What is it?
HTC Home is a widget that shows nice animated clock with weather like on HTC phones. It’s written in C# + WPF in Visual Studio 2010.
See the video below. Supports different weather providers (as plugins).

What’s new?
HTC Home 2 is a further development of HTC Home as HTC widgets platform. So it will have more widgets than just Weather/Clock.
Current state of HTC Home 2 is alpha, so it can contains some bugs.

To do / worklog:

1. Back/forward buttons not aligned to the address bar: the back/forward buttons are 1px lower than the address bar, and have different shading. I’ve tried editing it using resource hacker and the Gimp, but the buttons are still 1px too low. Windows limitation?

3. Shading makes menu harder to read.

Please choose the correct theme to match with Taskbar Positions

How to install
1. Install Universal Theme Patcher, make sure that UAC must be turned off
2. Extract content (*.theme & Frost folder) into C:\Windows\Resources\Themes
3. Take Ownership of explorerframe.dll in System32, explorer.exe in Windows folder and copy the appropriate explorerframe.dll, explorer.exe to replace the original!. Make sure to make a backup of the original in case of instability.
4. Restart Windows & then select this theme in Personalize Menu
