Launch of our newest business game in London: “The Way We Win” – premiered with 400 top executives from one of the world largest companies

“The Way We Win” is a business game about building strategic partnerships with your customers.
After receiving identical briefings, participants competes in teams of six – building their case.
During the case preparation the teams can get supplementary information in many different ways:

- Themed information meetings (where only one person per group are allowed)
- Questions to the Customer team (who chooses what to answer and how)
- Call’s and one-on-one meetings
- Massive amounts of supplementary information

After two hours all teams must submit an “Account Development Plan” and then do a 90 second “elevator pitch” (recorded on webcams – simultaneously for all groups).

ALL contributions are reviewed and rated by the customer team – and by at least 3 competing groups.

This – in addition to a lot of other observations on the groups work and approaches – leads to an intensive debriefing session, where each group receives detailed feedback on their performance.

Finally winners are identified and celebrated. And learning points shared.

The Way We Win is an intense half- to full day game experience with lot’s of learning.

The core of The Way We Win is an interactive process flow supporting many different roles (Teams, Customer representatives, Facilitators) and with detailed individual feedback to each group. The engine can be adapted to any specific case.

We had the great privilege of working with futurist David Houle (www.davidhoule.com) at a Top Management Conference.
David was extremely positive about our format:

Advanced interactive conferences: Soon you can manage a complex meeting with lots of interactivity from your own laptop – with participants using their own devices (PCs, Mac’s, iPhones etc…)

The Wizer platform is recognized as the most advanced interactivity platforms when it comes to customizing highly involving interactive meetings. BUT: So far it has demanded a complex – and expensive – setup on site.
This is about to change. With the new Do-it-yourself Director (currently in fully working beta version) you can manage the event directly from your own laptop.
The interactive flow will be created and tested before the event (in collaboration with Wizerize) but on the day you simply log in yourself – and the participants – to our cloud server and run everything without any help from us.
This solution will make advanced interactive meetings accessible for more meetings, workshops, project kick-offs etc…

A new era started: New York office fully operational

Founder and CEO Flemming Fog a are now “legal US alien” and resident of NYC – now focused on conquering of the US market.
Timing seems to be absolutely right. At a recent Corporate Think Tank in Chicago – facilitated by Flemming Fog – 95% of a group of very senior corporate meeting planners predicted that in 2015 60% of their major meetings would be supported by participant engagement technology. As the current number is about 10-15% there seems to be room for heavy market growth!

Mikkel Schou, Birger Hauge and Nico Schou still leads the Danish based operation – with Flemming still deeply involved in many European projects.

Good old Eagle Racing – great crowd in Arizona

But today was the day – and with an exclusive crowd of a little over 100 executives in a beautifull resort in Arizona.
It was great. I enjoyed it – and so did the participants. See the feedback:

Wizer iPad/iPod APP

Last week we released Wizer for iPad (another version adapted to iPod/iPhone soon to follow).
Our team managed to acheive the full APP feel (nice transitions, customized desktop icons, smooth rotation between vertical and horizontal etc.) merely by using HTML (including HTML5). – So the basic version is a Web based APP.
This means that we do not have to go through the hassle of downloading APPS to make it work. Just go to URL – save to desktop and then you get the full APP experience.
When we need tyhe APP to access the camera or GPS we obviously need to install an APP that connects to these functions. We will do this the moment we have a customer case needs the feature.
Next is testing on Androids and other Tablets. But we expect most to work out of the box…

Message clear: Transformation requires ENGAGING as well as INFORMING

At ReThink Forum the message from 294 industry professionals from US and Europe was clear: The most highly rated (out of 6 forces for innovation) factor was: Transformation requires ENGAGING as well as INFORMING. This was no. 1 on the priority list for 47% of all participants (and even 52% of all Americans).

Today in New York a group of 19 experienced strategists, corporate executives and meeting professionals got together around a shared headline: Multiplying the Value of Conferences.

It was a great success. Though meeting for the first time the group really experienced a shared agenda, and it was decided to go ahead with the plan to create a New York centered global event: The first ever ReThink Conference*.
On behalf of the creators of the initiative (David Adler, CEO of BizBash and Mary Boone, President of Boone Associates and myself): We are thrilled. A movement has started!
