New Album Titled: Shades of Red Streaks of Blue (in production)

Yes finally the new album SHADES OF RED STREAKS OF BLUE is being produced. Needless to say it should have been out fall of last year but better late than never.

This album features 10 new songs, 1 from 2005 which landed on this one, and a short 12th track demo of sorts.

New album being mixed and mastered-August 2013

New album with running title “Shades of Red Streaks of Blue” is currently being mixed and mastered. This album has a bit more Rock Pop edge to it with a couple acoustic only tracks. Most all the electric, 12 string acoustic electric, and bass were layed down by myself. Rich added his signature lead solos on a few tracks, cool slide electric , and bass on two tracks. Brian Young adds his killer skills on the drum tracks with his Ludwig set !!! and his Pearl set on a few tracks. Some really great stuff all in all. I am very pleased shall we say. The CD album artwork needs to get off the ground. Trying to fast track all these processes to get the album finished.

Woodshedding New Songs 8/25/2011 and studio info

Really been working on the new songs for my next album. Summertime always seems to be hard time for me to write and finish songs. Just been been doing what I can to inspire myself to write. I plan to start studio recording rough cuts in the next few months. Looking forward to 2012 release of the new music.

As far as musicians on the upcoming recordings is yet to be decided. I will be working with Rich Mcculley in the studio. On the last album The Remission Sessions Taras Prodaniuk(Dwight Yokum, Lucinda Williams, among others) did all the bass guitar. I may lay some lines myself this time. Drums and percussion was handled by Brian Young who is currently on tour with his band Fountains of Wayne(who have a new album out!) so depending on timing he may or may not be on the upcoming album. Lots of great cats out there though. I will most likely use some keyboard/piano on a few tracks. Dennis Hamm laid done some very cool stuff on the last album not sure if he will be available this time around. Anyway it should be alot fun when the time rolls around.

Working with Duff Furguson on the photo and eventually artwork for the upcoming album The Remission Sessions. We are looking for old LA buildings and or bridges to get a good old LA vibe.

We are planning to get an old Los Angeles Sepia effect for the album. We shall see what happens.
