Harvard University researchers wrote Aging Well: Surprising Guideposts to a Happier Life after following the lives of a randomly selected group of men and women for 50 years.

Harvard University researchers wrote Aging Well: Surprising Guideposts to a Happier Life after following the lives of a randomly selected group of men and women for 50 years.

One result of their study, apparently surprising to everyone but spa people, is that lifestyle is more important than genetics in determining longevity.

Strong social relationships and exercise are also key factors. The study found that people who kept their hopes high and kept their senses of humor tend to be happy.

That gave us the idea that you might be interested in some spa-related tips that, in the long run, will help you continue to age well and enjoy a happy a happier life.

Clean your palette. Where you live and work is your life’s palette. If it’s a mess, it’s hard to think. If it’s cluttered, there’s no place for new and better things. You might try to clean out some area of your life, and then step back and revel in how lovely it looks.
Maybe clean out your purse, your tote bag, your desk, your bedroom, even (if you’re feeling especially ambitious) your garage. It feels great.
Recently one of our spa guests told us she’d just cleaned out her closet, bought new hangers (the thin ones so there’s more room on the pole) and gave away all the clothes she hadn’t worn in years. She put a basket on the floor for extra hangers and when she takes a garment out, she deposits the hanger neatly in the basket.

Now, her whole closet looks beautiful. So, to celebrate, she treated herself to a Thalasso Kur Experience at Willow Stream.

Take a morning walk. This sounds simper than it is because in our stressed out lives, we don’t always make time to do the right thing it. A nature walk, a stroll down Broadway, even a power walk through an empty mall when it’s raining or snowing outside has all kinds of great benefits.

The first is oxygen. When you walk, you take deep breaths and that extra oxygen will give you energy, especially in your joints.
Apparently, as your legs move, good cholesterol is released in your blood, and that increases your blood circulation.

Walking also helps to relive stress. At this time of year, the morning air is the coolest it’ll get all day and that soothes nerves and releases mood-elevating endorphins.

Some people who aren’t especially active think that exercise will make them tired, when it is really the other way around.
Making a morning walk part of your daily routine give you a regular cardiovascular workout. You’ll feel good and look at life differently.

Summer projects are great. Planting an herb garden is a very simple one. One of our Willow Stream colleagues in Miami decided to do that and reports that he enjoyed digging the soil, shopping for the plants … the whole process.

“I was very excited. I started by planting in pots so I could move them if needed, with plenty of
water and sun. I’m happy to report my rosemary, lemon balm and sage are doing splendidly, like Audrey II, the man-eating plant in “Little Shop of Horrors”. Alas, the lavender didn’t make it.

He’s definitely going to do it again next summer and he invited us all over for a dinner: Rosemary Chicken with fresh rosemary right from the garden.

A ritual like planting an herb garden every year can surprise you. You find yourself looking forward to it, and anticipating giving your “extra” herbs to neighbors.

How about a stay-cation this summer? Summer usually means vacation, which is supposed to mean restful energy renewal.

If only.

Often it’s even more stressful what with packing, shepherding the family, sky-high expectations high, and so on.
So maybe this is the perfect summer for a mini- vacation at home. Just change your routine. Make it feel like you’re at a getaway and do things you never ordinarily do at home:

Take a plush towel and cover a lounge chair in your back yard. Prepare some ice tea with fresh mint and kick back with a good book.

Pamper yourself a bit. Buy some hot oil treatment for your hair, massage your scalp and wrap your head in a light cotton towel, and then relax in the sun and listen to something soothing on your iPod. Don’t forget to apply sun tan lotion.

If you must go on a real vacation (hopefully to a Fairmont Resort with a Willow Stream Spa), plan ahead and make your list of what you’ll need to pack for every day you’ll be there. We tend to over-pack and rarely wear everything. So under-pack and bring along things you can wear more than once.

Remember the definition of a vacation: n. holiday, fixed time in which public establishments (government offices, schools, etc.) and regular businesses cease their regular activities; period of time away from work devoted to rest and relaxation; act of vacating. Vacating all your stresses and devoting yourself to rest and relaxation sounds great, doesn’t it?

Surround yourself with music. Mix it all up, a little Beach Boys, Green Day, Alicia, Nora, Patsy Cline, maybe some Abby Lincoln. Classical is great, too. Spending time really listening to music puts you in a light-hearted mood.

