Renewal of Philippine Passport

It's been 2 weeks since we went to Chicago to renew my Philippine passport. I decided to renew my Phil. passport we are planning to go down to the Philippines in few months. I really miss my family so much and I have couple reasons why I want to renew my passport. First is I want that I get my passport as soon as possible. Second, is I need more money to process US citizen. I need more than $1k for that.
By the way, if you are asking how much is the passport renewal it's only $60. But passport and photocopy is another payment but not that much.

Here's the requirements for Renewal of Philippines Passport:
1. Submit 2 identical passport.
2. Submit old passport
3. Submit photocopies
a.1-2 data page of old passport and the page with the latest arrival stamp in the U.S.
b. Alien registration card (green/pink card), for US permanent residents or US visa.
c. Proof of actual residence such as driver's license, state ID, employment ID, or utility bills.
4. If you are married abroad, Report of Marriage (Download the Application).
a. need husband 2 passport ID & your 2 passport ID. Then paste the ID's of you and your husband below the marriage application then photocopy it. If you and your husband will apply in person you can photocopy 3-4 for sure. But if you file alone without your husband just notarize it first. You can do it in the embassy or in your state.

5. Passport Fee $60.

Enjoy your stay in Chicago or either in Washington DC. Be ready for the expenses lol! we paid $150 bucks for 3 nights to park our car. It's ridiculous price. You can not park without paying the parking area. Be ready for the traffic too :) of the big city.

Pizza Time

I'm glad that I don't have to work today not like the other Sundays. But it's good though for the paycheck but for now I need some rest.
When I woke up this morning I am thinking to sew more cloth diapers. But instead I spent my whole time watching movie with hubby and making homemade pizza.

By the way, it's little bit windy today so we don't feel like going outside and walk around our parameter. We aim to walk at least 20-30 minutes everyday. For now, I tried to eat plant base diet after I learned that I have high bad cholesterol. After a month of trying not to eat fatty foods, I lost 6 lbs now. Then, hubby lost 17 lbs too so I need to learn how to cook a healthy food that is less in fats, salt and sugar. So we maintain our weight and low our cholesterol. I never thought that we will eat a strong plant base food and for the first time. We are meat eater and it's hard for us to change our lifestyle and it's so amazing that hubby and I did it. There's good side of not eating meat, I didn't experience bad cramps and terrible pain during my monthly cycle for this month. I think I have to stay in my diet now for the sake of good health.

Food for thought" You can do all things through Christ who gave me strength :)

Outside the Nursing Home w/ Friends so happy...

One of my favorite day is Saturday why? because I could be able to be with my love ones. To be with God, with family, friends and people in the community is my greatest joy. My friends, my hubby and I went to one of the nursing home in the city. They invited us to sing couple songs, I know we are not the greatest singers in the world but one thing I know that we sing songs for the glory of God. I saw teary eyes, when we sing the song entitled "Remember Someone is Praying For you" I know that some of the residence in the nursing home suffering from pain, their health problems and then they missed their families. They need to know that someone cares about them and praying for them. Sometimes I am tempted not to join the group because I need rest and I need to do some stuff but what is couple hours when I/we make people happy. After our program we drove home and we decided to stop by in the nearest lake in our place. I felt great and happy after that I can not hold my hand :) Hopefully we will visit again in another nursing home in a week and visit people in rehab center. Well, that's all for now. I need to finish my laundry and clean our kitchen before I forget. So see yah next time.

TrimFit OS Pocket Diaper

Hi guys hope you are doing great this weekend. Right now, I'm great and I'm taking it easy in a little bit before I prepare our dinner:)
I am thinking to sew more cloth diapers, baby clothing but I need a break. I work more than 8 hours today so I am worthy to have a break. I can say that my body is weak but my mind wanted to work :). My fashion in sewing really want me to do something. Well, yesterday I finished few baby diapers. For some reasons I fall in love to sew baby cloth diapers and then I buy a lot of fabrics. Just last week I got my 25 yards of zebra waterproof fabrics. Boy! I can not denied that I am fabricaholic now. My small sewing room has a lot of fabrics. The problem is I don't have enough time to sew since I am working more than 8 hours a day.
I really enjoyed so much especially when I see my finish products:) Here's the sneak peak of my handmade diapers using TrimFit OS Pocket pattern.

Lifelike Baby Doll

At first I really want to have a baby and then it didn't happened. I question why I can not have a baby when I am okay. But then God's plan for us is different. I know it's not yet time because when it happen it happen. We are happy even we don't have small baby.

