I gave myself a deadline of New Years day to finish messing with the website, and that day is here. For not having much knowledge on how to do this, I think I did a pretty good job. Visit my Links page for some of the WordPress plugins that allow a novice like me to accomplish this. There are a few more things I want to do, and some kinks to iron out:

I need a banner, or some type of styling for the top.
Apparently having two WordPress loops is a tricky thing, and the “recent drawings” one up top just doesn’t work when you navigate away from the main page.
I haven’t found a way to vertically center the content on the Recent Drawings bar
I’m going to do more stuff with Google Friend Connect and Facebook Connect. One thing I want to do is find a way to display only the drawings that were posted since the last user visit.

So, if anybody has any help/tips/fixes/advice/know-how/etc. on how to accomplish these things, or if you have any suggestions for stuff to add, Contact Me!

Hands On

This drawing was displayed at the Dirty Show 10.5 in Detroit, MI (September 25-27, 2009). The size is about 30×15 inches. The focus of this drawing is on the hands, which can be one of the toughest part of the body to draw.
