Thanks everyone who attended. We missed those of you who couldn't attend. Hope to see you next month.

In response to parking, I have attended several events now, at Pampas, and I have found that I prefer to use the valet parking on Harmon, just east of LV Blvd. If you are coming east from LV Blvd., you just make a U-turn into the driveway where you see the big Miracle Mile shop entrance and there is a valet at street level, right there. You can then just walk a few yards east to the Miracle Mile shop entrance, Pampas is just right inside the door.

Pampas Brazilian Grille 2008 Kick Off Luncheon

WCR 2008 kicked off the new year at a new location on the strip. Pampas Brazilian Grille at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino offered great food and an interesting dining experience.

The last time I was there I found the quickest way in was to park in the Planet Hollywood Parking Garage head for one of the top floors, park and take the elevator down to the Miracle Mile shops entrance. Make an immediate left and walk down the corridor. Pampas is on your left past the Magic Shop.

WCR held their last meeting of the year at Dragon Ridge Country Club. Their annual Holiday Auction was a huge success.

Nancy Anderson, 2007 Chapter President gave her farewell speech and honored her 2007 Board of Directors. The were a ton of great items available to bid that were donated by members and affiliates of WCR Las Vegas.

Cheryl Smith was presented with WCR Las Vegas Member of the Year presented by Sue Naumann.

Sima USA section at NAR in Las Vegas 2007 was pretty spectacular with many countries represented at the conference.

Panama, Costa Rica, The Dominican Republic had a majority of the space wrapped up showcasing their extremely cool products. From high rise to private villas there was too much to see.

We spoke with many developers who were in planning for presales phase. If you would like more info on any specific country we can put you in touch with the developer of the project.
Investing in Real Estate inside the United States is great but there are some great places around the globe you might want to look at for a 2nd home or retirement location

WCR Las Vegas had its booth filled with blue and gold ballons making a great ceiling. Also, there were giant WCR Letters in Gold Floating Overhead....
