Have you ever been told that you have a voice for acting? Being a voice actor or actress is very similar to being an actor, but there are some differences. When you are a voice actor, you act with your voice. Meaning, your emotions and fluctuations all are held within your voice as you speak and act your role or narrate a book.

The wonderful news of being a voice actor is that you can do it in your very own home! You can audition from home, record from home, edit from home and submit your recordings from home. Meaning, you can work in your pajamas and never have to leave the house to drive in traffic or go to a boring office! Those are just some of the rewards of voice acting.

So, how do you start your own voice acting business? Everything is almost the same as starting any business. If you haven't had voice training, you need to brush up on your vocal skills; breathing exercises, keeping your voice clear, voice fluctuation, knowing where to pause, etc... You can even take voice acting classes if needed or you can look on the internet and see what books you can order to help you with your voice acting.

By Vince Stead Platinum Quality Author

If you really need to make some extra money, and don't want to waste your valuable time and money trying to figure out what kind of job you would like to do, then you should do research on the internet, or check out some books from your local library.

If you see an ad, advertising they need help making baby bibs or shoes, and you have to purchase the supplies through them, and they will usually tell you they do not meet their quality standards, when you try to send them the finished product, because they are really in the business of selling supplies and membership fees. So use some common sense, and check out each opportunity carefully. If it is usually to good to be true, it probably is. Most businesses are built up, over time.

You should see jobs that tell you how to start them, what the basics are, and how to make money at it. If you want to cook and bake your own muffins, or home dinners, and sell them to your neighbors to start up a small business, that just might work. If you want to buy some yard tools, and start up your own lawn business, you would probably do OK with that also. If you wanted to stuff envelopes for someone, changes are, they would just be selling you the materials, and you would get screwed in the long run!

You should be able to put together all the jobs you think you would have the most interesting and happiness in, since you should do what you like, and if you like it, you should do better in that job. If you hate your job from the beginning, why even go down that road then.

Beware of any company that wants you to send them money right off the bat. If you have to sign up for a membership fee, or pay dues, you should really check the company out thoroughly first before you send them anything.

You could do lots of work at home businesses, that start out small, from the living room to the garage, and then move into a small warehouse or store front, and then before you know it, you are national and have a chain or stores or a giant distribution warehouse, just like most honest businesses do. Just be careful who you send money to, that should be the first red flag you see!
You buy the shoes wholesale for various prices that are all well below $10 a pair. You would sell all the shoes for the same price of $10 a pair. Some shoes, sandals, boots, loafers, and other types of shoes, you might get for $3 a pair. Others shoes might cost $5 a pair, and others for even $7 or $8 a pair.

Even if you paid $9 for a pair of shoes wholesale, and sold them for $10, you would still of made $1. That might not sound like a lot, but customers will buy the cheaper shoes also to, and you will make money on those sales. Any sale is better than no sale, but don't stock up on all $9 shoes. Get a lot of the $5 price range, a lot of the under $5 range, and a little bit of the higher range, and blend them all together.

No 2 customers are alike, some might want a pair of sandals, others might want tennis shoes. Just like a dollar store, they have items in there stores they pay from.05 cents each up to.95 cents each, they sell It all for $1.00, but they mostly stock items in the.60 cents range and make on average.40 cents profit on each dollar, that's gross profit, not net. You can buy shoes and sell them at flea markets and swap meets, or open up a store and have a $10 shoe store.

Vince Stead was in the navy for 8 years, and had worked for himself for the last 20 years. It's not as easy as getting your website built, and then submitting it to the search engines and then bam, you have a million customers at your website buying stuff! If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it! The good news is, if you target your customers just right, and have a nice looking, functional, and shopping cart friendly, easy to navigate website, you should have a good chance at making good sales.

You would want to submit your website to all the free search engines, especially the big ones like yahoo, Google, MSN, AOL and more. There are tons of smaller, less heard of, search engines you can submit to also. Google wasn't always as big as it is today. You will need Meta tags somewhere in your website to be able to get picked up by the search engines, so that is very important for spiders, as they are called, to find you. Some smaller, cheap rate website builders, do not offer this sometimes, so be sure to ask, or you could be wasting lots of money.

