This lunar year isn't starting off nicely. From attempting to prevent an accident suddenly WE grown adults are treated like children and told that our tiny little princess of a cousin is NEVER wrong. All we did was warn her to be careful, then after she threw a hissy fit (obviously she didn't listen to a single word we said) we are told that we are supposed to allow the accident to happen (?). Logic definitely doesn't apply anymore. What happened to the hierachy? Aren't the young supposed to respect the elders anymore? Well, I guess not. Especially when all the "real adults" put the blame on us instead, for things that AREN'T relevant to the situation at all (e.g give the brat her iPad back!). I think understand why my sister hates children, the adults let them shit all over the place and allow them to step all over the heads.

So the other day I was over at FetLife talking to some people asking if anyone had latex they wanna throw away and such because I'd like to start fetish modelling.

Then somebody suggested that instead of demanding payment, I could get paid in wardrobe instead!

As a result I decided to offer this option to photographers who are willing to help a budding fetish model AND get themselves some one-of-a-kind super sexy photographs; a Malaysian girl in pretty, shiny, tight latex.

My following lists would start by brand and lowest price to highest price. (shipping prices not included but I can help you inquire if you're interested)

I have selected pieces/sets that cost less than RM500 (not inclusive of shipping).

Therefore, buying any ONE of these qualifies you for a FREE 3-hour latex shoot. Anything longer than 3 hours would require specific charges. If you purchase TWO sets for me, you are qualified to shoot me for 3-5 hours. THREE sets and above qualify you for 3-8 hours of shooting.

ANYWAY, I haven't blogged in a century, HOW DISGRACEFUL.

Lots of things have been happening...

My internship at The Star is over :( Ended on Friday...

I have loads of pictures in my cellphone, which for some unknown, mysterious reason WON'T show up in the computer.

So I guess I'll be pic-spamming the blog (AGAIN) later on, once I regain the energy to transfer via Bluetooth.

Some pretty awesome news...

FIRST, I am so so sooooooo very close to getting a job at Fitness First! However, only if the parental units come to an agreement that I can commit to at least 8 - 12 months of work there...

I hope everything goes as planned. I already freaking did the fitness test. I AM BURNING.

Plus, they have pretty big mirrors in the changing room, which I use to practice my poses.

NEXT, I have been invited to audition for FHM Malaysia's Girls Next Door 2013!!!

If only I had some ballet boots and/or latex to wear to the audition... Another year I suppose! XD

Downside, I had to delay my trip back to Melaka just for the audition.

Let's hope it pays off!

WEEK 1 IS OVER! (YNN, Internship and Photoshoot)

This week has been crazy and hectic. I took my meds already so I am kind of too tired to blog in detail...

Some things that caught my attention:

-nice people do exist! I've seen people helping the blind or elderly at public transportation areas; COMPLETE strangers (because they arrived at different times and in one case are of different races)

-the workers at a particularly popular cupcake store are amazingly RUDE; their loss, us interns ended up featuring Delectable by Su, Lovesome and Bisou instead, all of which have MUCH nicer people!

Leaving on the same jeep that brought me & Jo-yen up to 8 Acres. We smuggled Najihah >:D

It was pretty sad once the workshop ended... over the course of a few days, many of us have bonded. Najihah even shed tears before leaving :'(

The next day was WORK TIME! Despite being the oldest of the bunch, I am the most n00b-ish one as the rest had a few days to an entire MONTH of internship ahead of me. Plus, I don't get published often enough, so it's obvious I needed to buck-up... WHILE AT MY FIRST JOB!

Touchdown in KL... I have no choice but to laze around over at the KLCC Starbucks, inhaling freshly produced putrid second-hand cigarette smoke. I can almost feel my lungs corroding already...

The Wifi is terrible. So is my Celcom Broadband. I’m not sure if the laptop battery is to blame.

I am thankful that my idea had the genius idea of letting my “main luggage” aka THE PORTABLE WARDROBE travelling a separate trip.

The downside? I don’t have ALL my super awesome clothing accessories and such with me, so I can’t pick and choose my “introductory clothing” for Day 1 of the Young News Network workshop, which is tomorrow.

Oh did I mention that I COMPLETELY FORGOT my prescription glasses. I only have these super awesome Hipster glasses (TM) with me, which are incredibly useless for my deteriorating eyesight.