Some of our Willow Stream Spas are offering combination aerobics and dance classes with very cool music for everyone to enjoy. When you’re dancing, you don’t even realize that you’re getting a great cardio workout, too. (Dancing all alone at home to great music is perfectly fine with us.)

Lighten up your diet in the summer. Cool salads and food rich in antioxidants are more than healthy; they actually make you feel great.

Sandwiches, fresh fish, barbeque (including vegetables) are all part of great summer cuisine. There are dozens of wonderful cookbooks that will help you plan a whole new kind of light summer meals.

Do something different with friends. Maybe take a course together or join forces and help a charity.

Some of our group decided that it would be fun to take painting lessons, so every Thursday evening they look forward to this new treat. They encourage each other and talk over new techniques they’re learning and they laugh a lot.

Now they’re considering salsa dance lessons for the fall.

Laughter is great medicine. Dr. Norman Cousins wrote that cancer patients should sit and watch Marx Brothers movies. Others have said that when you laugh, it heals everything that ails you. Avoid downers wherever possible.

All in all, making the summer light-hearted actually makes the summer. Think about being with friends and family, and maybe taking a class (that doesn’t require homework), plant a lovely garden, take a morning stroll. Listen to summer music and remember to take care of yourself first. Then you can help everyone else in your life.

Of course, we hope to see you at a Willow Stream Spa getting a relaxing massage, or reflexology, facial and a finishing manicure and pedicure too. Have fun!

Many of us wear sunglasses during the sunny summer months and then forget all about them during the other three seasons, especially north of Florida, Arizona and California. Sunshine is sunshine no matter the season, which is why experts recommend wearing shades all year around.

The damage sun can do to eyes and the tender skin around the eyes can be quite dramatic. Skiers and snowboarders know this so they wear sunglasses or tinted goggles on the slopes. We recommend carrying Kerstin Florian Rejuvenating Eye Creme in your purse for a quick refresher. It helps fight lines and wrinkles while firming the skin and reducing the appearance of dark eye circles. It also reapplies over makeup without smudging.

When looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses, keep these tips in mind. Find a comfortable pair (or several pairs) that fit your sense of style; look for lenses that filter out at least 99% of UV-A and UV-B rays; small sunglasses don’t do a good job of protecting eyes from sun damage and keeping the surrounding skin from wrinkling. You’ll look cool in your new shades and you’ll be protecting yourself at the same time. Talk about a win-win situation.

We can’t always escape the day-to-day hubbub by driving to a log cabin in the Québec woods or flying to an isolated beach on the Riviera Maya.

But with a few changes you can create a private sanctuary in your home, even if you live in midtown Manhattan, a sky-high condo in Toronto or a bustling soccer-Mom suburb.

How?

We asked some of our Willow Stream Spa experts for their own tips and here’s what they did to create their private sanctuaries.

Caroline determined that since her family spends about a third of their lives in bed, why not make their sleeping environments perfectly comfortable.

She started with new mattresses because the old ones were contributing to neck pain, backaches and sleeplessness.

Caroline changed their sheets and pillowcases to better material based on breathability and thread count; the higher the count, the better the quality. Fabric? Silk sounded sexy but high quality cotton and linen (flax) are better.

New duvets gave their beds a luxurious, cozy feeling. Caroline advises that in selecting a duvet it’s important to consider the temperature of the bedroom, the fill, weight, construction of the duvet… and color. Red is not restful; blues and greens are.

Tony from Scottsdale was inspired by Willow Stream’s secret fluffy test (a touch test we do at Willow Stream to ensure everything that touches our spa guest is soft, fluffy and in pristine condition). So Tony has made sure everything in his home is soft – robes, towels, pajamas, sheets, etc. Add a cup of tea and voilà!, you’ve created a sanctuary in your own home.

In order to make her home a sleep sanctuary, Alice from Bermuda closely followed the latest spa trends regarding getting better sleep. Alice learned that to improve the quality of sleep, try a velvet eye mask to block out all light; lower lights early in the evening to trigger melatonin in the body; avoid email, phone and work after 7:00 p.m. and take warm baths. (Alice loves Willow Stream Balance bath and body oil for its natural sedative effects.) Blackout shades and drapery clips will give you total darkness and quiet, especially if you eliminate anything that sheds light in a bedroom, an LED clock, for example. It also helps to avoid stimulants such as caffeine and stressful conversation before bedtime.