If your website sells golf items for instance, you might want to do some advertising in golf magazines for your website. You would also want to join the latest craze of sponsored advertising threw the major search engines, they show the free searches, and then they have other places close by that show the sponsored searches along them that you pay for. You pay a certain amount for click threw, and pick out keywords that people use to type in there own searches when they are searching on the internet for something. You want to use keywords that you think they might type in, to look for something.

When someone does a search with the keywords you picked out, your site pops up, along side other sites. If someone clicks on your site, you get charged a certain amount of money, this is really good advertising and the search engines have been making a lot of money off of this type of advertising instead of just the free search engine results.

Everybody is jumping on the bandwagon. It's a good way to get people to your site that are looking for items you have to sell, you have to monitor your keywords and make sure you are getting your monies worth. The same thing holds true for getting customers to your website threw magazine ads. If you sell motorcycle items, you should advertise in motorcycle magazines to get motorcycle riders to come to your website.

A tennis magazine will probably not pull as many sales as a motorcycle magazine, so don't just advertise anywhere, think about it first. You will need a merchant acceptance account to accept credit cards, there are lots of sites that offer this, and you can do a free search online and see lots of them to pick from. We bought a brand new home from Beazer Homes, and it was just at the end of the real estate boom, and we were pretty sure they were trying to get rid of the last houses in that phase. This was our 4th home we were buying.

This is how we got a brand new construction house with no money down, and we even got a check in the mail for a little over $1,100 from the builder, before we ever paid out one penny!

When we got the home, it went by your credit and your stated income. They did not require any down payment, so we figured we could not lose, since we did not have anything into this last house we got. The others we put down payments on.

The builder also had at the time, a sales thing where they said they were giving $15,000 in upgrades. They paid someone to put in a nice yard with some trees, and they also put in a brand new really nice washer and dryer set. But since they did not spend all of the $15,000 in incentives we got with the house, they only spent about $13,900 or so, and they sent us a check in the mail for the other $1,100. And then I can honestly say that we bought a brand new construction house with no money down, and we got a check in the mail also! that was pretty cool.

As a side note, phase 2 that started behind our sold out phase, has a price of over $100,000 less, so we knew why the builder was unloading them kinda. We still have it and rent it out using a property management company, and hopefully the price will go back up someday!

Vince Stead has written 10 books so far.

You can find his books at places like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and even his own website at http://www.vincestead.com

You can also get most all of my books as digital downloads for only $2.99!

How to Start Your Own 99 Cent Store or Dollar Store

How to Start Your Own 99 Cent Store or Dollar Store
By Vince Stead Platinum Quality Author

If you want to start your own.99 cent store, or dollar store, I can help you out here.

I used to own (2) 99 cent stores in the San Diego area. I had the first one opened in North County in 1990, before most people knew what they were. When I got out of the navy, I was at a swap meet in San Diego, and there was a guy selling stuff, and he was yelling to the people walking by, everything for $1, and he had lots of people buying stuff.

I knew I wanted to get into that business. I drove to Los Angles and drove around, and found a place to buy stuff. This was before the internet was on everyone's desktop.

I came to the conclusion that you make 40 cents on the dollar, in the dollar store business. We used to sell food, toys, cleaning products, jewelry, sunglasses, and so on. I'm sure the bigger chains with super buying power gets even a bigger discount on items. We had 2 products private labeled with our store name on it. I paid.65 cents for each bottle from Hocking International years ago. I had 2,400 bottles of glass cleaner, and 2,400 bottles of green dish soap, made up with my own name on the label, and that was pretty neat, just like all these books I write right now, pretty fun stuff to me.

All the major cities have hubs that you can get products from. Los Angles, Chicago, Miami, New York. If you go to Vernon California, which is a warehouse district in the LA area, you can drive around, and see so many dollar warehouses. They usually paint pictures of the products on the outside of their buildings. Lots of buildings have giant warehouses, with lots of truck roll up door parking.

You would wan to to a search for ASD/AMD trade shows. Lots of close out, liquidation, over stock, discount brands, overseas suppliers, and plenty of dollar store merchandise dealers, are their for your convenience. If you attend just one trade show, you will know where to get everything to open your very own dollar store.

I wrote a book about how to start over 101 businesses. I have listed many of the major suppliers that have been in business for years.

