Wobbles & Filth: Hip-Hop

YONAS - Counting Stars (Feat. One Republic)

2014-02-24T20:00:00.001-08:00

Been a huge fan of YONAS for a few years now and it's been awesome watching him grow and really blow up in a lot of circles...from his remix of Pumped Up Kicks, to touring with other big up and coming names like Aer, to signing with a label...really cool stuff. Drops another smooth remix of a dance track here. Enjoy folks!

If you are unlike us at W&F and you are into Sammy Adams, I would definitely recommend checking this out. It is doing very well on iTunes, which suggests that many of you would disagree with my opinion. Props to this guy as he keeps doing his thing and he definitely has developed a following. It's officially here!! A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into producing the music on this album, and I just want to thank everyone in advance for supporting it. As an independent artist who has witnessed how powerful music can be, I truly hope this record reaches great distances, and effects people in a positive way. This album is a culmination of a few fan favorites, a few new songs, and a few surprise remixes. Click the link below to buy the album on iTunes and enjoy -http://smarturl.it/rckiqh

Eminem - Rap God

2013-10-24T19:45:00.001-07:00

ZoMg @_@_@_@_@_@_@!

It's no secret that I love Em, but even I must admit that his last couple of "sober" albums have been lame compared to his early career.

HOWEVER, there is a certain buzz about The Marshall Mathers LP 2 album coming out in November.

I mean, did you guys see him on national TV during that football game?
CLEARLY NOT SOBER...and also, OMG @ at around 4:15 O_o!

Listen to this with some good sound so you can hear the production intricacies here. I am a fan of the production and I always love CB's flow. First time I listened to it just over my laptop's speakers and didn't love it, but upon second inspection through my headphones, I am loving it. Enjoy folks!

Eminem - BERZERK

2013-08-26T20:50:00.000-07:00

I will definitely have to listen to this a few times to get all the lyrics n such down, but I am very intrigued by this production coming out of the Shady camp. The obvious Beastie Boys influence is an interesting way for Eminem to go, but I think the style on this track matches nicely the title, BERZERK.

Overall, jury is still out on this one, but I can say I do not like it as much as Survival.

News: According to DJBooth, Em will be releasing his sequel to the Marshall Mathers LP on November 5th. Mark that day down in your calendars folks as that album is considered by many to be one of the greatest hip-hop albums ever released. I, for one, am interested to see the next chapter in the Marshall Mathers story.

Enjoy below folks (sorry it is the clean version)! :)

You are all probably very familiar with this song at this point, but mostly thanks to Miley Cyrus. Home girl is crazy, but she is getting her attention and also sharing some of the spotlight with this song in the process. Robin Thicke is putting out dimes these days man...check him out.

Nameluss - Never Quit

2013-08-09T19:56:00.002-07:00

My apologies as I know I'm a little late to the party on this one.

To me, though, this track embodies what Nameluss is best at.
Not sure if it is his personality or just his voice, but a little anger/edge/whatever it is in his music really suits his flow.

His tone and the way he delivers his lyrics really work with that edge.

Really hope his following continues to grow as he really has a solid base of tracks now that I think a lot of people would enjoy.
