"How to Get Your Prayers Answered" - Bishop Martin Wilson, Th.M

Isaiah 55:8 kjv For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

When dealing with God we have to seek the Holy Spirit's guidance so that we don't miss God trying to interpret him according to our carnal understanding.

To 'ask', according to our form of asking, when dealing with God is incorrect. To ask God for anything imply two incorrect assumptions that are contrary to scripture.

1. It implies the idea that you don't have what you're asking for.

2. That your desire is separate from you and you from if.

2 Peter 1:3 kjv According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Just because something has not yet taken on a visible appearance in your reality does not denote the absence of the thing in your reality.

The verse declares God has given, past tense, us everything that pertains to life and godliness. Please understand, God is not impersonal, that is speaking of him giving each person specifically just what they need for their life.

To 'ask' God, according to our definition of asking, for anything his Word says he has already given would indirectly imply God is a liar.

James 4:2 ... ye have not, because ye ask not.

So how do we 'ask'?

We have to ask in Faith.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Ask in Faith is not acknowledging the absence of our desire, but it is the very opposite. Asking in Faith is not asking at all as we know it.

Asking in Faith is:

Acknowledging that what I desire God has already given and thanking him for now allowing it to appear in my reality.

Everything is ours right now! However, it won't and cannot manifest until we can ask in Faith nothing wavering, having no doubt that it exist, it's already mine and I can have it.

CELL churches

In healthy Cell Church model there is a balance between Cell (small group meetings) and The Celebration (corporate gathering).

When we speak about a Cell Church we are talking about a relationship-based church. Everything in the church functions through and around cells and the relationships of the individuals in the group.

Traditional Churches

Traditional churches fall under the category of:

Program-based church: programs are formed to need needs.
Entertainment-based church: people come to get there weekend spiritual high.
Content-based church: where the church is a "teaching Center" for people that attend.

In cell churches is the goal of the small groups is to develop of model for people:

to be connected to God
to be connected to one another
to raise up disciples in relational manner.

It is not until we find ourselves doing these three functions that we can honestly say that we are fulfilling the Great Commandment and a Great Commission.

The main key to knowing The heart of God is in understanding theologically what the heart of God is.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: - Philippians 2:5

When the bible speaks of the 'heart' it is speaking of the mind, will & intellect.

The heart of God is the character of God, made available to man through the progress of salvation & sanctification.

I have seen many people miss the heart of God because of low self-esteem.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: - Philippians 2:5-6

Having the mind of Christ is having the heart of God. That means knowing who you in Christ as it relates to you position as a child of God. We must be Children of God that serve, not just servants.

Leaders Cannot Afford To Listen Everyone Claiming to be a Prophet - BishopWilson

So often in ministry Senior pastors are approached by gifted people who claim to hear from God. The first indication that you should look for is can they handle rejection with humility. How will they accept you telling them NO. If their first reaction Is to become angry and want to leave the ministry this is a clear indication that this person is unseasoned.

Numbers 11:17 I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone.

In the Bible it shares a story of God taking of the spirit that was on Moses and placing it upon the 70 Elders so the work of the ministry would be done more efficiently. I would say that issue is never with the Word of God being spoken through another person, as much as it is understanding and taking the time to discern does that person have the leader's heart/spirit.

If you pour clean water (Word Of God) through a dirty filter (person who refuses to submitted to pastoral leadership) the water will be contaminated. I think this is why God told Moses to choose out 70 men that you know to be Elders, or people that you are familiar with it and have had the time to built rapport with.

As a senior leader you cannot afford to listen to everyone that says that they hear God. The Bible instruct us to try the spirit (man) by the (Holy) Spirit to see if it be to God.

Hearing God

John 10:1-6 KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

Human Ear

The human ear is an intricate and delicately balanced structure of the body. We are able to detect, differentiate, filter and identify sounds coming into our ears.

The human ear is an incredible and invaluable part of the human body. It goes without saying, but without our ears, we would not be able to hear.

The human body has two ears and they are located on the lateral sides of the skull. They are not overly large but some people tend to develop bigger ears than others do.

Did you know that your equilibrium, the soucre of your balance, is located in your ears? Your equilibrium not only gives us balanced, it also tell you when you are in movement.

Outer Ear

The outer ear has one great purpose in life and that is to catch sounds and funnel them into the ear, it also amplifies the sounds that it catches.

