We had two non-officials campouts (December and January) and despite low turn out, each was great in its own way. Besides the obvious getting away from the hustle and bustle, we also strengthen relationships between our girls as well as our fathers/families.

Another advantage of these trips is the experience. Last weekend, with Mike Kosh, I learned that it takes two milkmaid heaters to maintain comfortable temps in my popup camper.
We also learned that running both on full power will trip my 15A fuse no matter how many times we reset it.

I’d like to see some of you guys out there on the next non-official campout in March.
