work at Tim Hortons but i am also the baker there .....

the only real advantage to being a baker is that you get to wear a different costume then the rest of the staff

so atleast i dont feel like an Automaton : ) but i still feel alittle like im a slave to the donut, but oh well

Dont get me wrong ...... its not all bad , like a mixed blessing , i also enjoy certain aspects of my work .

I work with great people .... and i worked with great people too , most customers are nice ..... and plus the caffine is free while i work , mmmmmmmmmmmmmm caffine .

But i will admit I cant wait till this shift is over, returning home is also a good part of the day , because i get to return home to a great place , its hard to explain .... 45 Fairveiw is like a tale of its own, and all the characters

in this story are worthy and true ..... this ensures a great book .
