Lately, I've been wearing my favorite dresses as skirts (as seen here, here, and here.) I love getting the most use out of a piece of clothing - especially if it was a splurge. This Annie Griffin piece is great as a dress or skirt. I paired it with this blouse and a skinny belt to run from meeting to meeting in Soho yesterday. I spent last Friday afternoon in Central Park with my sweet friend Hitha. We took outfit pictures and then headed to Essex House to catch up over bellinis. I've been giving Tommy a break from taking my pictures - he deserves it! This week I'm excited to be hosting a trunk show with my favorite scarf line; Theodora and Callum. Lately, I've been living in silk button-ups. On the weekends, I wear them with jeans or a maxi, and during the week I wear them with silk pants or a wide leg trouser. This Spiegel blouse designed by Richard Lowe III (an amazing talent behind the latest Spiegel inspirational line) is so versatile. It can be worn tied (as seen on Olivia Palermo) or untied (as seen on here.) Which way would you wear it - tied or untied?

Tommy and I spent the entire weekend together - just us two - and it was so nice. We rented Silver Linings Playbook (a must see), went to the Knicks game, and finally tried Quality Meats (I highly recommend it.) I loved having such a low-key, relaxing weekend. Next weekend won't be as low key but I'm so looking forward to it! I'll be hosting an event with Rebecca Taylor in their Meatpacking store on Saturday - details here.

I've never really been a huge fan of tweed - which is ironic because my style is classic and feminine. I've stayed away from tweed jackets, dresses and skirts because they're usually made of a very thick, scratchy fabric that doesn't feel good on. One of my closest friends from Arizona just moved to the city and introduced me to Rebecca Taylor's tweed. My feelings about tweed have completely changed. The fabric she uses in her pieces is thin and soft - and the patterns are modern and chic. This jacket is my new staple piece for brunches, meetings, cocktails, events, etc. I'm dying to get my hands on more of her tweed pieces particularly this peplum top, paneled skirt, and cropped jacket.

Last night's Haute Hippie event was a HUGE success - thank you to everyone who came and supported me! I wore this outfit to the event and got a ton of compliments on the pants. They are seriously the most comfortable pants I own and can be worn so many different ways (for example.) I loved this outfit so much I entered it in Vanity Fair's Best Dressed Challenge. Packing for Dallas

I was in Dallas this past weekend for the rewardStyle conference. I loved catching up with old friends (Sophie, Kristin, Mackenzie, Julia, Jena) and making new ones (Devon, Liz, Bethany, Ashley + many more.) I packed a ton of different options because I didn't know what each day would entail and wanted to be prepared. For a long weekend trip, I recommend packing at least one pair of jeans, black and nude heels, black and nude sandals, one semi-formal and one casual dress, a clutch, a scarf, and a blazer. Store your toiletries in fun cosmetic cases from Stephanie Johnson and pack comfy Yosi Samra flats to travel in. I had a blast in Dallas but I am SO looking forward to getting home - I've missed Tommy, my friends and my routine. See ya in 2 hours NYC!

I bought this shirtdress in Buenos Aires last November and finally had the chance to wear it today. The weather was gorgeous so I was out and about all day. I had coffee at Cafe Minerva, lunch at Jeffrey's and then did some shopping at Rebecca Taylor. I head to Dallas tomorrow for the RewardStyle conference and still haven't packed so I better get to it! I spent the entire weekend outside and it was glorious! Yesterday, Tommy and I went for a run in Central Park and then walked around Soho popping into my favorite shops along the way (Sandro, Maje, Equipment, Piperlime.) Today, Lainy and I snapped these photos and then grabbed coffee at Sicaffe - they make the best lattes. I wore this "low maintenance" outfit all weekend because it's so comfortable, but still looks put together. If you haven't already noticed - I wear skinny jeans+blouses+blazers a lot. It's a combo that never fails me!

Today I had lunch at one of my favorite Japanese restaurants, Haru, and then wandered through Union Square to admire the gorgeous cherry blossom trees. You know it's Spring in New York when they're in bloom! Can you believe it's almost Friday? This week flew by. I spent most of it planning this Haute Hippie event which I am SO excited about. Now that I work from home, my day to day outfit is pretty casual. I had a ton of formal meetings yesterday so I pulled out an outfit I used to wear frequently when I worked in an office. This Missoni dress is always a go-to piece for me because it's work appropriate without being boring. I wore this outfit to Easter brunch at Pastis. After brunch, Tommy and I walked up to Gramercy Park to admire the beautiful townhouses and flowers that are (finally!) in bloom. The skirt I'm wearing is actually a dress that I bought for my sorority formal back in 2008. It was a splurge at the time, but worth every penny. I have my eye on this dress because I can envision myself wearing it at least four different ways - isn't the color gorgeous?

I've been dying to get this jumpsuit ever since I tried it on with Julia at Bergdorfs a few weeks ago. I popped into Theory yesterday and saw it hanging there in my size - sort of staring at me - so I took it as a sign and bought it. Jumpsuits can be tricky - often they're too tight or too loose, but this one is tailored to perfection. FYI you're going to be seeing me wear it a lot! Tommy and I enjoyed this beautiful Spring day and walked around Cobble Hill - a charming part of Brooklyn. We got paninis at Bocca Lupo for lunch and then admired the floral arrangements in Seaport Flowers.

I had a full day of showroom appointments today so I wanted to look good but still be comfortable. I wore these Rich & Skinny boyfriend jeans and my boyfriend's J.Crew sweater. I dressed both up with my Jimmy Choos and fur collar. This look transitioned from day to night which was ideal since I went from the Theodora & Callum, Kelly Wearstler, Rebecca Minkoff, and Bollare press previews to the Sandro store opening and then finally the Dodo boutique party. I've been wearing this Zara coat nonstop. It's such a great mix between coral and pink - and is a welcome change from my closet full of dark, heavy coats. I had so much fun shooting these pictures in Central Park with Katie from Katie's Bliss. In the middle of our shoot - we ran into Mackenzie from Design Darling who was walking her dog Rory.
