Why capacitence not depend on charge and potential

This is the image of real capacitor.

It has capacity to store charge which we called as Capacitance ( C)

We know that it's formula is C=Q/V

But it doesn't depend on charge and potential

How is that possible?

If we have a Capacitor SO if we increase the value of charge it's potential also RISES

( I mean that you have to do more work to store charge it's obvious as well and thats why we have potential in formula of Capacitance)

And potential and charge both RISES so the whole ratio remains same.

So Capacitance only change if whole ratio get affected for example if a capacitor has a large value of Q at small v so you can store a lot of charge it means Capacitance increase.

And

So how much is capacitor able to store charge it depends upon Geometrical parameters.

It is practically determined.

Examples of network topology-

Star

But we talk about one of the most important and popular setup plan I mean popular topology because network topology is how the network gonna be setup

In star topology

= every node(computer) is connected to a central node hub or switch

= so centralized management exist

= it is scalable model...

There are many disadvantage s of this topology

=Like if central hub or switch got stopped working because of too much traffic then whole network gonna stop

Do you know why all teachers say potential difference is more important than potential..

But ❓why

See potential difference is actually energy⚡ difference between 2 points

And believe me this is very valuable in physics

You can think of electrons...

If electrons are at higher energy and you have lower energy portion as well thn electrons starts flowing and we get current..

You can understand this very easily

So energy difference leads to many phenomenas in physics like electric current... Etc

If you have energy thn you can play football and waste energy...

Similarly electrons have energy so they can flow towards their low energy point...

So it's very Obvious thing to understand

SO if you have huge potential difference

Suppose one point is at 2 volt And one is at 1000volt

So vigorous amount of potential energy is converted into kinetic energy and we get excellent current....

When we talk about organic reactions like

Sn2

Sn1

So we all have studied these reaction... Isn't it...

We know that if we have good leaving group And strong nucleophile sn2 will happen

And if we have this that will happen it's true but not perfect

Actually when we do reaction in laboratory all sorts of things can happen if that are possible so we never get pure products we always get mixture of product but one of them is measure according to the condition we give for reaction then we purifying and get our major product....

So conditions are very important suppose you have an strong nucleophile and an alkyl hallide

Like this green color ball is chlorine it is Chloroprpoane

And you have some good nucleophile like oh-ve

So what you think you have good leaving group And strong nucleophile you will get sn2???

Ya you are right but sn1 will also happen.....the thing is major product is of sn2 but a little bit of sn1 product is also formed so you have to do purification to get major sn2 product.

Let have more fun what Will happen if I put heat as well

Thn elimination also comes in possibility and any of reaction can happen , e1, e2, sn2

SO you see that reactions are competing

So we always get mixed product but one of them is measure according to the conditions we apply...

If I would replace oh-ve by koH and cl by iodine and provide more heat e2 will won the race but e1 comes 2nd and little bit of e1 product also get formed so we have to do distillation to get e2 product......

But what if you replace chlorine by flourine a poor leaving group and koh is there so what can happen base captures the proton first...formation of Carboanion thn fluorine leaves this goes via a e1cb And you get Hoffman alkene but ya you also get a little bit of e1 product as well you have to purify the thing's.....

So competition is everywhere even in reactions... It is funny right??????

Why alternating current is more dangerous than direct current

Which is more dangerous ac or dc??

See ac is current that changes it's direction after evry half turn

If I will ask you a question that

If you have

220 volt ac supply

And 220 Volt dc supply

Which is more dangerous??

You will answer both are equally dangerous ..

But sorry ac is more dangerous

220 volt is rms value ,at peak value is more isn't it...

While in DC if I said 220 it means 220 .. It was the actual voltage of dc

Direct current has 0 frequency

And you know frequency is the main reason for ac to be more dangerous

You will get shocked many times because of ac because it's frequency is changing many times current becomes zero and many times current become highest

This will give you many shock

And make ac more dangerous

So don't try to touch the ac

Alternating current vs direct current

Actually,

Main difference is alternating current changes direction

While direct current is always in one direction

So you can see from graph that direction of ac changing....

So there is a question comes in mind why direction of ac is change????????

So we have to understand how ac is generated...

Actually if we have a coil And we change magnetic flux through coil by moving it or rotating it there is an emf is induced

This was observed by Faraday

Because of which current is induced in coil

This current is in that direction opposite to the change that has induced it it called lenz law..

Suppose you rotate a coil in magnetic field

Lets see rotation

Till this point you see magnetic flux incrasing so acc. To lenz law

Current is in that direction that decrease the magnetic field

I mean anticlockwise you can think see the digram anticlockwise current produce upward magnetic field that opposes existing magnetic field that's actually lenz law...

After half rotation 👀see the image

Notice flux start decreasing so current is in that direction which increase the flux

I mean clockwise current

So notice when we start rotating the loop till half turn current is in anticlockwise

After half turn flux starts decreasing so current flows in clockwise to increase the flux

So that's why we get sinosudal curve for our ac because after every half turn it changes it's direction.

So it's actually lenz law which tell us that direction of current induced is opposite to the change that has produced it.......

And lenz law actually based on law of energy conservation

Ac is produced by ac generator. . . We will talk about it later...

Lets see the mechanism

Firstly

This is a one step reaction there is no intermediate like carbonation or Carboanion

Basically in simple language

-A nucleophile comes

And attack from Backside And the leaving group leaves..

Backside attack is happening because if attack will happen from front side there is steric hindrance or electronic repulsion between electron clouds💨 of leaving groups and nucleophile

After this a invasion of configuration happens
