i don't think this is the first time i did a drawing with this phrase. i realized i didn't know what the heck it even means so i looked it up. it's from an old joke where a burglar is stealing chickens and when the farmer hears something and goes to investigate so the burglar says "nobody here but us chickens!"

Long time no see, Woodle Doodle. My friend Andrew waited politely for me to take forever to draw an avatar for him. Well here it is!! But I bet you forgot he has been on Woodle Doodle before.

Personality: Very shy, he is a loner who likes to concentrate on his work. He got into cooking due to pressures from his parents, but he does enjoy it. He looks tough, especially due to his robotic arm (which is customized solely for cooking purposes), but he's actually rather sensitive. Make fun of him for carrying a "purse" (messenger bag) and he'll mope for weeks.
Dream: To gain some self confidence to find someone to share his interests with.

OK I know I have been disappointing everyone with the 30 character thing. I have been working on it though, along with another project. So I guess I will post the character concepts I have so far! But the details of the project come later. I will just call the project by a code name: "DINNER BELL." All the characters are dessert chefs. I'm gonna split up the posts.

Macaron Sister (Younger)
Specialty: Macarons (duh)
Hobby: Nature walks while listening to music, cat naps
Personality: Her head's always up in the clouds. When she cooks she goes to her "happy place" and is likely to skip around even more than usual. She only seems to get angry when you cross her sister.

Macaron Sister (Older)
Specialty: Macarons (duh)
Hobby: Wasting money on fancy stuff
Personality: Although she seems ditzy, when it comes to her passion of cooking, she works very hard. Although she's the older sister, her younger sister is always looking out for her. She can be a bit of cry baby. She is popular with the boys but she doesn't care about that.

Background: They had a hard childhood that brought them to be very close. Older likes to finally get a taste of the fancy side of things via glamorous cooking. Younger tends to use baking to escape to her own fantasy world of fluffy sweetness.

Dream: Run their own sweets store together

AWRIGHT it's the start of a new month, the start of a new woodle quest.

There is this website, www.30characters.com, and they are doing a challenge to do 30 characters this month, so I will give it a shot! I didn't sign up to be on the site in time though, so this is confined to this blog.

The first character is this here Bunflower. Half bunny, half flower, all cute. Her best friend is a little watering can buddy.

For the record I also considered the name Hoppy Poppie(s) but as you can see that didn't quite work out. The flower doesn't look like a sunflower but Bunflower sounds cute anyway.

When I was almost done I thought of something though. Sanrio already has Usahana doing the bunny / flower combo...... oopps... Well, better luck next time, but I think if I change the colors a bit more there will be very little resemblance at all :/

booty copter returns

soon summer ends and fall begins officially. here is booty copter equipped lightly for a little last minute summer relaxation in the pool.

thanks to blogger's new statistics tools, i am now able to analyze what brings people to this site in order to bring you a better woodle doodle experience. and the stats have pointed to one thing: more booty-copter. thanks to my SEU (search engine ultimization) woodle doodle is the number one result for "booty copter" and "booty-copter." i can't wait to see how this effects my google ad words results, which has to date earned me 4 cents somehow despite having no clicks.

sorry for the lack of woodles for a long time, i had some stuff going on, and was not in the best woodle mindset. i have been making progress on some other stuff that hopefully i'll finish up soon, including a new and better woodle doodle (maybe.)

(in case it wasn't obvious, i am joking around about the ads and stuff, don't worry about it, i am just doing this site for fun lol. i really like to see what weird ads google comes up with based on the keywords used on this blog though lol)

their eyes met on the beach by a coincidence, but they were too shy to say anything so the story ends there. also he was visiting the beach with his little sister but he didn't feel embarrassed by the girly stuff on his blanket.

sorry i haven't been updating, i lost my tablet pen. usually i find it within a day or two.. ug.

so i drew this at work based on a pose on posemaniacs (can't find the exact one.) i figured i should work on poses and angles within my own style. this one is pretty confusing. but i'll keep working on poses and angles!