Vince Stead has written 10 books so far. There are several sizes of stump grinding machines, from the smaller units that you can fit onto your back, and carry up a slope or hill, and grind down medium to small size tree stumps. And then there are medium size stump grinders, that you can generally rent from your local rental yard store. Then their are bigger size machines, that need more room, and usually charge more, but can do them faster. You also have giant size machines that can blow you away, if you can find a clip on YouTube or cable television.

We will assume you are going to do it yourself, and you rent a standard size 13hp stump grinding machine. The front of the machine has a blade almost like a circular saw, but with carbide teeth. These teeth are very hard, and if you want to grind them down yourself, you need a green grinding wheel to do that.

The one of the biggest hazards of stump grinding, is one of the teeth can fly out, and I own 2 stump grinding machines, with a small part time stump grinding business in San Diego. And I have saw what a stump grinding tooth can do when it comes out. The guard over my machine, is metal, and the strait tooth shot right threw the metal, and it was a perfect square, with protruding metal, just like a bullet hole. So you have to make sure the teeth are totally tight. Check for any loose teeth, and best to tighten each one, especially if it is a rental, the guy at the shop might not be the brightest light in the shed, so take it open yourself, the teeth coming out is the most dangerous thing just about.

The 2nd most challenging thing is small rocks. if your stump is in dirt that has small rocks, your best to try and dig out as many as you can, before you start. You would want to put up plywood walls around your work area, so no rocks or small chips fly out, especially if you are working around windows or delicate items.

Most cities have a telephone number that you can call if you want to dig in your yard. Most stump grinding usually goes down about 6 inches below the grade, so you can put in your concrete, sod, new grass, mulch, new yard, or whatever, and the machines can go down deeper than that, but the more deeper, the more harder to control the machine.

Once you have the machine in front of the stump, set the blade up on the stump, and then make sure the wheel is off the stump, and start the machine, each machine will be different, some will be self propelled, some with brakes, some with different things. One stump grinding machine I have is for going up close to the house or fence, and getting it to the side, without hitting things.

Stump grinding is hard work. You will sweat if you have a pretty good size stump. It's also fun to stump grind. You just have to slowly slide the machine back and forth, over the stump, and slowly start watching the stump turn to butter from the machine. It will shoot out your side discharge, and pile up.

Depending on what type of tree it is, hardwood or softwood, and how sharp the teeth were from the store you rented the machine from. In San Diego, the average price to rent a machine is roughly $125. We grind average size tree stumps for this price, and the home owner does not have to go and rent the machine, pick it up and bring it home, about 250 pounds for an average 13hp machine, and then you still have to do the work, and hope something does not go wrong with the machine, because they are just like a Harley Davidson, they vibrate and things come loose, because stump grinding is a tough job, some stumps just don't want to come out sometimes, and you end up swearing at the thing, and sweating your ass off, and you get the job done.

So thinking you are saving money by renting a machine for $125 and doing it yourself, you might want to think again. We are loaded and ready to go pretty quick most of the time. If a contractor is putting in a new fence, or sidewalk, he usually can't do it with stumps in the way, and needs it done quick, but we charge the price of renting a machine, and since we are cheaper than anyone we believe, and will beat any price, if they just ask us, or offer us a price to do a certain job, I don't usually say no, and veterans get a better deal, 10% off.

You can see what an average stump grinder looks like at Discount Stump Grinding.

The mulch and saw dust you have afterwords, is great for the yard, is biodegradable, and if mixed properly, is great soil amendment, and looks great around bushes and shrubs. A stump will usually make about 3 times the size of mulch or sawdust, so you will get a lot.

Vince Stead has written 10 books so far.
You can find his books at places like Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and even his own website at http://www.vincestead.com

You can get every one of his books as a book at regular price, and you also get them as digital downloads for only $2.99 each.

You can also get most all of my books as digital downloads for only $2.99!

How Our Trip to the Hearst Castle Tour Went

We had a pretty good time at the weekend getaway we took to Hearst Castle.

We stayed at a small motel just several miles from the large estate with the giant castle on top. We were virtually out in the middle of nowhere, and it ended up being one of the best little getaways we ever had, we even caught up on some much deserved rest!

The trip to Hearst Castle was very impressive, I must admit. I knew very little about the man and the castle, and they clear that up right away, when you watch a short movie about the man and the castle, and it immediately becomes very very interesting!