Joan from Banff made her bathroom a sanctuary with a dimmer switch on the lights, soft music, candles, aromatherapy, a great bath tub and shower, and a towel warmer for your secret fluffy-test towels and robes. Fabulous.

Making your home into a sanctuary is never going to replace the experience of Willow Stream Spa treatments but it will help you to plant the spa lifestyle firmly in the most important place in the world: right where you live. And that will help you find your energy.

Life can be such as interesting journey of connecting circles.

When I started my career 25 years ago, I worked for a company in Toronto that did a lot of tourism projects in developing countries. My first big assignment was to be part of a team to develop the first tourism strategy for the Sultanate of Oman.

The country intrigued me. It has an interesting history, quite different from other places in the Middle East. The clothes have an Indian and even African influence – at one time in the mid 1800s, Oman’s capital was actually way down the East African coast in Zanzibar.

The Portuguese controlled Oman for 140 years in the 1500s and 1600s. Their hilltop forts still create beautiful dark silhouettes against the sky at sunset. Oman’s famous carved doors are from the forests that are a rare resource in the Middle East.

Muscat Fort at Sunset

While I was working on the tourism study back in 1984, single women were not allowed into the country, so I didn’t get to see it in person.

Now I’ve come full circle. I finally got to Oman in September of this year to help with the new Fairmont hotel project soon to be under construction at “The Wave”- an interesting mixed use development with residential, our Fairmont Hotel and a Greg Norman championship golf course and of course our Willow Stream Spa – in Muscat, the country’s current capital.

It was worth the wait.

Oman is beautiful and I was struck by the openness of the people. A great young guide, Majid, took me to all of the sites and openly shared his views on life, what he and his friends enjoyed doing and lots of details of family life. I even met some of his friends over coffee. (He also really liked going to spas so that was very helpful information).

Majid, my driver in Muscat

At first glance, the scenery is similar to other parts of the middle east - lovely sand and sea – but there is an interesting effect of light and dark here. The land isn’t as flat as many other areas and this makes a contrast in the shades of sun and shadow throughout the day. Looking up at the hilltops, the historic forts are at times black against the sun and other times they sparkle with a golden flow of reflections. The same is true of the colors of the sand depending on the time of day.

Our Willow Stream spa here is being developed as an aqua thermal spa inspired by the healing waters of the sea and the detoxifying heat of the desert. All of its touch points will be in the Omani style. Rosewater and rose oil are very popular in all of our spas and I didn’t know that they are a centuries old tradition in Oman. Rosewater here traditionally comes in small copper bottles.

You will be hearing much more about this exciting project soon. In the meantime, I am delighted to have come full circle, after 25 years, once again working on hospitality in this lovely country. Wow.

I love this.

Pedicures give you a lot more than pretty feet. They can give you healthy feet with benefits like better circulation, reduced whole body tension, prevention of many foot problems like ingrown nails and athlete’s foot, plus your feet look and feel so great.

The US Surgeon General wants us to exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. For many of us, walking is a great way to do that. 30 minutes of brisk walking is about two and a half miles, about 4,000 steps. Add all those steps to your daily walking around and you’ve got some serious wear and tear on your feet.

Many of our regular Willow Stream guests have learned that the best thing they can do about wear and tear on their feet is to visit a Willow Stream Spa for a pedicure. Next best is a do-it-yourself home pedicure, Willow Stream style. Here’s what that entails:

PREPARATION

Sanitize your hands before and after your pedicure and, if you have broken skin, apply an antiseptic

Remove nail polish

Clip your toenails straight across, taking care not to cut too short. This will help prevent ingrown nails

File your toenails with a medium-coarse file

SOAK

Fill a bowl with hot water, adding, if desired: 1 cup of Epsom Salts for sore, tired feet or 1 tbsp of honey to rejuvenate dry skin. Willow Stream’s new Body Polish collection is perfect for an at home pedicure; this high quality spa product hydrates and soothes tired tootsies with a choice of scents.

