Twitter is growing quickly, but the big question is how to make money. The simple way is to put ads on it. Recently, there are at least 2 new ads appeared. They are Federated Media’s Microsoft microsite ExecTweets.com and Universal Studios’ CinemaTweets.com. It’s not clear how much would it costs to put ads on Twitter. It’s definitely a good start. Twitter needs to be profitable in long term. I think most users don’t mind.

Several rumors said Apple is going to drop NVIDIA. NVIDIA graphic chips are currently used in Apple’s Mac. Closed source of NVIDIA said the relationship with Apple is fine. Apple is still buying the NVIDIA graphic chips and chipsets. Nothing is changed. Your new Mac will still be cool.

A closed source from Microsoft has confirmed Windows 7 RTM will be there on 13th July. It will be the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC). As usual, TechNet, MSDN and other partner connections will be able to get the RTM shortly after the WPC09. Source also said Microsoft will keep on solving bugs. No one wants the “Vista tragedy” happens again.

iPhone Dev Team wants more people to get iPhone 3GS before releasing the new jailbreak tools. On the other side, Geohot thinks it’s not worth to wait. He has released the first iPhone 3GS jailbreak tool at here. It’s still in early beta, but Geohot will try everything to help if possible. Currently the tool works for Windows only, Mac version is coming soon.

Once the iPhone 3GS is jailbroken, it’s highly possible that you can unlock it with ultrasnow. Note these tools only works on iPhone firmware 3.0 but not the 3.1 beta. iPhone Dev Team have also released the video to show you the unlocked iPhone 3GS. I will probably get one since it’s free from any network now.

A security expert said iPhone has a serious SMS security exploit. Hacker can use it to detect the iPhone location using the GPS. Phone conversations and SMS may be tracked. Apple has the plan to fix it later this month. How the hackers can use the exploit is not exposed to the public. Come on, hackers. Track my stupid SMS log, now.

FriendFeed, the multi-social networks tool, have introduced a nice feature today. When you search something, the new results will be displayed instantly. There is no need to refresh the page again and again to see the updated results. It’s pretty good because people are talking the topic you searched continuously.

In Twitter, it will only display a yellow bar to show you there are something new. Will Twitter introduce similar feature in the future?

Facebook team is currently working for the new version of Facebook for iPhone. The biggest difference is that the user interface is changed. With different big icons on the main screen, you can choose different functions easily. But, the team said there won’t be push notifications support in this new version. They are still working and hope it will be there very soon. Here are the updates,

By looking the patent applications, you probably can guess how the future products look like in the future. Apple has filed a few new patent applications including Haptic tactile feedback, fingerprint identification and RFID tag reader. Haptic display technology allows users to feel the tactile feedback. Fingerprint identification brings innovative controls that you can press the screen with different ways for different actions. Personally I only concern the hardware specs of the future iPhone 4G….

When iPhone 3GS has the video shooting feature, I expect some people would shoot a film by it. Video recording is not a new thing on mobile, of course, but since iPhone 3GS is popular, it would make noise if you use it wisely. Filmmaker Steve Ellington has just used the iPhone 3GS to shoot the music video Technologic Overkill. Can’t wait to see him to use 3GS to shoot a movie in the future….

If you hate the local AT&T iPhone 3GS is SIM locked, find a friend in Australia. Apple has started to sell the officially SIM unlocked iPhone 3GS in Australia. You are not required to sign contract with any carrier. Just pay US$709.56 (A$879) if you want to buy the 16GB black. I expect more SIM unlocked iPhone 3GS available in eBay very soon.
