Cakes, cookies, and brownies are the true specialty at the Pink Cupcake. I loved the Peanut Butter cookies and hope I can get them again.

However, the truffles were not that good. Same with the muffins. The truffles had a nasty gewy middle that just wasn't that good. The muffins were the same way. Now, the fact that I don't care for them doesn't mean that you won't.

When to put it away

Many teens and even some adults today can be found near any type of electronic device, mostly the cell phone. The question is where people begin to ask: When does it stop? When do you put the phone or device away?

I as a teen myself see that it is a big problem in the world today. My parents give me several regulations to my lifestyle as a modern-day teenager and I'd like to share those tips with you.

Number one: No use in a restaurant or at the dinner table. Dinner is a family time to learn about each other's day and not for Facebook or games. It's also rude to wear headsets or earbuds in a restaurant. Though the music may not be your style, be respectful to the people around you, including your family and friends.

Number two: earbuds should be used when you are in a crowd. This is also a big issue I see daily. Not everyone likes the music you do. Pay respect to that aspect of the people around you.

Finally, number three: the times that you shouldn't use an electronic device. Don't use a phone where you shouldn't. Excuse yourself from the situation and pretend to go to the restroom, or say that you have to take the call and excuse yourself from the situation. Above all, use common sense. If it seems like a bad place to use your phone or tablet, don't use it!

Olive Garden

Cold breadsticks, loud people around us, vinegar-tasting wine, and frozen tiramisu described our most recent visit.

The tomato sauce on the chicken parmesan was horrible. It was like chicken patties bought from a cheap store and the chefs poured cheap spaghetti sauce over it.

Another of my meal ordered tonight was the alfrado and the chicken alfredo. For me, the chicken alfredo was very dry. The alfredo was another major dissatisfaction. It was a dry mess that couldn't hold up to its once perfect reputation.

My mother ordered the House White wine and she described it as a cheap wine that had less flavor than a five dollar bottle of wine from Kroger.

Finally, we got the bill and it was outrageous!!! And I thought our trip to Red Lobster was bad (a review later). Now, to the fun part.. the frozen tiramisu.

For a tiramisu, most would expect perfection. Creamy, warm, and coffee tasting. We didn't get that from this meal. Today we got a half-frozen tiramisu that was sent back, microwaved, and then ruined.

The management was very disappointing and only funded us a $20 gift card back to them.

This meal was a major disappointment to all of us. And the most disappointing part was that the salad and Andes mints were the best part of the meal.

The waiter was fine and was given a fair tip.

King Henery Died By Drinking Chocolate Milk

So... why did he die from chocolate milk? I have no freaking idea... but it works. This is an easy way for scientists and mathmatitions to understand how to change certain METRIC measurements into othe METRIC units (i.e.: g --> mg). So, let's go through this a bit at a time. So, KHDDCM are the first letters of each of the parts of the METRIC system (kilograms, centimeters, etc.). The B is the base root of the METRIC system (meters, grams, liters, etc.).

So take a problem like: 1.50L=x mL? Answer for 'x'.

For each of the times we neet to move the decimal we add a zero, and we'll count up or back using the Metric Conversion Chart [KHD(B)DCM].

So we're starting at liters, so we'll start at the B for the Base. So, go from B to M to find your answer.

If you got 1,500; you're correct. If not... ask you science teacher to help you learn the problem better.

Algebra 1: The four-step plan

Most algebraic equasions have some sort of problem to figure out... though you probly go through the steps already, this is kind of a review.

1) Understand the problem: What are you being asked to do?
-Read the problem fully
-Save/write down anything that could help answer the problem
-Discard the unneeded information; the "other" info is just going to get in the way and mess up your train of thought. YOU DON'T NECESSARILY NEED ALL THE INFO!
-Rewrite the problem with the necessary info
2) Plan to solve the problem: Write an equasion and define the variable(s).
3) Solve the problem: Figure out the answer.
4) Check your solution with a calculator: Make sure you're right.

So, weather it's Algebra or basic math, I recommend this to everyone who reads and needs a little help!