Soak your feet for 10 minutes

Remove and lightly towel dry

SOFTEN

Using a pumice stone, gently rub dead skin off with extra attention to problem areas such as heels and the balls of your feet

Massage tired feet with an exfoliating scrub like Willow Stream Balance Aromatherapy Hydrating Body Scrub

Rinse and pat dry

Apply a heavy moisturizing cream (like Kerstin Florian Krauter FuB Balm) to soothe and cool

Gently push cuticles back using an orangewood stick

Remove moisturizer from your toenails with polish remover, if you’re going to apply polish

POLISH

Apply a clear base coat, then 2 coats of your favorite color, then a top coat

Remove excess polish from your cuticles. It dries the skin

TIPS

Wrap the tips of your nails with polish. When applying polish, be sure to bring it over the front edge of the nail and slightly under the tip. This helps prevent chipping

The secret to keeping nails from smudging: Dry time! Surfaces will feel dry to the touch after 10 minutes, but it actually takes an hour for nails to completely dry.

To maintain a fresh look, add a fresh layer of topcoat every other day

Wipe one side of the nailbrush on the inside of the neck of the bottle to ensure excess polish is removed. Then sweep the brush up the length of the nail in thin coats. Thick coats of polish bubble and peel.

A PEDI-PARTICULAR:

The word pedicure comes from the Latin words pes, which means foot, and cura, which means care. The history of pedicures dates back at least to ancient Egypt, so perhaps King Tut had the first pampering pedicure.

It is said that “the Kur” will help the body to restore its balance of minerals and nutrients. Your skin will be completely refreshed and your mind will be relaxed and alert. Our Willow Stream guests always rave about this treatment, and so we’ve decided to describe it here step-by-step.

These words won’t really help you understand the amazing feeling you’ll have as you step out of the spa. But, you might want to know exactly what happens, so here is the order of the treatment (we call them protocols):

• As you relax on the spa treatment table, your therapist applies a Spirulina Body Masque, leaving your face untouched. You will then be wrapped comfortably in a thermoplastic blanket covered with hot towels for 20 minutes while your body absorbs the protein, vitamins and minerals of the spirulina …

… and enjoying a delicate facial treatment. A moist masque brush applies a cool Thalassotherapy Spirulina Face Masque. (For very sensitive skin, this facial includes Thermal Mineral Remineralizing Face Crème.) Two Swiss beauty pads spritzed with Aromatherapy Neroli Water are placed over your eyes and your face is covered with a warming steamed towel. Neroli water, by the way, is an all natural floral water from the bitter orange blossom.

This stage of your experience winds up with a soft face massage, 16-point acupressure exercise and a light scalp massage. Then your shower.

To this point, everything has prepared your body for the Thalasso effect, the rejuvenating effects of the sea.

You step into a warm bath of Oligo Seawater, a concentrate that helps to remineralize and nourish the body, and Fucas Algae, which stimulates the circulation and nourishes the skin. You just close your eyes and they are covered with cool sliced cucumbers and you feel the toxins ( and stress) float away.

Fifteen minutes later, you are back on the spa treatment table, relaxing for a 20-minute massage with warmed Marine Firming Body Crème and Lavender Oil.

And, in 90-minutes, your energy is back.

You feel the maximum benefits of Kur Thalasso when treatments are repeated in a series for several days. This is one treatment you will want to take home with you so that you can get ever more benefits. All the products mentioned above are supplied to Willow Stream by Kirsten Florian, International (KFI) and are available in boutiques at Willow Stream spas.

I was asked to write my bio so that I could put it on our new Willow Stream Magazine and Facebook. I was having a tough time writing it so I started to think about what is important to me to say about myself.

So I wrote myself something that I would like to be quoted on:

A life with laughter and love is the only thing that is important – except for breakfast.

Maybe that’s my bio. I grew up in a family where love was never in question. My father not only loves but also adores his kids; it’s in his eyes. My mom is the funniest. My friends still laugh and remind me of things my mom did or said and she can still make her grandsons belly laugh like children (and they now have kids of their own).

My husband and friends widened this love and laughter circle and it touches everything I do. It’s how I get my own abundant energy – that and breakfast. (I’m not kidding about the breakfast). For me it is a symbol of taking care of myself and remembering that food, water and rest are the very basics of healthy energy. I learned that many years ago from Sandra Harding – my first wellness coach.

Every time I find myself in a bad mood (and it does happen), I realize that it is from one of three things: not taking care of my basics food, water and rest (usually rest), not having enough fun and forgetting to put the priority on feeling the love of live.

