The two bigeest issues on people's minds these days are the economy and the environment. The great thing about what I am about to tell you is that it adresses both concerns. With solar and wind power for residential purposes we can not only cut the costs on rising energy prices but also help the environment by using these clean and renewable energies.

Most of us would agree how great it would be to be energy independent and to use a power source that will not harm our planet but are afraid of how much these power systems would cost us.

But the best way to get solar and wind power for your home is actually to make it yourself. Now before you close this page because you think it will be too hard and too confusing to make your own solar panel, hear me out. You do not even need any experience in this area to make your own solar or wind powered system. All you need to know is how to follow instructions.

If you do any kind of search online for plans on making your own solar or wind power you will find a lot of different products that claim to help you with this, but trust me, most of them are a waste of time and money. There are a lot fo factors and variables that go into making your own solar panel and you want to get it right. You don't want to waste precious hours of your time working on something that will barely give you any energy output.

When making your own wind turbine it is important to take into consideration how windy it usually is at your home. Many of these wind turbines are put on towers or poles that are way up in the air above the tree line, so as to get the most out of those wind currents above us. This ensures maximum efficiency with your wind powered project.

Wind is one of my favorite sources of energy because unlike solar it is always working; all night long and all day long. If you want you can also buy a wind turbine kit for your homebuilt system and get a head start on using renewable energy to see if it's something you would like to pursue.

The energy crisis. No doubt you've seen your power increase several times recently, I know I have. I wanted to lower or eliminate my power bill, so I did some research into renewable energy solutions. I found there are three main types of renewable energy that I would look into taking advantage of: solar energy solutions, hydro energy solutions, and wind energy solutions.

The sun's energy is the most abundant and easiest to collect energy source available. There are many large scale solar collectors being built all over the world, but it's also very scalable so we can make home solar panels as well. This will not only cut down power bills but also help you contribute to a greener world.

Home solar energy systems have many advantages apart from being cost-effective and environment-friendly. They are low on maintenance and can provide a relatively quick ROI (return on investment) compared to other renewable solutions. They can pay for themselves and even turn a profit within several years.

Home wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a useful form using wind turbines. Wind energy is plentiful, renewable, and clean, although the construction of wind farms is not always welcomed because of their looks.

If you want to get into renewable energy, solar power and wind power are the best options for the average home. A home solar power system will generate power all day, while the home wind power system will generate power whenever the wind is blowing. These systems compliment each other, making up for each others weaknesses.

I decided to go with a solar/wind solution. I called around my city to get some price quotes, but they were in the thousands! I went searching online for a cheaper solution and found quite a few DIY solutions. They show you how to build your own homemade solar panels and wind turbines.

I bought three of these products and thought I would share my experiences with the internet to save everyone else a lot of time and money. Some of the products had very sparse or overly-technical instructions, while some had very clear step-by-step directions.

You can dramatically decrease your power bill with a home solar system or home wind power system. Click here to see my reviews of solar power and wind power products and see which ones are the best value.

Fed up with paying high prices for your electricity?
Do you want to beat the energy crisis?
Do you want to make free energy for your home?
With wind power for homes you can build your own wind generator and produce enough electricity to power your entire home. It is easier than you may think to build your own wind generator and start to make free energy for your home. Most of the parts needed can be purchased locally from hardware stores and you can even use auto parts.

Wind power for homes is nothing new and windmills have been around for hundreds and hundreds of years in one form or another. These days they are not just used to grind corn into flour, but to produce great quantities of electricity to power homes and industry. And do not be confused by all the different names that they go under these days, (Windmills, Wind Generators, Residential Wind Turbines, Windmill Generators,) they are all one and the same and they all have exactly the same purpose, and that is to make free energy.

So why should you build your own wind generator when it is possible to just go out and buy one of the residential wind turbines that are available on the market? One simple answer is ?the cost?. If you were to buy one of the residential wind turbines or have a commercial wind generator installed on your property it could cost you thousands of dollars. But with wind power for homes it is possible to build your own wind generator for a fraction of that price.

If you opted for a professionally installed wind generator or purchased one of the residential wind turbines it could take years before you would see a return on your investment. When you build your own wind generator you could see a return on your investment much much sooner, and be able to make free energy in a matter of weeks, if not days. Even if you use the highest quality materials available when you build your own wind generator the final price would still a fraction of what the commercial residential wind turbines would cost you.