So yeah, the story of my life. It’s just beginning. :-O

My life so far

There are a billion things I hope to do and achieve in my life. The main problem with this is that I really don't know where to start. I have dreams like everyone else but mine is an ever growing list of possibilities. Writing is something I truly enjoy, especially when it's non-fiction. I just love discovering the truth and history behind a particular subject then sharing it with the world.

Most recently, I wrote about Corsetry Misconceptions for Mookychick.co.uk and today I discover that Pop Antique and Sew Curvy have shared the article on my Facebook page. I wished studying in Form 6 was as easy as that. I don't know how, I don't know why but from the middle of last year onwards, I could feel my sanity slowly slipping away from my usual self. While I have always had my moodswings throughout my teen years, particularly after I turned 16, when I was 18 everything went completely downhill and there wasn't any clear explanation.

Maybe loneliness drove me mad? After all in 2009 my beloved and only dog had passed away. My elder sister was no longer sharing a room with me from 2008 onwards as she lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur instead. I guess I can't be too sure of what the causes are. Anyway, only late this year I finally went back to sought help from medical professionals. That however did not change how I felt about studying Form 6. I was still disinterested in doing biology, chemistry and a ridiculous subject known as pure maths. Medication only stopped my inclination to suicide. I have regrets no doubt. I should have gone and study a separate set of subjects. I should have stayed on my medication back when I first started on it rather than decide to go back only several months later.

So how do I feel about my current state for exams? Terrible. I mean, I am not going through a nervous breakdown or anything. That's the problem really. I just know that I won't be making any miracles happen within these last 3 weeks of examination.

My first exam, a subject I thought I was already quite good at went horribly wrong. Now I am to face the last few papers that I have never ever even gotten a basic pass.

Oh well. Come what may, that's what some say, right? I am going to be taking up an internship at The Star newspaper, working 9-to-5 for 5 days a week. First I would be joining a writing workshop where I would be learning how to edit videos, which is useful since I hope to jumpstart my Youtube channel. Then most weekends I would be doing some test shots for my modelling portfolio.

Busy bee, huh?

Perhaps after I have expanded my portfolio well, I could market myself as a freelance alternative model. I have already bought some new jewellery for my nasal septum piercing.

Hopefully, in the future, I could do photography as well, I would love to promote alternative/fetish art in the country. Make genuine tightlacing corsets a bit more accessible. Make piercings and brightly coloured hair, tattoos acceptable in photography here. I guess that's all from me tonight. I just needed to get this off my chest.

I am on a roll today! Before I get back to drawing some charts and graphs for my exam next week, let me show you what I have been drooling over this very cold morning :D

Spikey corsets! Let your inner dominatrix out ;D

First one is a very lovely underbust from Jane's Corsets.

It's woven leather and it has 8 steel bones. Don't let the small number fool you, the sturdiness of the leather gives it a strong form.

Next is a saucy cupped latex overbust from Ooh La Latex.

I'm also loving the purple hair XD

The final piece is an interesting one. An Elizabethan!

I also discovered this website, Studs and Spikes, which gave me all kinds of ideas! Think of all the possibilities, the customization one could add to their corsets!

For now, I'll just touch and go on a few things.

It was wrapped with adorable purple ribbon...

Her business cards are sweet and eco-friendly! (that's what it said on the back) Forgive the crappy cellphone camera shot...

The colours are just AMAZING when I see it with my own eyes!

Lastly, as proof that you can't beat custom sized corsets when it comes to fit...

My only complaints is that, as you can see from the photo, the waist tape is visible on the front at two different bones and that the laces are too stretchy.

But for $150 inclusive of shipping and NO MOCK-UP? It fits like a dream.

UPDATE: Oh wow... I asked for coutil early on and she told me it's unnecessary as coutil is brittle, etc, etc but she could give me some leftovers for an extra $5, which she added to the overall price, making the corset $140 plus $10 for shipping. Well, since I felt only two layers in the corset, I decided to ask her. And now I discover that she did not add coutil because " I never said that your corset would have coutil". Naturally, I am slightly disappointed.
Thankfully she has admitted her mistake and will be refunding my $5. This corset would now be an interesting experiment, can this cotton twill truly withstand the rigors of waist training? We shall see........

Oh and in case you were wondering, I like her attitude when I showed the evidence that contradicted her earlier comments so yes, I have no qualms about buying from her again :D After all she's still a nice person to work with.

While I have not received the corset yet (estimated 2 weeks or so for it to arrive) I can tell you she's very helpful and willing to accept crazy payment plans.