Visually, the mouse looks like any ordinary mouse, but the keyboard doesn't have the CAPS, NUM, and Scroll Lock lights to tell you when you have those buttons engaged! I DO love the fact that you never have to Sync it over and over, and the USB 2.4 GHz wireless transmitter only takes one USB port to run both of the devices! However, the mouse and keyboard stops in the middle of whatever you're doing, so it isn't great for gaming like Halo or any Multilayer games. I would give this a 1 1/2 Star product rating and I wouldn't recommend this to the General Public or the people who get irritated easily. It was fine because I didn't even have to pay for it! I had no idea why I got it, but I thought that I liked it in the beginning but now I really really HATE it. You ever looked at a new game and said "I want that!" But, you go home and realize, you can never have this game! You only have a XBOX 360, but the game you want is for PS3. Five tech sites you should avoid and why

There are many tech websites out there in the world, but some just don't get the slice of cake! I've created a list of those below! Also, check out my article about "Ten tech sites you should always go to and why".

1. Gnomies.com

Why is this so bad? I feel that you shouldn't have to pay for tech news and tips, but get them for free. I also don't like the owner because he is a self-centered jack***.

2. Slashdot.org

Why is this one a bad one, since it did get on the list for the "10 Best Tech Websites". Personally, I don't like the layout of the site. If I wanted that layout, I'd look at facebook or Twitter,

3. Engadget.com

I know, I know... looks aren't everything, but come on! It looked like a two year old programed it! (Not that I could do better)...

4. BoingBoing.com

Okay... first of all... it sounds like a sex-based site, second of all... How can this be one of the "10 Best Tech Websites" when I see nothing related to tech?!? That'd be like saying I'm a chicken or something!

5. Digg.com

The site has three million views, but no one can post unless pointed admin so they can edit stuff! I am on there and if there is a way to post, I can't find it! Also, the site hasn't been updated in forever, so maybe a layout change would be good!

Windows 7, Ubuntu 11.10, Oh my!

Okay, so many people have asked me what I do in my free time, so, here I go... I read and I write, I also work on my RP skills and I try to stay as fit as possible. But I also do many geek things. You know, I should do a show and call it "You know you're a geek if..."! I think every geek in the world just died when they red that. So, for me, the first one would be: "You know you're a geek if you install Ubuntu in a virtual machine in your free time". That's right, today I installed Ubuntu 11.10 (codenamed Ocelot) on my Windows 7 machine using vmWare Player 4.0.

The ups of having two operating systems

Now I know a lot of you will ask me: "Why do you need two OS'ess?" And my answer will be: "Because one thing or another on my PC doesn't work like it should, plus, I promised you guys that I'd do a few Ubuntu tutorials".

Ubuntu... Why do you have such a long freaking name?

Okay, another thing a lot of people don't like about, and I, myself also don't like, Ubuntu is their names... Windows has had most numbers (i.e. 7, 97, 3, 1...); Mac always had names for OS X (o-ess-ten), but they were simple (i.e. Lion, Snow Leopard, Tiger...); Ubuntu.... never had just one or the other... it was always something like: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)... COME ON! Why do you need such a long title? Anyway... moving on...

What is in Ubuntu that is so important to people like me and you?

Well... mostly it's the price. Ubuntu is FREE (and you can get it here) whereas Windows is about $150 for basic, but to go way up, it's about $300 (which is mad!). Now Mac you HAVE TO buy a Mac to legally use Mac OS X (now known just as OS X).
The second best thing about the big 'U' is that all of your drivers are already there... now I have a M-AUDIO PRODUCER USB from Avid that I had some troubles with, but soon got it working. I use a WLAN card in my computer (my big lug) to get internet access and haven't had any issues using Ubuntu. When I first installed Windows 7, I was forced to manually instal the software for the ASUS ePCI card.

Windows vs. Ubuntu... who gets it, and who doesn't?

Well, here we are at our final question... What is worth your time and money? Windows is a GREAT gaming platform (expecally with dX12 coming out later this year)! Though you may not like how it looks, there are many personalization plans out there... most for free. Ubuntu has a great look right from the box and is awesome for older PC's! It takes very little space for the OS (only about 4.4 GB) and usually takes only a minimum of 300 MB of RAM! Windows, however, requires a lot more of both. I personally use both because not all of my software is available for Ubuntu (which is a Linux OS) that I use on Windows.

The endgame

So, what's my opinion? Well I feel that if your machine is older, and you want to try something new, go for Ubuntu! But if you're a Mac or Windows fanboy (which is okay) you should try Ubuntu first either in a virtual machine, or from the CD (NOTE: the speed won't be accurate if using the CD b/c it's on a CD) before jumping head first into it. Now, if you do switch there are some awesome items in the Ubuntu Software Center (now just called Software Center) that will cover for your current items on your desktop. And as always, make sure to back up your data in case you do switch back to Windows or Mac.