You park at the bottom of the mountain, and you take buses up to the top. Our bus driver must have been a race car driver in his earlier days, and the winding steep road is trip all by itself! My wife loved it!

The castle is beautiful and just very impressive. The castle is broken up into several tours, and you have to buy each one. We really enjoyed our weekend getaway, for just the two of us.

I don't know what I was think, but several months later, we wanted to go back to Hearst Castle and take a different tour, but this time we brought 2 of the kids with us, to show them the castle and tour. We went on day that was a holiday, and after driving for over 400 miles, we went the next day, and I did not ever think the tours would be sold out, but when we got their, all tours were sold out, and we wasted so much time, it never dawned on me the tour would be sold out, it was not a hotel, just a tour. It is a public state park now, and the state or government runs it, and I still want to go back again, just don't have the time. You will really enjoy the park, just make sure you get tickets ahead of time, especially if you are driving from far away!

Sources to buy Good Quality Wholesale Merchandise to Resell

Merchandise Sources
for:

Retail Stores, Swapmeet & Flea Market and Business Owners

A lot of businesses have been started from the owner selling first at a swap meet or flea market and then moving up into a store location. You can make a full time living, selling at swapmeets, on the weekends, if you have plenty of items to sell. Most swapmeets charge you a certain amount of money, for each parking space that you take.
You take all your supplies with you, and set everything up, and sell your items until the end of the day, when you take it back down, and wait to do it again. The best thing about a swapmeet business, is, that there is generally a lot of foot traffic, and you will have a large customer base to show your wares to.
Later, there is a list of companies that have great items, that most people can start out selling at swapmeets, and flea markets. There are thousands of companies that sell all the items you see at any swapmeet in America. Tto get the widest taste, of all these companies, it would be good to attend a trade show, in Las Vegas, or Atlantic City, twice a year for the big ASD/AMD trade shows. To attend, you usually need business credentials, like a business card, resell permit, or business license, to get registered.
The big trade shows, have over 3,000 companies that attend to sell, and over 50,000 store owners, and swapmeet vendors, go their, to buy new items, from all over the world. The list below, is just a taste of some of the companies, but, they are all respectable companies, in their selling fields.

On the average, the items you see at a .99 cent or Dollar Store, would net the owner 40 cents profit on every dollar item sold on average, so if a store does $1,000 a day for 30 days, they would gross $30,000 and the net before all expenses would be $12,000. A lot of dollar stores started out selling at swap meets, especially in the Southern California area, dollar stores are about on every corner these days. They still have name brands with good values. Some of the bigger chains of dollar stores are traded on the stock market, so it is very much big business now.

Leading General Merchandise Wholesalers

APPAREL:

Active Sportswear…..............…............. As a child, his father owned a string of bakeries, and Vince's job in elementary school was to put filling and icing on top of all of donuts for all his dads bakeries on the weekends. As a teenager he worked in a restaurant and grocery store. Vince always had side jobs selling or doing some sort of service for folks in his neighborhood like mowing the lawn, or shoveling snow. Right out of high school he joined the Navy and also dabbled in business while also taking some college course while in the Navy. Vince has traveled to 13 countries and was able to travel around the world in 1986, by way of a Navy destroyer and Air Force cargo planes. After leaving the Navy, Vince did many of the ideas in this book here, lots of them as a matter of fact.

After seeing a man in San Diego selling everything at an outdoor swapmeet for everything for $1. He decided he wanted to have a booth like that because the mans line was so long with paying customers. Vince opened the first .99 cent store in North County in 1990 in Oceanside, California. He eventually opened another one in Escondido, California. While running his two stores, Vince set up a warehouse in Oceanside, California for extra storage for his stores and to also started to wholesale his products to other stores in California and other states. Eventually dollar stores popped up on almost every corner, and the internet was just becoming of age to the average home owner. Vince sold full time on all the auction sites when he first got his first computer, eventually going to just his own website and advertising it in magazines and on the internet to get wholesale customers to visit his site at bargainpricewholesale.com that is still open today.

Vince has been self-employed ever since being a teenager, and now he is in his 40's. His father was self employed for over 55 years in various businesses, and most of his 7 brothers and sisters have all owned their own business at one time or another. Today Vince still runs the website, he has authored several books and raises mastiff dogs, and likes to get away to their weekend home that is 2 hours away and relax when time permits!

