1. She started walking when she was like 14 months old...so this video was probably before that
2. She always had her stuffed "Halie Dog"
3. She was also very good at saying "no"

Memory Bad - Good Memories

I have a bad memory. Unlike my brother and my wife, I can't seem to recall simple details from the past. So I want to try ad keep a record of memories...These memories come from three videos taken at the same time.

Here are my memories from these videos:
1. Ariel was very rollie pollie
2. I had forgotten she ALWAYS sucked on our fingers
3. This was about the time when I started to really enjoy fatherhood

There is no volume...but it's still good memories

A short while ago I was visiting my brother and his family. Like us, they have a small two bedroom house, big enough for one family. Therefore, having guests sleep over is like playing Tetris. We’ll put our baby in the closet, and the 3 year old on a mattress beside us. Your baby goes in the second bedroom and you can sleep on an air mattress in the living room. Sometimes it works great, but you parents realize that often times 11 month old babies, which my daughter Ariel was at the time, don’t always make sleep time very fun. We’ll this day hadn’t really gone right to start with. Ariel didn’t take her nap that she needs, didn’t want to eat, she’s teething and grumpy, so that day had frustrating as it is. We figured if we can just get her to sleep she’ll be fine. We’ll we lay her down and she’s too tired to sleep...ever held a baby that’s too tired to sleep. She’s sweating and squirming and clawing at your face. If you lay her down she cries which can be heard throughout the house. We don’t want to be rude and just LET her cry, waking up Chris’ baby and son. So we stand up with her, lay on the floor, rock her...al the while exhausted ourselves...As soon as we think she’s ready to be laid down she starts to cry. Teri and I would take turns back and forth, trying to find someway to get her to go to sleep. Eventually we brought her to our air mattress, which had a leak. Ariel wouldn’t stay still...all the sudden it was time to climb over and under mommy and daddy. “No, Ariel you can’t get off the bed”. Whispering trying not to wake up the house, and getting to a point of exhaustion and becoming delirious. We were at our wits end. After many hours 3:00 am comes and the demon child who has been unrelenting, final starts to settle. Quite settles over the house, we take a sigh of relief, and start to drift off to sleep. Then Ariel pops her head up, looks at us and says, “BA-BY”. What else can you do but laugh give her a big huge. She went another hour before Teri put her to sleep by driving her around the block a few times.

Ariel Walks

3. Hopefully Ariel will read this when she gets older and will learn new and interesting things about her life growing older.

Today Ariel took her first steps on camera. Those legs will take her many places. I wonder where?

She also was very sick with "The crook"(?) I don't think that is a real sickness. I think its an onomonpia. It's sounds like she's saying "crook, crook" when she coughs.