The sound is then funneled through the ear canal where if anything other than sound like debris is filtered out by tiny hairs and earwax.

The sound then makes it to the eardrum. Past the eardrum is the middle ear.

Middle Ear

The middle ear consists of three very tiny bones that are called the ossicles. It is these three little bones that take sound and turns it into vibrations.

Each ossicle has a name and they are all connected together.

Inner Ear

The inner ear has a very important job. It takes the vibrations created by the ossicles and transmits them to the brain through tiny microscopic hairs that are in a gelatinous fluid.

Not only does the inner ear send the sounds to the brain it also keeps the body’s equilibrium. This is what keeps you from falling over when you walk. It even helps you distinguish which way is up when your under water.

The word hear is a verb that literally means not only to hear but to listen.

This were the church has to get, at a place were our hearing turns in to a listening.

John 14:15 AMP If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.

When your a hearer and not a listener there is no real love or obedience.

James 1: 22-24 AMP Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are a listener when you are anything but, letting the Word go in one ear and out the other. Act on what you hear! Those who hear and don’t act are like those who glance in the mirror, walk away, and two minutes later have no idea who they are, what they look like.

This verse is telling us if your going to take the time.

- to get out of bed,

- but your good clothes on,

- get in your car

- drive across town to the church,

while your here hear God's word.

Don't just come to church because that is what you were taught makes you a good Christian. Coming to church has never saved anyone.

Romans 10:2,3 GNT I can assure you that they are deeply devoted to God; but their devotion is not based on true knowledge. They have not known the way in which God puts people right with himself, and instead, they have tried to set up their own way; and so they did not submit themselves to God's way of putting people right.

True Salvation is your devotion to God. Many have substituted their devotion for God to being devoted to the church, to our offices in the church.

Why? Because when people can't hear God, they always look for a substitute.

Gen. 2:16-17 KJV And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Listen, they were in a garden and there were tree all over the garden.

But why is it we always want what we are told to stay way from?

And we are even willing to take the chance of dealing with the consequences. God said when they eat they would surely die.

Listen it was not just the fact that Adam did not obey God, the first thing obedience demands is that you hear, listen and comes obeying.

James 1:22 GNT Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice.

Never has there been a time as it is now in the church, we have more word and more revelation of the word that ever before, but little to no practice, which literally means no application.

As powerful as God and his word is, if we are not hearing and hearing turns to listening and the listen moves us to act or application we make even the Word of God of none effect.

(Psalm 37:30, 31 KJV) The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

When we truly hear God, our steps or ordered by the Lord.

The drama that many people experience in their life is simply their spirit feet slipping as a result of not being clear on what God's word says about what they are dealing with.

When God word is in your heart, this verse says that our mouth will speaketh, meaning continuously, meaning often the wisdom of God.

Very important that you understand that a person speaking knowledge and a person speak wisdom are not the same.

Proverbs 1:2, 7 KJV To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding; The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

These verse gives us three important elements of learning any thing.

Instruction/ knowledge

Understanding

Wisdom

Knowledge is the information that can be learned or understood.

Understanding is the comprehension of information.

Wisdom is the ability to apply that which has been learned.

Romans 10:13-15 KJV For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Jeremiah 3:12-16 KJV Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. 13. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. 14. Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 15. And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16. And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

Had a dream this morning. I woke up still talking in my sleep. Tammy said was saying, "I tried to slam the door on the ship but it would not close". In the dream I was trying to slam a large white door. The door would not cloes. The Lord said the door represents the "Door of Opportunity" on the "Ship" or vessel designed to take me higher. It was open & no man, including myself, could shut or stop the next move of God. - Bishop Wilson

One of the first things God said about man is that is not good for him to be alone. We in our limited thinking have closed the interpretation of this verses to just the meaning man having a
wife. It is not good for man to be alone because we need accountability!

Accountability and Unity of the body of Christ supersedes all other goals and plains. It does not matter if you are and apostle, bishop or just a pastor, you need someone you can trust to be a voice of encouragement a well as correction.

Spiritual islands always get lost in the storm because they are not attaches to a larger body.

The church universal must learn this lesson and be willing to seek others to be accountable to.

The human mind thinks in pictures. If I say "Red Roses" immediately without delay in your minds eye you see our interpretation of red roses.

It is so important that you learn to control the mental pictures that you hold in your mind, especially concerning challenges that you face. If you have a struggle that you are in and you daily hold a picture of that situation getting worse or youself not going to be able to come out, then that picture has the power to block the flow of God's power to change the situation. That negative imagine is manifestation of Doubt; doubt is unbelief.