I really wanted to have baby models to model my handmade cloth diapers and dresses. So, I bought baby doll in the store but I am not satisfied by the looks it's really a doll. I want that it looks like a baby. I look online and found a reborn baby doll on ebay and guess what? how much it's $300-700. I can not afford to buy that much so I research how to reborn a baby doll. I tried and I'm glad I did it. Here they are, taa..dang...isn't that lifelike baby doll? Below are their photos. Just to let you know, I buy reborn kit in ebay and reborn it my own. Now I'm happy that I have models:) that way I don't need to worry about crying and complaining. They all are obedient to me lol!

Change of Weather

For the past few weeks we enjoyed the beautiful weather outside. Hubby and I are spending our quality time together. We had dinner outside and we grilled and watch the sun set. I felt like it's spring for few months.

I took picture of us outside our lawn. I can say that not only the sunset is beautiful but it's beautiful because I spent time with my hubby.

then...after the picnic...snow was falling so hard.

We had 10-12" of snow.

I love the beauty of winter though I hate the coldness and I don't like driving on the slick road.
Now, the thick snow is still on the ground but the sun is shining so bright so beautiful.
As long as I'm warm everything is fine for me lol! Well, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi! I just want to let you know that I'm still alive and kicking. I know that it's been a while that I didn't update this blog. I am very busy in my work and in my sewing carrier and other house chores. I found a job 3 months ago and since then I wasn't able to update not only this blog but my other blogs. But now I don't want to just have this blog and not updating it so here I am again. Back into my blogging world lol!

Well, I can not cover if I write down the happening for the past few months that I'm gone. But I pretty much sure that I am good and I did a lot of giveaways and memes for the past few months.

Maybe you wonder what kind of giveaways? I made a lot of handmade stuff and then packed for give away. But now, I have to sew more for order and giveaways again so please check for more handmade creations.

The Beauty of Steamboat Springs Lake

Hi guys sorry for not updating this blog. I just want to let you know that I'm still alive and kicking :)
We just got back from our vacation and oh boy! its really worth it. We spent many days in Wyoming and Colorado. I want to share a picture in Steam Boat Springs Lake in Colorado. It's a beautiful place to go and if you are adventurous type of person. It's a nice place to camp out, go for a fishing, hike, date:) with your loved one and more.

My hubby and I really love the place so much and we are planning to go back to Colorado for the third time around. If not next year maybe another time, next year hopefully we can go down to the Philippines to see my family. I miss my family so much, I didn't see them for over 3 years now.
Well, that's the way it goes over all I'm okay here in US and thankful to God for giving me a wonderful husband. By the way, I will really try to update as often as I can so please stay tune lol. I have more than 6 blogs and it's all active so sometimes I forgot to update this blog. I will try not to forget to update okay so please check out later. Have a great weekend to all!

I'm very busy for the past few months. I sewed a lot, reborn 3 baby dolls and do other stuff. I will show the finished products. I sewed cloth diapers, pillowcase dresses, and many more. Last week, I reconstructed unused big t-shirt and use as my sleepwear, it's comfortable and cool to wear especially this hot weather. I am planning to have free tutorial for you guys but will see if I have free time to post the free tutorial.

Hi how are you guys? I've been busy for the past few weeks and I wasn't able to update this blog.
For now, I'm inside our truck because we are traveling now. We're on our way to Kentucky then in the morning we will go to Indiana. I have my laptop on me so I have time to update this blog.

Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

By the way, I will talk about processing papers today. My temporary green card already expired. But before the expiration of my g-card, the embassy sent me a notice to file to remove conditional residency. I file all the requirements and I'm done with my biometric. Now I am waiting for another notice from the embassy. I don't know what's next so I have to wait. If you are planning to process for the removal of conditional residency you can check the link below and all of the requirements to make it sure.

The requirements:

I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence form.
Joint checking and savings bank account.
At least 2 affidavits w/notary on it.
Your child birth certificate if you have a kid.
Photocopy of your temporary resident card (front and back).
Tax record that you are the beneficiary.
Joint property.
Joint credit card or loans.
Joint electricity and phone bills.
other documents that proves that you are still married or living together.
Payments $590 including the biometric.

Now, I'm very thankful to God for helping me to fulfill all of my dreams and goals in life. I believe that when we put our plans, dreams in God's hand and we believe in our self that all our dreams become true in his will and time. I been through a lot of difficulties and hardship just to fulfill my dreams in life. Praise to God he hears my earnest prayers and help me.

