Lap Band: Was it worth it?

After 6 years of being banded, I am now experiencing problems with acid reflux. Over the past year, I have had two dilations. I am completely deflated now and still am having problems with reflux. No worries, folks. I have been to the doctor and will have an appointment to be "scoped" soon. Are there any lap banders out there who share this issue? Did you have the band removed or replaced? Please share below!

Garage Sale tips

I am having a garage sale mid-April after much preparation. Price labels on each item and flourescent green signs made. I am wondering if anyone in the area has benefited from advertising in the local Benbrook News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, garagesalefinder.com or craigslist.org? I have read that people are not subscribing to the paper anymore and wonder if only using the free online services will suffice. The items valued over $10 I have already placed on craigslist with much success. Please leave any suggestions/comments about your experiences with advertising for your garage sale in the comments below.

I never imagined as a young child of the '70's a future of blogging and creating web pages and social networking. I remember fondly the "House of the Future" exhibit at Walt Disney World and wondered if we would all be living in a sterilized white house, with instant food materializers, and communicating via videophone to everyone while living in an anti-gravity existence. Well, one can hope anyway...
