How To Change Backgrounds In Folders

First, make sure all hidden files are visible on your system. Then, open the folder for which you wish to add a background image. Within the folder, right-click and select Properties » Customize tab » Customize. There, choose any icon, click Apply and OK.

There Should Now Be A Desktop.ini File.
Edit The ini File With Notepad.
Paste This Under The Previous Text.
[ExtShellFolderViews]

Now Save A You Want For A Background Picture In Disk D. Now, Go Back To The Folder And If Everything Went Right, You Have A Background!

Today I Will Show You How To Change The Clour Of The Field And The Mines.
Go To Game>Change Appearance, Or Press F7. You Can Change Board Colour From Blue And Silver To Green, And Change From Minesweeper To Flower Garden. Hope This Helped.

Also I Know This Has Nothing To Do With XP But I Think You Can Download The 7 Version For XP So This Post Hasn’t Gone To Waste.

It’s Very Easy to Use, Has A Preview Option, And If There’s Something Wrong With Your Internet And You Wanted To Post New Stuff Of Save Drafts, You Just Go On This And No Internet Needed. Just Uncheck Everything Except Live Writer.

MS Paint Gradient Tool

This Is Something Microsoft Didn’t Want You To Know About.

So Go Onto MS Paint.

Press CTRL + E On The Keyboard And Resize The Picture To 100 Width x 500 Height.

Run A Line From The Top Left To Bottom Right.

Fill I Both Sides With 2 Different Colours.

Now Press Resize And Skew, Uncheck The “Maintain Aspect Ratio” Box And Change Width To 1.

It Should Go Real Midget.

And Now Again Press Resize And Skew And Keep Putting In 500 In Width Till You Get Your Desired Size.

You Should End Up With A Rectange With A Gradiented Colour!

Make Your Own User Account Pictures

If you don’t like the user account pictures that come with XP you can add your own.

1. First make sure the pic you choose is fairly square, that’s because you have to resize it to 48 x 48 pixels, so you don’t want it to distort too much. It also has to be a bitmap (.bmp extension) for it to work. A good graphic utility should take care of both the resizing and saving it into a bitmap.

2.After you have it ready go to the following folder:

X:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\Default Pictures (Application Data is a hidden folder, So Go Tool At The Top, Then Go A Little Down Till You See “Folder Options”. Click It. Then In The Window, Go In Second Tab. Find “Show Hidden Folders”. Check-mark It.
Then Apply)

That’s the place where all the little account pixies are located, copy the one (or the ones) you had prepared into that folder.

3. Click the Start Button then click over the account picture and it will take you to a new window that tells you to choose another pic for your account, look for the one you just created select it, and click the “change picture” button and you’re all set!.

So now you don’t have to put up with the flower or that blue butterfly you just hate ).

Type In ResHacker.
Go To First Link.
Scroll Down You See Two Links.
Click Europe.
Download It.
When Downloaded, Open.
Click Open… Thing.
Go To WINDOWS Files.
Find “Explorer.exe”
Open It.
Go To Folder “String Table”
Expand It.
Go To Folder “37″
Open It.
Click 1033.
In Place Where Says “start”, Change start To Whateva You Want.
Click Compile Script.
Save As Explorer2.EXE
X Out Of ResHacker.
Go To Run.
Type : RegEdit
You’re Now In RegEdit.
Navigate

Find “Shell” On The Right.
Right Click And Click “Edit Values”
Change Value From
Explorer.exe

Now Logoff The Computer Or Restart.
Then Go In Again.

How To Disguise Your Folder
