&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Woerther Elementary-- along with 13 other Rockwood schools -- received nationwide recognition for a 2012-13 Promising Practices Award from the Character Education Partnership (CEP).&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;The Promising Practices program recognizes schools that have developed specific, unique, and effective educational practices that promote character development.&lt;span&gt; Woerther received the 2012-13 award for its Bully-Free School and Character Conversation Starters.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;The Promising Practices awards program is administered by CEP as part of its National Schools of Character program. &lt;div style="display:inline" id="ctl00_PlaceHolderMain_Content__ControlWrapper_RichHtmlField"&gt;&lt;span&gt;Parents can find their child’s final report card for the school year online via Infinite Campus. In previous years, elementary report cards were &lt;span&gt;either given to the student to take home on the last day or &lt;/span&gt;mailed in the summer to families after teachers had completed grading. New this year, parents can view report cards for students in grades K-5 online. A printed report card will no longer be mailed to homes.&lt;/span&gt; 
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;&lt;span class=ms-rteCustom-Bold&gt;Where can I find the report card?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;Parents can logon to the &lt;a href="https://campus.rockwood.k12.mo.us/campus/rockwood.jsp"&gt;Parent Portal on Infinite Campus&lt;/a&gt; and find their child’s report card.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;span class=ms-rteCustom-Bold&gt;When will the final report card be published?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;Students’ report cards will be published on the Parent Portal on Monday, June 3. Parents are able to access this report card information until noon on Tuesday, June 12. If parents would like a printed copy of their child’s report card, please download it from Infinite Campus during this time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Congratulations to 1,300+ student athletes who participated in the district-wide elementary and middle school track and field meets held during the month of May. The track and field meets are just one of several district-wide athletic events that take place for students each year. Thanks to all the Physical Education teachers who committed their time to preparing students for the events. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;If your child enjoys track and field, consider participating in one of these upcoming summer programs:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;span class=ms-rteCustom-Bold&gt;Community Ed’s Track and Field Instructional Program&lt;/span&gt; is for athletes of all ability levels and introduces kids to the fun of of the sport. Led by trained coaches, athletes practice twice per week and participate in two intra-squad meets.