You can also get most all of my books as digital downloads for only $2.99!

Start your own Knife Sharpening Service

Knife Sharpening Service

You can start your own business, and work for yourself, as a knife sharpening service business, and do it from almost anywhere. There are lots of types of sharp items, that needed to be sharpened on a regular basis, to keep them working properly. Some things that need to be sharped might include items like Kitchen knives, lawn mower blades, hedge clippers, scissors, axes, chisels, saws, pocket knives, swords, and more.
If you have a grinder, and can sharpen sharp items to the customers satisfaction, then you can make money sharpening knives and more for customers. You can contact home improvement stores, hardware stores, sporting goods stores, pharmacy and gift stores, etc.. and ask them if you can set up a booth, and banner, inside, or in front of their store, to get customers for free. The store owner will like the idea, because it does not cost them anything, and they will get extra customers from the extra foot traffic your knife sharpening service business, will bring in. You can give a discount if they bring more than one item to sharpen.
You could contact local stores and set up a program where their customers can drop off items to be sharpened, and once a week you come in, and sharpened everything that needs to be sharped, and you both, split the profit, and you could have your own route set up.

You can start your own Typing Service Business

You can start your own typing service, and it's not that hard to learn how to type, if you don't know how, you can easily go to your local library and check out items their. You can start your own typing service business and make money supplying a service others might need you do. People might have all kinds of things that need to be typed up, reports, books, letters, wills, etc...and don't know how to type, or don’t have the time or desire. A typing service could include more than just basic typing.
If you have a little bit of computer experience knowledge, you could include graphics from the internet, you could type up menus for restaurants, delis, coffee shops, etc…You could type up your own flier, and pass it out to coffee houses, college campuses, high schools, book clubs, etc...You could have a nice sign made up and put on your car, telling about your typing service. Now, don't laugh, but somebody is going to make money with them, it might as well be you, don't you think? If you could build a better mouse trap, so to speak, you could really market the portable bathroom business service. How many times have you been to a picnic, fair, outdoor event, construction site, park, sporting event, etc... and have had to use one of those plastic, portable, public bathrooms, that are common almost everywhere.
Usually they are pretty nasty and narly inside, if you ever have the bad experience of having to use one! You could start you own business, and make much better bathrooms for customers, you could hit it big maybe. You could start with ordinary portable bathrooms, you can buy, and haul on a trailer, and rent them out yourself, and manage them. But what if you built a better one, one that you could charge $1, or $2 or more, to use. Someone would pay that, if they knew the inside was much cleaner, private, safe, and more luxurious inside.
If your bathroom had granite counter tops, porcelain bowls, tile surround sound, and new and updated features, and room for several "clients" at a time, somebody for sure would want to use your portable toilet. If you could build the ultimate bathroom, and monitor it, even with a tuxedo on, when you wait on customers, would be pretty eye catchy, to say the least. Customers would pay, just to see what you have done inside, to your mobile bathroom.
You could arrange to be at countless activities, where your service would just knock the socks off, of everyone else’s bathrooms. You could also rent your portable bathroom out, to events like rodeos, car shows, flea markets, etc... on a event basis, making it accessible to everyone, for the whole event. you can advertise, and get other contracts for your portable bathrooms, while you're "busy" getting new clients. If you can use your imagination, and build something, you would not mind your own family using, and it would be top of the line, you could have a fun and unique business experience.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Mobile Oil Change Business

Mobile Oil Change

You can start your own business working for yourself, offering to simply change the oil in peoples autos for them. You can set up a system where you can remind previous customers that it is time for an oil change, and they can call you anytime. everyone wants an oil change, but occasionally people are to busy, or just plain forget to get it done. Most cars and trucks need their oil changed every 3,000 miles.
You could make up a flyer that says you come by every 2 weeks or so, and that you will change the oil in any of the cars in the parking lot, for such and such a price, that you want to charge them for your service. You could easily have regular customers who would come to rely on your services on a regular basis. You could go to office buildings, industrial centers, factories, and more, that have big parking lots, and lots of workers inside. You could offer to change the oil in all cars for a certain price, you would only need to bring the oil and tools with you, and buy the oil filters close by.
People would find your service to be great, and then each day you could service a different section of town. You would only need to change the oil in several cars each day to make good money. You could make up a flyer, saying how much you charge, for oil changes, and notifying them that you will be around all the time, on a regular basis. This system will make you get more customers than if you just try to do spot oil changes all over town. You will get a lot of repeat business, and then you can grow your business with helpers who go out and change the oil for you in cars.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Window Washing Service

