Cortizone is a type of corticosteroid. It is steroid medication that mimics the natural steroid produced in the body the adrenal gland. Cortizone reduces inflammation. It is not a pain reliever. Cortizone injections are very common, as they can provide months to years of relief when used properly. The injections can be used to treat inflammation in localized areas of the body or to treat inflammation throughout the body (systemic injections).

Effexor Dosage
