Story behind kroosh ma song

In the year 2014 God inspired me to write this song and it is also the year when I was born again in spirit and decided to follow Jesus wholeheartedly or become an ardent follower of our saviour Jesus.

When I was 2 years old, my family accepted Jesus as our saviour. I grew up in an environment where I used to listen to God’s word almost everyday. Everything was good until 2010 which was also the year I got baptized. 2011 to 2013 was the darkest years of my life and as a believer that was the time when I felt totally disconnected with God. Yes, I was a believer and I was living my life as a good believer, going to church, singing gospel songs, leading worship, as a matter of fact it was all on the outside, just for the name sake but deep inside I was in despair and my life was going through complete chaos. My family was going through financial difficulties and simultaneously my elder brother was sick and admitted in the hospital (Seva Sadan hospital, Kalimpong).

My Brother- Hem Kumar Thapa

Let me briefly talk about my brother, my elder brother (Hem Kumar Thapa) is handicapped by birth and we accepted Jesus because of him. He is a blessing to our family and we all love him so much. We are really thankful to God for blessing our family with sucha good man of God ‘dada’ (brother) in our lives!

After my family accepted Jesus as our saviour, God healed my brother. We saw God's miracle, and our relatives saw it too, and many accepted Jesus as their saviour after seeing God’s miraculous work in my brother’s life. My brother used to do some of the household work and his own work by himself, like sweeping around the house, fixing old and broken gadgets, etc., and he was very mischievous. Unfortunately, the day came when everything turned upside down. My dada had an accident at home, and he stacked up the stools to get something from the top of the wardrobe (Godrej). He fell down from the top and broke his arms, and other body parts were also harmed because of that accident. Dada didn’t receive immediate medical attention because he hid what happened to him from the family for awhile. After that incident, he was completely bedridden and weak, and he couldn’t do anything on his own. Only after he was bedridden did he tell the family about what happened to him, but it was too late.

The doctor wasn’t responding well to our questions; maybe he knew it wasn't possible to cure dada. He said, “Use regular medicines that I’ve prescribed; everything is in the hands of God; don’t lose hope. Dada got discharged from the hospital after being admitted for almost a month. With so many things going on in my family, my faith in God was slowly fading away. I dropped school and completely stopped going to church, and I often used to make other plans with friends on Sundays to avoid going to church.

One day, when I was returning home from Singtam, Sikkim listening to a Hindi song (Darmiyah) in full volume (that was my favourite song at that time), and I fell into a deep sleep. I woke up hearing a loud thud and found my right cheek pressed up against the window glass. The bus was completely tilted on the right towards the edge of the road and almost toppled off the road into the Testa River. It was complete chaos in the bus; the passengers were screaming in horror and crying out for help, and we were stuck in there for a while. At that moment, I didn’t think of anything only a word came into my mouth, and that was ‘JESUS’. That time I realised that I had created a huge gulf between myself and God; it was so hard for me to cry out to him for help and to say, 'Jesus, help me’. But our God is a wonderful God; he will never leave us nor forsake us, and even though I failed him many times, he saved me; he gave me a new life so that I could turn back to him and live for his glory. He was still there for me even when I was completely mingled in the worldly yoke. I didn't have the guts to say anything further, but one single word (Jesus) took our tilted bus straight from the edge to the road. It felt like teleportation. Everybody was amazed on the bus, only I knew it was God who did the miracle. I was completely senseless and didn’t utter a single word until I reached home. My mom told me to have dinner but I denied it and went directly to my room. All I wanted to do was ‘repent’ and thank God for his unfailing love. I took my guitar out and started singing but the circumstances that I was in had made my heart like a stone. It was so hard for me to cry and repent. I started worshipping God continuously from 7 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., but I still felt empty and far from him. I wasn’t willing to let go of the burden that I had carried for so long. All of a sudden, around 11 p.m., God spoke to me in a very small voice, 'Turn to Galatians 2:20'. I was confused about whether the chapter or the verse existed in the Bible. I took my Bible, turned the pages, and started searching for the exact chapter and verse. Sliding through the pages, I finally found Galatians 2:20. I was astonished to see the verse and started reading it. As I was reading, I could feel God’s presence in that very moment; I could see darkness shifting away and light coming through. I could feel that he had wrenched all my chains apart and broke the shackles into pieces, I FELT FREE. God removed my heart of stone and changed it into a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36: 26-27)

I started singing this verse repeatedly, and God helped me to complete 'KROOSH MA' that night.

That day, I returned home to my father like a prodigal son. I really felt like when I was still a long way off, my heavenly father saw me coming and, filled with love and compassion, ran towards me and embraced me. (Luke 15: 20-32)

This song is about the life I will be living from now onwards and it is only for Christ no matter what wonderful or terrible things come my way.

Our Marriage date- 30th September, 2023

Marriage is a crucial life turning point for everyone. Making the decision to spend lifetime with someone through both good and bad times is absolutely essential at this particular point in one's life. However, several kinds of issues need to be settled before the wedding, for the relationship to flourish and last a lifetime.