Window Washing Service
You can start your own window washing service and be in business for yourself pretty easy, and with very little expense for materials to start out and get going. These days, with the many types of new fold up ladders, you can virtually fit a tall ladder, into almost any little car. It's always nice to have a professional looking vehicle, if you can afford it, with nice signs, with your name and contact information on it. You can work up to that, after you have a few jobs under your belt, and you want to look even more professional.
You can check out other window washing services in your area, to get a feel for what prices they charging, and what all they do for that price. Call several of them, to get a really good feel for what the average rate is, as you will see high and low prices. You can make up fliers and have a special price for new customers with your flyer, and then pass them out to a neighborhood one at a time, and the phone will start to ring later.
Make sure you do the best job you can do, and be very curtious, as this kind of business is a repeat customer business, because eventually theirwindows will get dirty again later, and you want them to call you back. They will also tell several family members, and friends, about you, if you do an excellent job. You could also make up a small flier and put it inside a sandwich bag, with a few stones or pebbles, and slow drive around and toss them into each driveway you drive by to get immediate calls and get your business up and running, and then later you can advertise in newspapers and other places.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Handyman Service Business

. Handyman Service

You can start your own handyman service business and work for yourself, and work when and where you want to work. if you’re an average, or above average "do it yourself" type of person, when it comes to working on homes. If you have the basic knowledge of understanding how plumbing, electricity, construction, landscaping, roofing and general homes repairs are supposed to be done, then you can start your own handyman service business. If you’re the "Do It Yourself" type individual, you might like being in business being a handyman.
Even if you don't know the basics about simple home repairs, like changing a toilet, water heater, sink, or faucet. Or, just replacing a bad sprinkler head, or underground water line break, or a home that is in need of a paint job, or just an old front porch, that needs to be fixed back up to new.
You can learn lots of things quickly, if you go to any home improvement store, book store, or local library and read some of their "how to books". You can find so many things on how to fix stuff around the house. Most fix it yourself type jobs, are standard procedure, when it comes to fixing them with directions from a book. Each job will be a little bit different, and you surely don't want the customer to see you reading a book, that would be embarrassing!
For example: If you replace a broken water heater in one house, you can do another house just about the same. It will be pretty much the same, but not exactly the same, but after you do it once, you should have a knack for it. If you have the basic knowledge, for understanding how a water heater works, and where the water lines should be hooked up to, and if it's either, gas or electric, and you can hook the water heater up with no problems, I'm sure you can do almost any hot water heater replacement job.
As a handyman, you don't need to be an expert in everything. For example: you might know how to change a light fixture, and run new outlets to a new place you want to be able to plug in electricity, but you might want to leave the more complicated stuff, like circuit breakers and other dangerous jobs, to the electrician experts. As long as you are honest with all home owners, when they show you something that needs to be fixed, you can be honest and let them know if you can do it, or if you can't. You are a handyman, that means you can tackle most all, regular jobs, that need to be done. You don't have to be an expert in everything, and rebuild them a new house from scratch either, to succeed.
Lot's of homeowners are just to busy, or don't know how to do basic home repairs themselfs. Most people call someone to come and fix something when it breaks, and they just want it fixed. so they can get back to their lives. You can offer your services to many customers. You can make up a flier, and put it in places where people 55 and over usually live and socialize, they are good candidates for home repairs, and handyman service. You should be fair in your pricing, do not take advantage of older people. When you find a complex, like a mobile home park for example, that requires everyone to be 55 or over to liver there. In California, there are all kinds of places you have to be 55 or older to liver there, mobile home parks, and more.
If you start working in one of those types of places where mostly senior citizens are, and do a good job for them, at a competitive price, you can get a lot of jobs and make everyone happy. Most of these senior citizens have already retired, and they are home most of the day. They take walks thru their neighborhoods, and when they see a truck working on something, they usually stop and notice it, because they are not in a hurry any more, and they have the time to talk and chat. If your around, they will walk over up to you usually and say hi, and talk to you. Later, they will ask you to fix something for them, since they have seen you around already and have spoken to you also already. So be really good with older folks, and you could turn your handyman business into a nice living. You should also have nice signs on your vehicle to get extra jobs. You can advertise in small newspapers, and make up some fliers and put them all over neighborhoods.
To get business quickly, you can make up your flier, put it inside small clear sandwich baggies, include a few stones or pebble for weight, and include your flyer. You can drive around the neighborhoods you would like to work in, and slowly drive around and toss each flyer into all the driveways as you drive around slowly. You will get calls quickly for work, when you do this system.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Mobile Home Painting Business (painting mobile homes and trailers)

