A registration deposit of $100.00 is required per week of camp.

Summertime Fun!!

There’s nothing like spending the entire day in the barn working with horses and learning the many things to know about them. This summer Willow Brook Ranch will be for the first time ever offering summer camps. There will be different themes such as; Cowgirl Up Weekend, Rowdy Kids Age 6-12, Horsing Around Age 13-18. Watch for publications on FB, Atlantic Rider, and right here on the WBR website page.

Winter 2010

Roundpenning is a great exercise for you and your horse.

It is the safest way for you to intially build a relationship with your horse. It helps you get control of your horses feet and gain respect without being attached to your horse. When you lead a horse with a lead line you are closer to the horse and have higher risk of being kicked, bitten or run over. The farther from the horse the less chance of you getting hurt. The more you drive the horse around the pen the more he’ll want to give you two eyes. Remember “Two eyes are better than two heels”! You will also find out how athletic, lazy, energetic and how willing your horse is to move forward and follow suggestions.
