The Prisoner #2

This is the second issue of the mini-comic. As you might remember from the review of the first issue, it is written from within the prison by a young guy who’s serving a 6 year sentence.

This issue deals with the authors relationship with his cell mates and the other prisoners. How they pass the time and how they have a small “party” and get drunk with diy-wine. It also mentions how hard it is for foreign prisoners who don’t speak the language and how difficult it is to get out of prison and not return. In the end of the comic, the author describes how he applied and got a job in the prison to fight boredom and to lessen his sentence. His adventures as a cook in prison will be topic of the next issue.

It’s Sunday already, so time for this week’s zine roundup. For those of you that haven’t seen any of these posts before, every Sunday I make a list of zines (new or old) that where uploaded during the week and put the links on a single post. This way you can easily find new zines to download and print/read. So keep coming back every Sunday for the new list of zines.

For those you who use a Feed Reader (google reader, FeedDemon etc), you can subscribe to the site’s RSS feed and get all the updates automatically. If you don’t use RSS feeds but you want to receive the updates without having to check the site all the time, you can subscribe to the feed via e-mail.