Mobile Home Painting "Mobile Homes & Trailers"

You can be in business for yourself part time or full time with this business. You can go to mobile home and trailer parks and specialize in the painting of mobile homes and trailers in the parks. You can get a lot or work if you target mobile home parks, they are full of mobile homes that need painting. If you drive thru one, and look at some of the homes in mobile home parks, you will notice lots of them need to be painted. Most of them are made out of metal, and it gets pretty hot compared to wood.
You would also be surprised to know that, there are probably a lot more mobile home parks in your area, than you really think there is. If you do a search on the internet for mobile home parks, in your area, a lot should pop up on your search. A lot of mobile home parks these days are for people 55 years old, or older. I found that when I was painting in a mobile home park with senior citizens 55 and older, that when I was out painting, a lot of folks would go for walks thru their mobile home parks, and come by and see me painting. They would ask me for an estimate on their mobile home, and the word of mouth advertising just took off.
You will have plenty of work painting, when you make up a flyer, and give one to each person you. You could also send out your flyer to mobile home dealers, mobile home sellers, mobile home and trailer maintenance supply places, mobile home movers, since all of these people are essentially in the mobile home business. They will be the ones asked by mobile home owners, or buyers, if they know anyone who paints mobile homes, and they can give them your number. It is also good to send each manager of the mobile home parks one of your flyers, so they can post it on their bulletin boards, usually in the laundry rooms, or recreation rooms so the tenants can see what’s going on.
Always make sure you mail out a new batch of flyers on a regular basis, so people in the mobile home business will remember your name and number, and eventually send you more business. Later on, you can have others painting for you, while you drive around and check on their work. Mobile homes can be painted by 1 person in 2 to 3 days, so you could really get a lot of work lined up.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Chimney Sweep Business

You can start your own chimney sweeping service and be in business for yourself, and make a good living doing it. Some of the retirement communities that allow only people 55 and older to live their, have some of the most active seniors, with all kinds of wants and needs, and if you can fulfill that market, you can make some money doing it.
Find a way to fulfill this need, with either day trips, bus tours, cruises, vacation scheduling help, or even bingo, and you can set up various outings, where someone will win a big grand prize! You could arrange with local tour operators who are already in business,. Find out thier prices for certain day trips, and then negotiate for even a better price, so that you can make even more profit. You could make up your own flyers, and offer the same trips, but market it differently than the tour operators do, by going directly to places older folks like to be. You can try places like mobile home parks, senior citizens centers, hospitals, churches, etc…

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Mobile Notary Public Service Business

If you like to travel, and run your own business, then you can make this a good part time, or full time job, as a mobile notary public. It is relatively pretty simple and easy to become a notary public, and sometimes it can be done in as little as one day. You can even learn to be a notary public from some internet websites, so do some searches, and check out several sites. There are lots of reason why people need items notarized, real estate exchanges, legal papers, court papers, divorce papers, and the list keeps growing with many reasons. Most notary public's charge by the signature.
You should have some nice magnetic signs made up, and put them on your automobile, with your contact information. Also, it's good to send out fliers to prival post offices, mail box rentals, senior citizen centers, real estate offices, and any place else that might need to have things notarized on a regular basis. You can offer businesses discount on multiple signatures, since your already their notarizing their signatures. You don't have to be an expert in the papers they are showing you, you need to be an expert in checking and obtaining correct signatures as a notary public. You can do this type of business from any type of automobile, and with gas prices they way they are these days, you could do this on a motorcycle also and have fun!

