Custom orders placed during break with –

• 2 business days service will ship around Thursday Jan. 12th.
• 3 business days service will ship around Friday Jan. 13th.
• 4 business days service will ship around Monday Jan. 14th.
• Standard 10 business days service will ship around Wednesday Jan. 25th.

Orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and according to service options ordered (standard vs. expedited), so place your order early to be higher up in the production queue. Standard service time may increase in January 2012 depending on order volume.

Because there is a chance that you will not choose the right size, try to avoid ordering extravagant or expensive custom items as gifts. Here are a few products we recommend when shopping for someone else’s horse.

If you are having us ship directly to your recipient, please indicate this in your order comments and we will use a gift packing slip instead of a standard packing slip showing item prices.

Reindeer Antlers

You may use the same sizing estimates for Natural-Look Unicorn horns when ordering a reindeer Antler. Choose “Plastic Coated Wire” for more flexible fit and go 1-2 inches larger if you have doubts about your size choice. Unless you know that your friend intends to ride in an event and would like an imposing costume, it may be better to go with small or medium antlers. Small antlers and the lightest and most stable and could even be worn in a riding class (if the instructor allows).

Saddle Blankets

Saddle blankets do not require horse measurements. Average sized horses (such as thoroughbreds or quarterhorses) look good with a 24” x 30” blanket. Select a larger size for a warmbloods and drafts and smaller for a pony or cob. Large saddle blankets can also work as costumes and are favored by knights and princesses. Our custom color and emblem choices lets you get creative in designing a unique gift item that will be appreciated for years to come.

Bear Hug Rug Saddle Blankets

These are cute saddle pads that look like bear skins, made with high quality faux fur, button eyes, and your choice of claws or paws. The bear peers over back of horse and hugs the flanks/rump with its paws.

Natural-Look Unicorn Horns

Because the Natural-Look Unicorn Horn comes with adjustable straps, less accuracy is needed in sizing. Browband sizes can be adjusted down 1-2 inches; for example, if you order a 14″ browband size, it may be adjusted down to 12″ for a Mini or Shetland Pony if necessary. Note, this applies only to the Natural-Look Unicorn Horn and not Unicorn Browbands. Here are suggested ordering sizes for various horse types:

• Small Pony 13”-14”
• Medium Pony or Small Horse 14”- 15”
• Average Horse 16”
• Large Horse 17”- 18”

Unicorn Browbands

This is one of our oldest and most popular products. Unicorn Browbands can be ordered in a variety of colors, trims, and jewels. You will however need to measure the horse’s browband (or across the forehead including widths of halter straps) to order the right size. If you would like to gift a unicorn browband and are not certain that you measured correctly, please select the “Velcro Loops” option and leave a message in the comments field so we will know to use extra Velcro to increase the likeness of a good fit.

Ostrich Plume Browbands

A classic look, popular with equestrians for many occasions. As with Unicorn Browbands, the only sizing needed is the browband length. These browbands are nice for parades and shows where a rider wishes to stand out from the crowd.

Pegasus Wings, Fairy Wings, and Bat Wings

Wings do not require specific measurements to fit so they are ideal for gifting, especially because many equestrians really want wings. As the most common mistake made when ordering is choosing a wing length too short for the size of the horse, we only recommend gifting wings to people with small ponies and miniature horses. 18” and 24″ wings ship in reasonably small boxes and are easy to handle and store.

You are welcome to order larger wings for both horses and ponies but keep in mind that not everyone has room to store a large pair of wings and they are not a good idea with spirited or immature horses.

Floral Browband Wreaths

As with other browband items, the only measurement needed for wreaths is the browband size. Wreaths are a nice accent for many occasions – formal and informal, alone or as an accessory to a costume or part of an ensemble.

Let your pony be one of this year’s Christmas Angels! The Christmas season draws out a lot of angels to kneel at mangers, sing, or just to perch on top of trees. Our Real Feather Pegasus Wings will give your four-legged angels the power of imaginary flight. To stand out even more, consider black wings for a dark angel or create a chimera such as a winged reindeer!

Christmas Unicorns

The unicorn is a mythical superstar that has even made his way into Christmas through books and television. Because Christmas is a time for childish wishes, and many children wish desperately to see a unicorn, a unicorn horse or pony will be welcome at any holiday gathering. WishPony.com offers you many options in customizing a Unicorn Horn or Unicorn Browband to suit your idea of Christmas. You can even accessorize your unicorn with wings and/or Christmas barding.

Polar Bear Hug Rugs