On the day 20th September, 2023 : I was excited to be hitched for the rest of my life simultaneously a little nervous. Everything was all set and we were ready to take off to Hong Kong very soon. The only thought was, there is only few days left to get married.

Both of us were looking forward to our wedding aisle walk. For both of us, the months-long odyssey ended in an amazing reality. It is clearly stated that the one who looks for true love always finds their true partner. And eventually I've got her, my soul mate. The days were getting closer, and time was running out. It was time for us to let go of our bachelorhood and spinsterhood.

Heading towards Hong Kong

On the day 27th September, 2023 : We started our journey towards Hong Kong from Pedong. We safely landed in Hong Kong International airport. After passing through the immigration we proceeded to the baggage reclaim hall to collect our baggage and after collecting our baggage, we then headed to the arrival hall where my family and my then wife-to-be were waiting for us.

In my perception, God created marriage primarily for three reasons.

God created marriage primarily for three reasons: To be with one another (companionship), procreation or reproduction, and redemption.

These purposes are still important today and are needful for the proper functioning of the society even today. Let's examine each one in more details.

Companionship

The first purpose of marriage is companionship. The Lord himself stated it wasn’t good for man to be alone in Genesis 2:18.

God designed marriage in order to provide a profound bond between man and woman. And Godly relationship is always based on love, trust, and communication and it portrays a clear picture of our relationship with God.

Marriage is the way where husband and wife come together to share their lives and experiences with each other. A healthy marriage ought to be a refuge from the world where couples can find solace and comfort.

Procreation or Reproduction

Procreation or Reproduction is the second purpose of marriage, Genesis 1 :28 God blessed Adam and Eve to prosper and multiply, fill the earth and conquer it. That was God's intend for humankind. God designed marriage for couple to become parents and raise their children in a godly way. Children are blessings from God, and it's important that they grow up in an environment or home where they can experience the love and grace of God.

Parents are the first teachers and the environment is the first school of the children. Everything that happens around them shapes their mind and it's the responsibility of the parents to instill God's values and truth into their lives. A family with a strong foundation in the principle of God will have a far higher chances of success than the one who doesn't have this foundation.

Redemption

Redemption is the third purpose of marriage. Inorder, for the both man and woman to reconcile and be free from their sins, God designed marriage.

A couple who decides to get hitched into a holy marriage covenant, follow God’s will for their lives. This plan requires them to remain devoted to God and each other for pursuing God’s will for their lives.

After marriage, the husband and wife unite in holiness and hold one another's responsibilities for continuing their journey to salvation.

This plan involves helping one another to remain steadfast in righteousness and raising children in a God fearing and loving household.

The foundation of healthy or happy marriage is always built on Jesus Christ as well as His teachings.

The teaching of Jesus Christ acts as the cornerstone of a strong marriage.

Are the Purposes of Marriage Still important Today?

These three purposes of marriage still holds true meaning today.

Companionship is important because it provides a close relationship between husband and wife. They can share their lives and experiences.
Procreation is imperative because God designed marriage so that couples can have children. Children are blessings from God, and it’s crucial for them to be raised in a God-fearing home.
Redemption is also very important because when husband and wife come together in holy marriage covenant, they indeed commit to God’s plan for their lives.

Marriage is indeed God’s best Idea

Marriage is indeed God’s best idea, and He has an ultimate reason for designing it the way He did. These three purposes are still imperative today and are so essential for a healthy and happy society.

The role of father is a divine responsibility and calling that the fatherhood position first starts with God, our Heavenly Father. An opportunity to imitate God and show affection and concern for children in the same ways that God cares and loves for us, is to become a good father, stepfather, grandfather, or foster father. All fathers are loved by God and encouraged to do the best they can to raise and take care of the children placed to their care.

The ultimate example of a good father is God, our Heavenly Father. His love is infinite and endless, despite our flaws. He wants to speak with us in prayer. He cares about our happiness. It doesn't matter who you are or how you feel about your earthly father, you can experience God's joy and love through a relationship with your eternal heavenly father.

God is bringing a new and powerful change in your life

God is ultimate in charge of our identity, wherever we go in life, whatever we accomplish in life. Everything is in his hands. Without his blessings, we are nothing and unable to acquire lasting or genuine honor for ourselves. Without his guidance, protection and blessings, we cannot secure our future. The foundation of every success and honor relies upon our willingly entrusting him and putting our lives in his care.

Sometimes it feels awful or bad to let ourselves die. Most people prefer to be praised, exalted, and promoted. But dying to ourselves is crucial in God's kingdom.

A lump of clay needs to be molded into something else in order to turn into a piece of art. Basically paint has to be poured out from the container before it can be utilized for a masterpiece. To form a diamond, a carbon needs to change. To transform into an amazing butterfly, the caterpillar has to leave behind its old ways of life.

In fact, the invitation to die is an invitation to live.