Mat. 13:58 speaks of Jesus being in a city were they people doubted Jesus. It says, "...he could not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."

These people had more faith in their mental picture of sickness than in God's ability to health them. This is still happening in the church today, peoples mental pictures, produce by doubt is greater than their faith to believe God can change their situation.

Use your imagination to build your faith and not destroy it. See in your minds eye by faith, God moving on your behalf and bring healing and deliverance to you!

This is what the woman with the issue of blood did, she saw herself touching Jesus and when she activated her faith by "speaking" what she saw in her imagination, "she said within herself (imagination) if I can touch the hem of his garment I will be made whole."

YOU WANT SPEAK UNTIL YOU SEE IN YOUR IMAGINATION BY FAITH WHAT YOU DESIRE GOD TO DO!

Change the pictures and change your entire life.

Coaching Tip #1 The Truth - Apostle Sage

The bible declares that the truth has the power to make you free. However, I think we have not grasp the fullness of this principle.

If you find out the facts about a situation it may give you inside but yet still not free you spiritual. An example of that would be the person that is in a relationship and finds that their parnter is cheating on them. The fact are there, but that does not have the power to free them. They can leave the relationship, but that doesn't free them.

The truth that frees you will not be the truth from outside, it will be the truth that you learn about yourself as a result of the experience. It not only frees you from the present relationship it gives you the power to remain free from future relationships that would not be good for you; if you truly learn the lesson.

The truth that makes you and can keep you free is the truth you learn and are willing to hear about yourself.

Faith & Imagination - Apostle Sage

Wishing for something will do us very little until the imagination, the creative power of God in man, is employed.

William Shakespeare said, "that which is was wished until it were."

The bible says it like this, "knowing that, things which do appear were not created by things which do appear."

Things that you desire to see manifest in your life do not have their origin in the stars, but in the heart of the one desiring it.

What is imagination? Imagination is the ability to see with the minds eye, sometimes call the third Eye, things that do not presently exist or have not happen yet.

True Faith demands that we introduce the creative facilities of our imagination. In what other way can we, "call things that be not as though the were". What that is asking you to do is to believe in what does not exist enough to call it forth out of the realm of infinite possibility, were all things exist NOW, but only in thought form.

It is in the realm of infinite possibility, we call the heavenlies, that all things exist awaiting us to get a thought that spars the creative flame of the imagination.

Imagination is the link that God has given us so that we can bring things which do not appear into the nowness of our present reality and out of the thought realm.

Whatever you desire and are willing to give focus, energy & intention can and will manifest in your reality. But you have to believe (faith) from the end; imagination it as already done.

Believing from the end is me getting in the "feeling tone" of already having what I desire before it shows up.

Example, this is me imagining what it feels like to be on the beach, or any were you desire, while you don't have the money to go. But you don't worry about the money knowing that imagination is hook to the realm of infinite possibility were the money exist to make it happen. Also you understand, if I go there enough in spirit I will some go there in the natural.

Faith is believing before you have what you desire. Imagination is seeing the end result of your faith. WOW, what a powerful team if worked together!

How MANY SICK PEOPLE DID JESUS SEE?. - Apostle Sage (12/19/11)

Sounds like a weird question, but for Christ to be our example he had to have a pattern that could be followed.

The question that helps us find the pattern is this, "HOW MANY SICK PEOPLE DID JESUS SEE"?

Now the natural mind would immediately say thousands, because Jesus healed so many. However, the answer can't be found in the natural view point of the situation.

To answer the question, "how many sick people did Jesus see", the answer is, Jesus didn't see any sick people. What do I mean for healing to take place the focus has to be on the end result desired and not the present situation.

The bible says that we should walk by faith and not by sight. For us to do that we have to see e every person we meet as the perfection for which God called them to be.

You can never help a person as long as you can not see past were they are. When Jesus healed the lame man, the told him take up your bed and walk. In other words, get up and do what you were created to do. Notice he never acknowledged the man's problem. I can not recall one incident were Jesus acknowledged the sickness, he only said what should be.

He would not even acknowledge that death was present. In one story, when referring to death, Jesus said, he is only sleeping.

If God is going to be able to use you to heal anyone in any capacity you have to see people from the "end result", and give no energy to were they are.
