Bold Pattern Escort Cards

I recently had the opportunity to design some escort/meal cards for a high school friends wedding. She contacted me and said that she loved my ETSY shop designs and wondered if I could create some custom cards. She showed me her Pinterest wedding board, which was full of beautiful soft colors, natural wood, vintage bottles, and burlap. Since her colors were all very neutral and light she wanted to incorporate a pop of color...and that is where the meal cards came into play. I used four different patterns and three different colors and gave the idea to put clip them onto an old window frame. The wedding and the bride was absolutely stunning and love how the cards turned out. Check out some pictures below! {Photography By Dani Stephenson}

Recent Project: Clickin Moms New Magazine!

I recently had the amazing opportunity to work with Clickin Moms to create and design an email newsletter to launch their new CLICK magazine for photograp[hers]. Clickin Moms is an amazing photography community built to provide support, tools, forums, tutorials, and much more for female photographers. The new CLICK magazine is just that, full of beautiful inspiration as well as informative articles. After finishing the email they also had me design their sign-up web page. The best part of working with them is that they gave me complete design freedom and just asked for something that is visually clean with a personal touch. A Preppy Moving Announcment

For those who do not know, but I love my Etsy shop. Not only do I finally get to share my funky patterns and fun designs with others but I also get the opportunity to meet others and create custom orders. I was recently asked if I could design a moving announcement similar to one I used when I moved to NC. She asked if it could incorporate some of my patterns and have that preppy look. I immediately agreed and couldn't wait to see the final product!

I feel like it has been awhile since I designed a calling card, so here is another one! I love the simplicity of this one, especially with the 'hello' calligraphy in the corner. I couldn't decide what colors I liked best..so I did various colors. The best part is that you can choose your own colors, to match your business or to match your personality. Chambray Two Ways

FINALLY! I found a chambray shirt, that I luckily got 40% off of, thanks to banana republic. So why not snap a few pics of me with how it can be worn. The first picture is actually in the fitting room, hence why I grabbed the most expensive skirt in the store to try it on with...lame. The second picture is with my Anne Taylor Slim Knit Pants, (which are much cheaper now than when I purchased them..grr) and my American Rag Ikey boots which are no longer available. My Small Town: Chetek, Wisconsin

I was listening to a song this morning which inspired me to do this post, and no it was the Kenny Chesney song..I forgot which one it was. With that being said I dedicated this to my small town Chetek, Wisconsin. With roughly 2,200 residents it is mostly known for the Chain of Six Lakes...which means the population almost triples during the summer. But of course during the freeeezing winter months you could drive down 2nd street (the main street) and not see a single car...granted it takes like 2 minutes to drive through, but still. I currently live in an city with around 110,000+ people and I basically have the ocean in my backyard..but I will always remember my little hometown! So for all of you who also come from a small town and those who grew up in chetek this is for you! enjoy! {sorry if my grammar is off in it} And I believe Chetek gained a Subway since I left.

Working it Out

I decided to join a gym. This is the first time I have really put effort into a better lifestyle and a better body. Yes I did p90x for like 2 weeks, tried to eat healthier more than once, and even joined a gym back in the day. I think I'm going on my 3rd or 4th week of consistent exercise..and it's lovely! I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I need to do so I am currently trying this workout below...as well as eating much better. Although I realized after doing Les Mills body pump, I'm pretty sore the next day so I'm thinking to purely do cardio Tuesday and Thursday. But, I thought I would share this with you all and get a little inspiration out there for you! Enjoy!
