I enjoy photographing people and, of course, they're easier to find in large cities where activities are a lot more diverse. In lieu of big city access, I'm often on the outlook for local events. "Old Garb Design" was taken during a recent reenactment in Klamath Falls.

"TRUCKS" had just been stenciled on a driveway as I drove by. Captivated by the positive/negative abstraction the letters formed, I found the closest parking space and darted over for a few shots before the painter had a chance to pick up the stencils and take off.

It was quite a double take when I spotted "Barbed Seraphim" adjacent to the cemetery at Emigrant Lake. On first glance I was attracted by what appeared to be an angel-like figure, which prompted me to take a close look. My rational mind concluded it was a leaf, but the impression this shape with thread and barbed wire left was not something I was willing to immediately brush off.