When we dedicate ourselves to God, we make the decision to surrender our goals, aspirations, and our gifts/talents. But that may be difficult. However, we are also certain that on the other side, there's something and someone better.

God is able to reshape our desires, rearrange our goals, and use our talents for his glory. The author of Galatians, the apostle Paul, was profoundly acquainted with the transformative power of Christ. Power of Christ drastically transformed Paul from someone who weirdly persecuted believers, into an ardent follower of Jesus. After that encounter, Paul knew that the only way to live was by surrendering every aspect of his life to Christ. And that's why He urges us to do the same because of this reason.

Without first being crucified, Jesus could not have been raised from the dead and the same is true for us. So what does Jesus need from you today? What action, habit/behavior, or thoughts? Give Jesus permission to renew and change your life by surrendering your life to Him in your current situation.

Lord, I give my life to you. Take control every aspect of my life and please take it away which does not honour you. I give you all of my doubts, anxieties, selfish desires, and broken heart. Going on the camping with friends is one of the best way to unwind or relax from your hectic schedule or your stresses and just enjoy your time with your friends to the fullest.

After quite a while, my friends and I finally made the decision to go camping, and this time was a completely new experience. In fact, camping along a riverside is the most beautiful way to indulge in nature's perfect beauty and tranquility. It allows you to get up in the initial beautiful rays of the morning sun and allows you to go off to sleep to the soothing sounds of running water. Therefore, it is wonderful for a tranquil camping gateway whereby people can develop a relationship with God and enjoy His creations (Nature). It truly brought much delight and boosted my mood of adventure.

I was literally captivated by the scenery from here (Rangit). The surroundings were quiet and sandy, with the tent we pitched under the open sky and starry nights. Birds were chirping in the background. My heart was calmed by the peaceful surroundings and the soothing sounds of the enticing flowing river.

A bonfire creates an incredible aura of calmness and mental contentment under the stars as well as the harmony of nature, and we had fun sitting around a bonfire at night enjoying barbecue and listening and singing to soft music with friends, bonfires also have an outstanding calming power. My mind was being transported to an other realm of peace or serenity by the soothing sound of the river and the gentle breeze.

If you are interested to visit; you may take a short boat trip, or walk into the shoreline on the therapeutic warm white sand, or peacefully sit by the shore or the river and unwind/relax to the soothing sound of the flowing river.

Summing up

The Rangit comprised of small villages, dense forests, and some areas of terraced agriculture. Numerous white sandy beaches offer perfect camping spaces.

Rangit close to the Triveni River is probably 57 kilometres from NJP Siliguri, 31 kilometres from Darjeeling, 15 kilometres from Kalimpong, and 66 kilometres from Gantok, Sikkim.

Due to the picturesque scenery of the Teesta and Rangit river confluence as well as the mountain scenery that surrounds it, Triveni is well known for its camping.

My prayer to the people in Christ

What is the utmost crucial thing we can do to demonstrate our love for the people in Christ?
We can simply pray for them.
Matter of fact, we can pray that the Lord will provide them strength through the power of his dwelling Spirit.
Christ was resurrected from the grave by the same Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:19). The same Holy Spirit is a priceless and beautiful gift from God to everybody who asks (Luke 11:13).
A valley of dry bones was revived by the same Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 37). So, if we pray and ask him to, the same Holy Spirit can empower the people we adore in the Lord!

Prayer

Great and powerful God, the compassion, mercy, grace, and strength of your Spirit need to showered/poured into the lives of many of my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.
Many of them need conviction of their wickedness. Some require strength and courage for their arduous journey ahead. Some of them require strength to get rid of their personal inner/outer challenges.

It is a huge loss of gift, talent or blessing from God when we begin to take every credit to ourselves only and use it in profane things.

It is a gift when someone receives it without even understanding why God chose to bestow it on them.

No matter what talents we possess, such as physical beauty, athletic ability, a sharp mind, good in music, good in painting, a captivating character, good speaker or preacher or something else, we must keep one thing in our mind that God gave us these talents so we must bless others and honor God only.

Most among God's people experience difficulty and hardship, yet some of them are lavishly blessed both spiritually and physically. You might be in those difficulty and tough situations. Kindly keep in mind that God is still with you. Jesus serves as a powerful reminder that God loves and concerns for the wounded, abandoned, and persecuted. We can still do Work of God with certainty and confidence because of all the wonderful heroes or warriors of the Bible, whether great and little one. But before we can boldly or bravely follow wherever he leads us to go, we must initially be prepared to let go of all the evil which entangles our lives, blurs our vision, increases our doubts, and saps our spiritual vigor and endurance.

God has a huge purpose and a plan for us. Finding that purpose and pursuing it fully is the best thing we can do. We can fully rely on God's plan since it is founded in wisdom and love. We won't do anything that might ultimately hinder his plan for us as far as we follow and seek his will. Yes, we may sometimes stray from the specific direction he wants us to take, but we never completely leave the main path.
