The ever reliable Ibrahim of The Nokia Review has published another slick educational N900 video, this time about how to search for relevant podcasts and vidcasts. The clip may only be 30 seconds long, but it’s very neatly edited, so you actually plenty out of the short space of time.

N97 Mini activity: Mariachi band visits unsuspecting pub

At WOM World/Nokia, we’ve been doing a bit of activity around the N97 Mini lately with a few of our friends. One of whom was Rupert Howe at Twitter Vlog, who has posted a video of his experience - it’s fair to say his night in the pub was more memorable than most.

Some facts and figures on Ovi’s progress

The Ovi Store has been around for almost half a year now and a few facts and figures about its progress have emerged, as Phat Trance at Daily Mobile reports.

Amongst the nuggets of information are that: ‘On average, each registered user has downloaded at least 8 items from Ovi Store’, and: ‘In October, the number of content items downloaded was over 70% higher than in Sept’.

He starts by saying: ‘I had briefly handled one at Nokia World back in September, but back then being a little dismissive due to the larger N97, and its initial problems, you could say that I tarred the N97 Mini with the same brush as the bigger N97. Big mistake! Let me explain why…’

Reviews of the Nokia Home Music Stereo are about as rare as the unearthing of a genuinely talented X-Factor contestant, so getting to read an in-depth piece about the device is pretty exciting.