49. Mobile Windshield Replacement

You can work for yourself and start your own mobile business, replacing windshields, in cars and trucks everywhere. You can scout around for various prices on windshields, keeping in mind, that the most common cars and trucks, like the Ford F150 or Toyota Camry, are windshields you might want to carry a few of. Don't worry, about not having enough Ferrari windshields in stock, as you can get your hands on those later.
In any given city or town, you should be able to shop, and compare prices, for basic windshields, and then you will have a good feel for what each supplier has in stock for you to work with. If you can buy a windshield wholesale for $100, and sell it for $300, and add extra money for installing it on the spot, at their work or home, you could do really good. You should contact as many suppliers of windshields as you can get your hands on, so that when a customer calls you for a windshield, you have a pretty good idea if it will be in stock, or where you can get one from, and for how much. You don't need to have to many windshields in stock, just as long as you know where to get them when you need them.
Don't be afraid to ask the owner for a discount. You would be buying windshields from him, and others on a regular basis, and every business deal is negotiable, so it never hurts to ask for a better deal, so let them know you need a good discount! It's a good idea to have a pick up truck, or van, to haul the windshields with, and try to make good protection from any breakage. Lots of automobiles get their cars broken into and windows smasher, or just a rock tumbling off a work truck and hitting the car behind it's windshield as they are driving down the road. You can also add rear and side windows to make even more money.
http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Flyer Delivery Service Business

You can start your own flyer delivery service, delivering flyers for businesses, contractors, stores and more. You would get customers that would want you to pass out their flyers to homes, usually left at the front doors, or to car windshields in parking lots, and other places you could distribute fliers. You can contact companies and tell them you pass out flyers, and charge by the 100’s or the 1,000’s.
You could contact all types of businesses and offer your special, and tell them that you pass out flyers. You could walk house to house, and pass out multiple flyers at the same time for different businesses and make even more while your out going from home to home.
You can pass out flyers for businesses like restaurants, carpet cleaners, house painters, plumbers, landscapers, and just about any other kind of business you can think of. You can also pass out flyers by driving around and tossing them out the window into house driveways, but some homeowners do not like to get flyers that way, they think of it as litter, and some homeowners get upset. You can use a professional door knob hanging flyer, or regular paper size flyer. You could have prices made up for your flyer delivery service, and include prices for making copies of their flyers.
You could offer just a flyer delivery service, or you could get in even deeper, and offer to make the flyers. You could find a partner that can do desk top publishing, and make even more money selling the flyers, and delivering the flyers. You could get a crew to pass out flyers, and make even more money. To make sure the flyers get passed out, you could take them to a neighborhood they do not know, and give them a route you want them passed out to. You could spot check their work, by walking up to several various homes and checking to make sure they put out the flyers. You could include your own flyer saying you have a flyer delivery service also.
http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Recycling Service Business

You to can make money in the recycling business! Imagine, all the soda cans, beer cans and bottles, customers have purchased from all the stores everywhere. Then, all those cans and bottles are taken to the bigger, local recycler, who buys it from however brings them, and that could be you. Then again, they are taken to another larger recycler that deals only in tractor trailer loads, and then they finally make their way back to the manufactures, that usually turn them back into soda cans again.
You can profit from the point of the consumer, to the point of the recycler, by offering to take the soda cans to your own recycler. If you shop around, you will find many different prices for recycling materials, so it pays to shop around to get the best price you can. You can get recycling materials virtually for free, from home owners who have a little bit each week. You can donate 15% of the proceeds of their recyclables to a worthy cause, and it is best to pick one so they know which one it is, and by all means contribute exactly that amount you said you would. The cause you pick to donate to will surely appreciate the 15%, of all your hard work you donate to them in their name, and everybody gets a nice service.
Make up, and pass out flyers in a nice neighborhood to notify them of your new service that helps others. You could include your own recycling bags later on, with your name on the side, to help generate more business for you later on. You could do something like, "The Property of": and then your business name details, and that will help others see what is going on and want to join in. You can grow this business as big as you want it to be, or just keep it a part time business. Recycling is here to stay, and it is the right thing to do, environmentally and business wise.

http://www.crazybooksanddvdsimake.com/

Start your own Driving Instructor Business

Driving Instructor

You can make good money, by teaching others how to operate a car safely, and teaching new drivers the rules of the road. They have feedback just like ebay and other auction sites, and you can talk to the potential candidates, and pick the right one for you.