Electricity that is generated by wind power is one of the cleanest and most environmentally friendly forms of renewable energy today. With wind power for homes you are not only able to make free energy for your home but you can also pat yourself on the back for doing your bit to help stop global warming by producing your own clean energy.

It is so easy to build your own wind generator and any Do-It-Yourself enthusiast can make one using simple tools, you do not need to have any special skills and there are detailed guides and instructions available to show you exactly how to go about it. Many of these instruction guides can be found on the internet and I have found three of the top ones.

Electricity produced by wind turbines is green power in that it causes no environmental pollution. No greenhouse gases which contribute to climate change are produced either. Wind power generation can be on a large scale, which is the case with most commercial projects,or on a small scale as with home owner turbines.

Wind is the cheapest form of renewable energy without a doubt. Solar energy is also clean, green, power but is more expensive and limited in output. Solar panels are presently expensive in relation to the power they can produce. Nuclear energy supplies a lot of the power requirements in some countries, notably in Europe.

There is however much public opposition to building new nuclear power plants.

In the USA natural gas is the biggest form of new energy production. Wind power is the next in line. In 2008 wind turbines will produce about 1% of the United States power needs. Around 30% of new energy production installed in 2007 was wind power.

Many consumers now realise that green energy must be our highest priority in future,if we are to minimise climate change and it effects. The trend to building fossil fuel powered generating stations must be reversed.

Home owners and farmers can help with the transition to clean power by installing small wind turbines to supply all or part of their electricity needs. These turbines can be purchased from a number of manufacturers and can be installed as a rooftop wind turbine or on a small free standing tower.

Commercial wind turbines are quite expensive in relation to power output. A better solution for many is to build their own low cost wind turbine. A good turbine can be built from auto parts and a few odds and ends at very low cost. Plans and instructions are available for this project.

Any excess power production can be sold to the power utility in many areas thus reducing the cost even further. Power can also be stored in batteries for use when the wind is too light. Even a light breeze will however produce power.

The average home owner can easily build a small wind turbine or several of them to supply part or all of the power required. All that is needed is simple tools and some auto parts and wood. Several can be built for the cost of one commercial wind turbine.

Not a bad business also for anyone who wants to make them for resale. The demand for a low cost turbine is there and can only grow in years ahead.

Why not build your own wind power turbine now and produce your own free green electricity. You will be doing mother earth a favor by reducing atmospheric pollution. This is an idea whose time has come.

Home wind power is one of the best ways that you could possibly go if you are looking to save money and help the environment at the same time. The wind power industry is booming and you should get in on it as soon as possible. In this article, I am going to tell you why wind power is so great and how you can get started with your own very easily.

The first reason why wind power is growing so quickly is because it is totally renewable energy. This means that the energy comes from a source that will never run out. There will always be wind power available, because there will always be wind available. This is what makes wind power so attractive to many home and business owners.

Solar power has long been a very popular form of renewable energy, but wind is actually starting to take preference. Many governments from countries all over the world are looking at wind as a legitimate source of energy in today?s tough world economy.

The second reason why it is so great is because it is extremely accessible. Literally anyone can buy some materials, get some windmill plans, and starting building a home windmill that will power their home or business. The process is simple and millions of people all over the world have already started doing this.

Sure, some places in the world have more wind, but for the most part anywhere in the world can have access to wind power.

One more reason why wind power is so highly recommended is because it does absolutely not harm to the environment. Our society is becoming Greener every single day. This means that people are becoming much more environmentally conscious and adjusting their lifestyles accordingly. Power companies often release harmful toxins and gasses into the atmosphere. If you can eliminate your dependence on the power companies, you will be doing the Earth a great favor.

Also, with home wind power, you have the opportunity to save tons of money! Think about what your power bill is every month?now think about how much money you would be saving if you could reduce that bill. It is very common to reduce a power bill by 70% very easily with a home windmill. In many cases, people actually eliminate their electricity bill totally.

This is what draws a ton of people to home wind power. It?s ease of use and savings potential is just too good for the average person to pass up.

The world of home wind power is very exciting. I know I have gotten involved and I have really reaped the benefits of this great type of renewable energy. There are a few things you need to know before getting started, but they can all be learned fairly easily.

I recommend finding an online resource that will teach you everything you need to know before you get started. This will help you to save lots of time and money in the long run.