Unpredictable Weather

I am spoiled of the weather for the past week. It's sunny and I had a lot of fun walking around our acreage. So,I never expected for another snowy days but last night, the weather forecaster said that there's winter storm advisory today in our place and they are calling for 2 to 4 inches of snow. It doesn't make me feel happy at all because I am ready for spring. But that's the way it is we have unpredictable weather here in Nebraska. Just Excited

Today is sunny and I'm glad that it is. I am tired of this cold weather and I'm tired of wearing thick coat, jacket and pants. I don't need snow and I am pretty much ready for this coming spring and summer. It's nice to think about our plan to go for canoeing this memorial day. Hubby is very excited about it and he wants to bring his sailboat in the lake. It's been a while that we didn't go for sailing and boating. So hopefully we can go to table rock lake again in Missouri. Oh boy! I am just excited to think about our plan hahaa.. I want to go for boating and fly fishing in Colorado again it's so much fun too whuahh....Oh my i am looking to see my friend again soon. I better get a going before I get to much excitement for our plan. Have a great day!

Looking Forward for Spring

More Than One Million

Last night was not a good night for us because we had winter storm. It's so cold and mostly when the weather is cold I feel sluggish. When it's warm I am active and energetic. I don't know what's the connection of the weather to my body but I feel that way.

In the other hand, my husband is busy researching and looking for a very good water pump for his next year activities. I am closed to him and I have very cold feet and I felt that I am not so active just sitting beside him. So I push myself to arranged the new fabrics that I bought in the store. Then, cut some of the fabrics so I can sew another dress or diaper today.

We are very quite inside my small sewing room for few minutes, while hubby use my computer. Then suddenly it came into mind that I would suspense hubby... I told him if that I won more than one million jackpot prize. He looked at me and said oh! your kidding me. I told him that I am not kidding him and I am sincere. He said yes it's nice to win more than one million and that we can pay all our bills and no need to worry about it. Then, I said yes I did win more than a million. I smile at him and hug him so tightly and I said yes I won, I told him that his worth more than one million and I'm very sure I won more than one million. He laughed and hug me...so our drama end up that way.

I just sometimes crazy especially all is quite and when I understand that he/she has problem. I want to divert it into laughter so when hubby came home from work with heavy face. I smile at him and told him that he looks so cute when his face is so heavy. He said ding-dong and then laugh hahaha... When I heard him laughing and I laughed too. Well, that's the flavor of life, I love fun and I don't want to worry when we have financial problem. I think that if I worried a lot and it helps me so I will worry for 1 week. But oh no! it didn't help me so better not to worry.

Ok I have to get a going before I have dilerio.

My Interest in BunnZoo

I sent a bunch of cloth diapers for my friends son who live in Norway. I made one size, pocket style, blue color monkey print diaper. I made one size so it fits to her son until potty training, then it's pocket style so she can add more absorbent insert into the pocket. I am glad that she like it and here's the very first cloth diaper that I sent for baby Harald. Now, I am very interested to sew many BunnZoo cloth diapers. I called it BunnZoo because most of the fabric that I use in sewing cloth diapers are animal prints such as zebra, leopard, butterfly, birds, cheetah and many more. Cold Day

Last night the snow was coming down very hard and I think the snow is 7-12 inches thick if I'm not mistaken. It's really make us hard to drive on the slippery and icy road. I am scared when the road is slick because the tendency are many cars going out of control and car accident are increasing. This morning when we drove by the highway I took pictures of files of snow. I don't have much to do so I able to took few pictures. I am fun of taking pictures here's one of the picture that I took this morning.

Prefold/Burp Cloth

I made this prefold few weeks ago. I went to walmart and found some flannel fabric that was on sale. I bought 5-6 yards of flannel fabrics, I cut and sew couple prefold to try.

I am glad that it came out nice when I use zigzag on the edge. The measurement of this prefold is 21" wide and 18" long.

In the wet zone I sewn 3 layers of terry cloth so it helps the absorbency. It can be use both snappi and pins. If you want to check more of prefold diaper please visit BunnZoo Boutique.

Pink Mini Cooler Fridge

Our weather here in Nebraska is so unpredictable. This morning is cloudy and then right now is snowing. Every day the weather here is different. But I still I went to my dentist appointment for it's so important for me. But before I went to my appointment I dropped by the nearest thrifty store to look around if I can buy fabrics. The last time I went there I bought a lot of fabrics and it's cheaper and it's cute. When I looked around I found a pink mini cooler fridge bag and there is still tag on it means never been use before. I don't have baby right now but I love the pink bag plus I love the light pink color so grabbed it before anyone can get it. It's cute little pink mini cooler fridge.