I think that Willow Stream’s philosophy evolved from that belief. I love this brand and we created it and keep creating it every day. It is all about providing places to help us build healthy energy so we can live well – with abundance and abandon.

We started in 2000 with research on how people felt about their health and how our spas could fit into this. Our first Willow Stream opened in December 2001 and we opened our 11th on July 4 in Monte Carlo with 4 more to come this year.

While they are ALL wonderful places to spend time focusing on our health – they are filled with amazing people who just show up – energized and engaged every day. Many of our leaders have been part of the shaping of this brand and its energy from the beginning.

Jill Eisenhut, for example. She is the Spa Director at Willow Stream Fairmont Scottsdale. That spa is so much a reflection of her commitment and she has been there from the beginning, creating her dream spa. I think her favorite word is team and the team she has built is just fun to be around. She can really cook, too!

Paul Hawko has been in Bermuda for the past 6 years, most recently as the Spa Director. He started with us in Banff as a therapist. He is going to move on to open the new Willow Stream in Vancouver at the Fairmont Pacific Rim which opens in January. Paul puts more hours into caring about his spa than anyone I know and he always appears so refreshed; we are all trying to find out his secret.

Michelle Young started with us lead aesthetician at the Fairmont Empress Willow Stream and went to Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn as a manager and then as Spa Director at Fairmont Turnberry Isle. She can create some of the best treatments and home care ideas ever and I have never seen her in anything but good cheer.

Maxime Cormier started in Mayakoba, Mexico and is now in Montreaux, Switzerland. He gave us the Willow Stream dance. Just ask any of our colleagues to perform this for you. It is now part of our orientation for new team members. He and I also have a fun competition going on for who can get to our best energy weight and fitness level. He is winning, of course.

I love hanging around Pam Ouellet. She is the Spa Director at Willow Stream Fairmont Banff Springs and you can learn more about her on our Facebook page as she just finished a triathlon with some of her WS colleagues. I can never figure out how you get so much energy in such a little body.

Our newer Spa Director additions include Trevor Studd in Singapore who joined us last year. He is already making a difference with the energy in his spa – check out his Energy Boot Camp. Michelle DeMelo, Spa Manager at Fairmont Empress, Roselia Flandes, Mayakoba and Rossi Nikolova, Monte Carlo are all bringing a youthful vitality to the team with fresh and exciting ideas for their spas.

They are all just fun to be around.

Fun also shows in our therapists and aestheticians. All of our service providers go though an “Energy Master” program where they earn credits towards that designation. Each year the top credit earners get to celebrate somehow. A couple of years ago, they went to Mayakoba for two days to learn new treatments and train with our product partners. Here they are in the pool with TARA learning some new technique? Tara has many treatments on our menus but created the locally inspired ones that are so popular in Mayakoba.

Yours in Laughter.

This signature treatment will help you find your energy, from your first relaxing breathing to the grand finale: a luxurious pressure point massage.

Some of you have asked exactly what happens during this amazing treatment, and so we will tell you here, step by step: Back Cleanse, Drizzle Oil and Breathing Exercise, Back Pressure Point Massage, Hands /Nails, Cleanse, Tone, Peel/ Exfoliate, Massage, Masque, Treat, Moisturize.

The spa bed has been carefully prepared for you with a crisp, clean cotton sheet, soft duvet, and three luxurious towels. An aromatherapy candle flickers, the lights are dimmed and soft music whispers. You lie face down, relaxing with breathing techniques.

Beside the bed is table with replacement sheets and towels, sponges, soft mitts and a tray filled with the world’s rarest essential oils, gels, scrubs, hydrators, crèmes, and masques.

Tranqwillow begins.

In your early state of relaxation, you feel the back cleanse and exfoliation proceed with the soft drizzling of warm Lavender massage oil up and down your spine, followed by energizing massage strokes. Ten minutes later you begin to feel your body lose it’s tenseness and the stresses of life seem to float away…

You turn over gently, close your eyes and Tranqwillow continues with a luxurious rehydrating facial for which you choose from three essential oils. You may also choose to supplement your facial with warm Lavender infused oil massaged into your scalp. The flow continues with a luxurious pressure point scalp massage. And you feel your energy awakening.

Three large effleurage strokes, beginning at the nape of your neck, herald the opening of a 10-minute Back Pressure Point Massage. Then the beauty elements: nail bed massage, masque, moisturizing.

