UPDATE and moving on

So this week is one I will never forget, my best friend of over 10 years died, my dog. She meant more to me then most people have ever. It was and will be for awhile hard to deal with, but life is moving forward with or with out me, so I can move on too or get left behind in sorrow and loss. I don't post on this blog much if at all because I just have a lot of things that keep my mind busy. I don't have much time to sit and indulge in intellectual writing or conversation much.
My personal life is something I use to be very open about, back when I pretty much knew no one read or cared about it. As of late a lot of people know who I am and search for information about me, So I don't talk much about personal things.

I love quotes, but I find this one to be particularly true. Also, you could easily change "guy" to 'woman" and it would still be true. Anyways, did you know listening to reggae can help calm anxiety? The beat syncs with your heart and calms you down.

So, today I bought two new books that should hopefully be good.
I got, The Court of the Air and The Kingdom Beyond the Waves. Both books are written by Stephen Hunt.

(The Court of the Air commenced Hunt's Jackelian fantasy series, and was the first of his works to be published by HarperCollins, also the publisher of J. R. R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis in the UK. The Court of the Air was one of the ten books selected by the organisers of the Berlinale Film Festival/Co-Production Market for presentation to US and European film producers. HarperCollins' elevator pitch for The Court of the Air was summarized as Charles Dickens meets Bladerunner.

In November 2008, his second book in the Jackelian series, The Kingdom Beyond the Waves, was nominated for the long-list of the David Gemmell Legend Award for Fantasy. The second novel continues the misadventures of u-boat privateer Commodore Jared Black, as the commodore goes in search of the ruins of a lost ancient utopia.)

I started reading the court of the air, and seems good thus far.

So, yeah, it's been awhile since I posted a blog post. The reason I stopped are many, but it started with the actual blog breaking and I was too f'ed to even care to fix it. Lot's of things in my life have come and gone, lot's of deaths in my family, but overall filled with drama and busy days.
So, I decided to start blogging again because I see my life having some change soon. I need a place to vent and write again.

Also so if anyone does actually read this, instead of a bunch of crap no one cares about. I am also adding a poem. This poem is not by me, however it's a new favorite of mine.