The 90-minutes fly by and you are increasingly energized, ready to re-enter the real world.

Sometimes, getting a new spa ready for our first guests feels like the last minutes before the curtain rises on a Broadway premier. And that’s when everything goes perfectly.

What happens when guests show up unannounced before the spa’s 100% ready? That was precisely the scenario in Monte Carl a few weeks ago.

We scrambled, boy do we scramble. When things calmed down we realized that we really didn’t have to worry. All the careful planning and training kicked and everything worked wonderfully well.

Practice Practice Practice

For five weeks before the opening, Willow Stream therapists prepared for the big day. Many of them had come from Willow Streams all over the world.

They familiarized themselves with their surroundings, made sure the treatment rooms and all the accoutrements were perfect – that everything they needed to help guests find their energy was exactly where it should be. They also took time to learn the local experiences unique to this Mediterranean principality.

The companies that create many of the products we use in spa experiences came to train our therapists in their application. Then the therapists perfected their techniques by practicing on each other and on hotel staff who volunteered to pretend to be guests.

Normally, a top therapist has to practice a treatment at least ten times to perfect it.

Clean and then clean again

Our spa therapists and attendants have a lot to do before an opening. After construction, dust, training, they start finding places to store things, deal with managers changing their minds, make sure the thousands of new towels and sheets are washed, folded and stored, then cope with the big media event the day before the opening.

The chef and sous chefs create unbelievable culinary presentations for media day while the spa attendant team shows up early in the morning to deep clean the spa and then do it all again later in the day so we can open in the morning.

Opening day forgetfulness

Every opening day at every Willow Stream in the world, the same thing happens: for the first few hours, everyone forgets everything they’ve learned, practiced and trained for. At least for the first hour or two. We always have lots of expert support to jump in when this happens and it did happen in Monte Carlo.

And Day One was a bit of a panic from time to time as we were much busier than anticipated, for a very good reason. We try to think of everything when we plan an opening but the one thing we never know for sure is exactly when opening day will be. Naturally, opening day turned out t be the 4th of July which is when the famous Tour de France bicycle race kicks off in Monte Carlo. So, what with all the media events at Willow Stream and half the world’s sports media in town, we had a full hotel, a full spa, impossible transportation and … well, lots going on.

In a spa’s early days, we have only about 50% of our menu available and we phase in the rest phase in over the first few weeks. So, naturally, five guests, three sisters and two of their husbands, all wanted the same signature treatment at the same time.

Day two was a wonderful relief, still busy, but much calmer as everyone’s memory, practice and training kicked in.

This is a picture of everyone scrambling to get ready. Apart from bit of confusion about whether tea was included, all went well.
This is the view of the Tour de France around the famous hairpin turn just below the Willow Stream during our opening. We peeked occasionally because it is such a huge event but our therapists and attendants remained focused on spa. “Tour de France? How interesting.”
Inspired by the Energy and Magic of Monte Carlo

Willow Stream’s newest spa is located inside the Fairmont Monte Carlo in the heart of Monaco. There’s magic here: artists have long treasured the light and colors. International travellers have made this wonderful place a watchword for luxury. Outstanding service and accommodations are standard in Monaco.

And the Willow Stream fits in perfectly as do all 11 Signature Willow Stream spas in hot destinations around the globe from Singapore to Dubai, Montreux, Bermuda, Miami and the Mexican Riviera.

As the finely tuned Formula One cars (or the Tour de France bicyclists) race through the twisting streets of this Mediterranean principality, you’re in the perfect spot.

You’re six floors above the hairpin turn, turn number 6, and you are seated comfortably in a pedicure chair … actually getting a pedicure as you gaze down at the action and the crowds!

In Monaco, the Willow Stream is part of the 45-million-euro refurbishment of the legendary hotel and offers authentic, personalized experiences such as the unique Monaco Power of the Sea and Reflections of Cyan. There is a fully equipped fitness centre and a roof deck with a panoramic view. The ambience incorporates sparkling sea glass throughout to reflect the sea-energy of the Mediterranean.

Drenched in the amazing colors of Monaco and 900 square meters (10,000 square feet) of the amazing natural light, the spa is complete with eight large treatment rooms and a manicure/pedicure nail spa. All dazzle in deep sea greens, aquamarine and cool sapphire and cyan.
